Our host Robert was kind and helpful. He explained what was available in the cabin. And suggested places to visit based on our interests. Lots of trails.
We were looking for a comfortable, clean, cozy place to spend a weekend away, and this location delivered in an amazing way!
I enjoyed a brief, but wonderful stay. I arrived a little later than anticipated and it was dark and rainy, but Rob (our host), met me outside and directed me to the location of the cabin, which was a short drive up a private driveway. While parking was a little precarious in the dark, the cabin was just as described. Small, but cozy, with all the key items one would need. It was clean and everything was in good working order. I specifically enjoyed the side porch area, where we were able to have breakfast while just enjoying the quiet of the woods around us. The dogs we brought were comfortable, too. Would absolutely stay again.
Description is exactly what you will arrive to. Very simple and charming cabins. They are very remote and quiet but close enough to local towns and other sites for day excursions. The host, Robert, was a joy to work with. He was very communicative and available for any questions we had. My only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough!
The cabin was clean and quite. The location to Hot Springs and good hiking was excellent.
It was what we expected. No TV, limited cell service. We enjoyed being remote but close to some great trails for hiking, Hot Springs were great. We used the grill but were disappointed that we couldn’t use the fire pit because of the fire ban due to the lack of rain. Eat a steak at the Iron Horse restaurant!
Loved the cabin. Very nice and clean, local to hicking and biking. My only drawback is that the cabins were too close to each other in oder to maintaine privacy as the cabins are on a cultisac . Being from the city, I would have enjoyed this place more if it were more private. Perfect place to have family members renting out the cabins.
We would go back,
We loved our stay.
the place is nice for peaceful gateway but close to several attractions
My husband and I stayed in one of Rob's cabins for the 4th of July weekend. My parents were able to come up and stay in a cabin right next to us which was a nice convenience to have meals at each other's cabins. Very peaceful and quiet location. After hiking, it was a nice place to come back to and relax. Robb was very friendly and helpful. Great place ?
