Stayed Apr 24, 2026The camp is perfectly located on the canal for access to the best fishing spots and fuel/bait shops. The camp was very clean and well equipped kitchen. Even had a cast iron skillet for cooking our catch. Parking and launching could not have been easier. The extra bathroom on the dock was helpful when the primary one was occupied. The fish cleaning station was great. Only suggestion would be to add a high speed fan above the fish cleaning station to clear out the mosquitoes and gnats while cleaning fish. Stayed Jul 28, 2025We were looking for a shady comfortable spot in the area to fish & crab with my 9 yr old grandchild and this was ideal. Shane, our host, was very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had.We can't wait to come back and stay again!

Stayed Jun 5, 2025Place was good for a fishing camp, can’t expect much more but the smell was less then desirable. the launch wasn’t good for my size boat (ranger 2510) had a slope to one side and my boat was not able to be put back on trailer properly. Just my thoughts

Stayed Apr 28, 2025Everything was great. Cabin was so cute, clean and well stocked. We were very pleasantly surprised—way exceeded description on the Internet in my opinion. Perfect place to get away and explore the southern Louisiana area. Docked our boat right outside the door and had ample parking across the street for truck and trailer. Shane was very helpful and responsive. We had a great time!
