Stayed Oct 8, 2025Smelled of heavy smoke, stained towels that looked like they were not washed, and stains all on carpet. Light bulb in dining room broken and laying over.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025This cabin was in terrible shape. The carpet was dirty and had holes and ragged areas. The dishwasher didn’t work. All other appliances were in working condition. More than half the light fixtures didn’t work and we had to buy our own lightbulbs for the dining area light. The towel rack in the main bathroom had been broken and the linoleum was buckling along the edge. The mattress in the bedroom where we slept was stained in almost the entire surface. I have included photos below. The back porch furniture cushions were badly soiled, mildew covered, and torn.While we really enjoyed the location and area activities, the cabin was very disappointing. We will likely visit this area again in the future but will likely not book this cabin again. The management was very sympathetic of our situation. We urged them to remove this cabin from their listing.

Stayed Aug 22, 2025It does have nice views of the valley and mountains. The cabin is nicely laid out and has adequate kitchen supplies. However, the carpet is badly stained and has a strong smell to it. There has been a leak near the chimney which has created a musty smell. Several of the lamps were missing lightbulbs or had non-working lightbulbs.I would be willing to rent a different Dogwood Cabin if I could see it first.
