Other Things to Note:

★ ACCESS ★

- Although it is not mandatory to have a 4 wheel drive we do recommend our guests to have one in the winter only. The road is paved all the way but the last 3 turns are steeper than the rest of the road.

- We do recommend people to do their main grocery shopping in Pigeon Forge or on their way. There are stores around but nothing like a major chain within 20 minutes.

★ SWIMMING POOL and POND ACCESS ★

Guest will be given access to the large pool and fishing pond at the Honeysuckle park in Wears Valley to enjoy with the family from May to Labor day

★ STARTER KITS ★

We do supply a starter kit including bar soap, liquid dish soap, dish tabs for dishwasher, toilet paper, laundry pod and paper towels. This will prevent you to have to go to the store the first night but plan to buy more so you are covered during the full length of your stay.

★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★

Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.

★ PETS ALLOWED ★

We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. (Contact us about the additional fees)

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★

Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★

We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

★ ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION ★

Traveling in a larger group, or your preferred dates are already taken You'll be happy that we offer additional accommodation in The Smokies. Please browse our host profile for the complete list of our listings.

★ KIDS ★

As parents, we know that traveling with the kiddos requires additional luggage. To simplify your stay, we have a pack and play and a high chair for your convenience.

★ NATURE ★

Being in nature means you may encounter some wildlife. Inside the cabin, you might see some harmless insects despite our regular pest control process. They sometimes make their way in between cleans but rest assured that the place is treated regularly. Also, if you are lucky enough to spot any bears, raccoons, turkeys, or mice outside, please keep them there! They are all attracted to the smell of cooking food and garbage. We highly recommend you don't invite them to dinner and DO NOT FEED THEM.

★ FIREPLACE ★

Fireplace is off from April 1st to September 30th.

★ TV and WIFI ★

The cabin offers WIFI in all areas. TV has access to various streaming platforms including Netflix. Guests can log into their accounts.

- IMPORTANT: Please read the house rules and make sure that you comply with all instructions.

Interaction with Guests:

Our guest is at the center of all our priorities. We ensure the cabin is welcoming making you feel at home for you to relax and enjoy, leaving us to take care of anything else!

Very clean cabin, probably one of the cleanest properties I’ve stayed at. Had plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 3 toddlers!

The cabin was great it was very clean and well equipped with everything you needed especially if u had kids we did get a visit from a big black snake and a bear during our visit .I was personally not a fan of the road it had a few steep curves but is was manageable. I highly recommend this cabin

We have absolutely no complaints about the cabin - house we stayed in. It was as good as it gets. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Wears valley area. Everything we needed was there. The times my wife Paula had a question about anything we had a response immediately. It was clean as could be. Our only regret was we couldn't have stayed longer.

It was nice, clean and up to date. Host was responsive and understanding to any concerns. Only issue was a trash can lid and that was promptly fixed without our notifying them the first night. Not sure if it was explained in the add, but the only downside was that there is no interior connection from the game room/theater area to the upper house. You have to go outside and downstairs in the elements to go back and forth. Not a big concern, just thought it was a weird setup.

This property was BEAUTIFUL! It was an easy 20 minute drive to all of the places we wanted to go. It was pet friendly for all of our fur babies and had plenty of amenities to keep us entertained if we didn’t want to leave. The host was very friendly and gracious and we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, cozy cabin perfect for our family Christmas trip! The location is great! Close enough to major atttactions but tucked far enough away to still feel private. Check-in process was a breeze. Kitchen was well-equipped for meals. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Mattresses seemed to be newer. Our host, Jean was so kind and quick to respond to any messages. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Cozy Bear cabin. Great location, very clean, and everything to offer. The back porch with the fireplace was our favorite gathering place, while our boys loved the hot tub and downstairs game room. Would highly recommend.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful and amazing. Very pet-friendly which was nice considering we brought two of our dogs along with us. The cabin was very close to Pigeon Forge and Townsend, which is where my family and I wanted to visit the most. The cabin itself was extremely clean, that bed was by far the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. We enjoyed the hot tub and the outside fire pit. We spent a lot of time down in the movie theater and my mom really enjoyed the little arcade games that were in the kitchen area. We also saw a few bears during our stay. Our first encounter with a bear was 2 hours after we first arrived. The host was extremely helpful and responded quickly whenever we needed help with something. Overall this experience was absolutely amazing and I hope to return to this cabin in the future when we visit the Smokies again!

The property is absolutely fantastic! The hosts are awesome and easy to deal with. The family had a blast. Close to all the outdoor activities and waterfalls we were looking for and close enough to some of the tourist stuff for the kids. We will book again next year! Thank you!

Good parking, lots of appliances and cooking tools, very comfortable beds- everyone raved about them. Location was quiet- very little traffic but close to the cute shops in the valley. Fairly quick to get to the IGA in Townsend, and gas. Tons of TV channels and very good wifi.

We stayed here for a few days in Jan 2025 and had a great time. I will say this cabin maybe wouldnt be great for elders just because there isnt a direct passway from the main cabin to the game/theatre room down in the garage. You have to go outside and take the steep steps to get there. That did prevent grandma from going downstairs and playing down there with us, but thats okay. The place was clean, and just as described: We had a great time. Very steep hill to get up to the drivrway though. 4x4 in the winter months would be a must.

My family stayed here for 4 nights and it was truly a great experience. The inside of the cabin was clean, the game room in the garage was great for having fun, and the view was very pretty. I would say there were only two things we had issues with. The down stairs bathroom towels had a very strong musky smell. The other bathrooms upstairs didnt have the same smell. The outside of the cabin was filled with spiders all over the porches. For someone who hates spiders I ended up have a black widow on me and that was not fun. Other than those things my family had a great experience and would love to be back.
