Cabin with River View located between Cherokee & Bryson City, 5 miles to casino!

The cabin was just as nice as we could have asked for. Very well equipped, beautifully decorated, gorgeous view and comfortable. Simply because we are not accustomed to mountain living, we would have preferred easier access - at least a wider road in and out, but even that was truly an experience we will always remember.

I liked the atmosphere and the remote location. The house was quaint and had everything we needed. The only problem we had was that the spa/hot tub wasn't functioning correctly. The owner and I pretty much played message tag for 3 days. Never got it checked out but she did apologize and refunded us $50 off of our stay.

Everything was provided with this cabin stay. It was cozy, peaceful, very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub and just sitting on the porch overlooking the river and listening to nature sounds only! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Will definitely be returning.

Great quiet location, not too far from the casino and hiking. We enjoyed the hot tub and listening to the rain on the back porch while watching the river.

Sitting on the porch watching the wildlife was so relaxing! Great view! It’s a nice cabin & delivered on privacy when we were looking for somewhere secluded. There was access to the river down the road if you wanted to get to it. It was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed at. Kitchen was well stocked with what you need to make some great meals. Showers are on the smaller side but manageable. I really appreciated the scentless sensitive skin soaps as fragrances give me migraines. Communication with the owner was excellent as they responded quickly. Thanks for the stay!

The cabin was lovely, well equipped, comfortable and with a great view. Host was friendly and helpful. Could have used a warning about the entry road and driveway conditions, especially after a week of rain.

Well… it was bound to happen someday. The world of vacation rentals of houses and cabins now has a new standard of excellence for other rentals to be compared with. This rental and its incredible host, Jennifer Armstrong, have become that standard of excellence! Folks who have rented here in the past (and those who are fortunate enough to rent this house in the future) should be congratulated on their decision. Spectacular stay! Beautiful location, relaxing time on the mountain. Property was spotlessly maintained. We all would recommend this cabin to friends, family, and all looking for place to relax after a day in Cherokee.

Reservation, communication with host, and directions to cabin were all very good. Only two issues, the dishwasher was full of clean dishes and two spatulas had been put away dirty. We had a very good time.

Very cut and cozy, very clean. The washing machine was not hooked up and the drive way can be challenging. Over all I would recommend this cabin.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was quiet, relaxing, and peaceful with a great view of the river and lots of wildlife to see, hear and enjoy. The cabin was very clean and had a new and updated feel, with almost everything we needed. We spent most of our time on the deck in the rocking chairs enjoying the views. The location is great—very close to Cherokee while still feeling secluded. We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin is in a beautiful secluded location, yet 15 minutes from several good restaurants, and 30 minutes from trout fishing getaways. Perfect.

Nothing negative here. Cozy, comfortable, and plenty of seating in the den. In the morning it was nice with the fireplace and a cup of coffee. Beds were comfortable with plenty of outlets and places for our clothes. I would return.

Secluded in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. The home was very clean and peaceful. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs while enjoying the view of the river.

We had a wonderful time. Very peaceful and relaxing location, but close to Cherokee. We loved being able to watch the river. Nice and clean, too. The only tiny issue was that the bedrooms have no sound proofing.

Loved the floor plan. Two separate bed/bath on each side of cabin provided privacy for friends traveling together.

I stayed with my son and grandson for Grandude camp which involved hiking in the Smokies, rafting at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and Cherokee area exploration. The cabin was ideally located and provided the perfect respite from our various activities. I highly recommend for lodging, rest, and relaxation in this special part of the world.

My husband & I decided to plan a last minute getaway to the mountains. The location of the cabin was perfect since we planned to visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park through both Bryson City & Cherokee. The property had everything we needed for a great stay. And the hot tub after a day of hiking was the perfect way to end the day!

The cabin was amazing! Beautifully decorated. It had a very cozy feel to it. Loved the back porch and the views. So quiet but located to close to so many different towns. We never ran out of something to do. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

This is a great cabin and one of the cleanest places we have ever rented. Communication with the owner was easy and she communicated promptly.The road to the cabin was a bit tenuous but manageable.All the amenities were as listed and complete. There was easy access to Bryson City, Cherokee, and other quaint mountain towns were with in easy driving distances.

This cozy home was super clean, well stocked, attractive, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the porch and view. The only negative was the narrow gravel road entering the development. However, everyone was respectful and willing to pull over or back up to let others pass.

This was a much needed peaceful time away from our boys. The cabin was very clean when we entered and it was just what we needed. I used the hot tub every day and it was much needed. It was helpful to have an extra bathroom and bedroom. We were shocked by the narrow road we had to drive to get to the cabin, so glad my husband drove. He did say he got use to the drive. Loved seeing the Fireflies every night! Jennifer was amazing to work with, never had a property manager that was so attentive and helpful before. Would definitely book again if coming back to North Carolina and I will recommend the property.

Came to the area for a concert at the Casino. Cabin was great. Nice view of the river. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved the hot tub! We hope to return. Enjoyed use of the well-appointed kitchen.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful home! Liked the layout of 2 bedrooms - each with their own bathroom off the hallway. Loved the hot tub on the covered porch overlooking the mountains.

Overall great stay Thank you very much only thing I didn't really care for was the headboard and foot board on the bed..kept hitting my head on the head board wooden pole that went across and hit my feet on the bottom board, other than that very nice place thank you

We had a concert at the casino and made a weekend out of it! The house’s location was perfect for that!! We loved the porch over looking the river and the hot tub. Super relaxing! Very clean and inviting! The beds however were not very comfortable and the drive through the neighborhood isn’t great. I wouldn’t want to drive in my car due to the steep hills… thankfully we were in my husband’s truck. Very peaceful and succluded though. We really enjoyed ourselves!

This cabin was perfect for us! It had such a great view and the mountain was not too terrible to get up. Jennifer was a great host and communicated with me very well. I really appreciate how she took our safety into consideration when it came to the ice on the road getting to cabin on the mountain. Everything we needed was there and easy access. I highly recommend this place!

We drove up early do to winter weather coming and was able to check in earlier then expected. The host was very accommodating and responsive when asked questions about our stay. The cabin was clean and we'll stocked. The hot tub was very nice to watch the snow fall down and even made a snowman. I would highly recommend this cabin and I will be staying g here again!

Trout creek cabin was just that, a very cozy getaway from the holiday hustle! We enjoyed a day in, and another day exploring the Great Smokey Mountain parkway into Tennessee. With the close location of the cabin it made it very convenient to access. Jennifer is a great host and makes for a very comfortable and easy experience! This was not our first stay and we hope to return again!

We had a wonderful time during our visit. I just wished that we had more time to spend there. Wonderful homey feeling away from home.

Great Accommodations! Mountain Cabin with an amazing view of the river. Only a short driving distance to all attractions. I wouldn’t change a thing about this gem in the Smokies!

Everything went great. The Owner was very helpful and very informative. The cabin was in great shape when we arrived. The locationn wasnt the greatest because of where it was at bit it wasnt a problem. The driveway was linf of steep but it wasnt something that you wasnt able to travel on.

This will definitely become the place for my family to stay at when visiting. Peaceful and relaxing.

This cabin was exactly as described. It was a beautiful cabin inside and out in a peaceful setting by the river. Cabin was immaculately clean on the inside and to our surprise was decorated with the most beautiful woodsy themed Christmas decorations and tree when we arrived the first week in November. Communication with the host was quick and most helpful, as she even sent ideas on things to do in the area and places to eat. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. This was our first time booking through vrbo and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our choice. This was the most beautiful, perfect cabin and location for the first getaway without children in over 24 years for my husband and me.
