Great home in beautiful high alpine location. Altitude of 11,500 is manageable if you're prepared. Saw a mother and baby moose, and a fox right out the back door.
My family and a couple friends, total of 6 adults, stayed for 5 nights. The home was very clean. The home is cozy with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The beds are comfortable and the living area is comfortable for relaxing. There was plenty of linens available. The views are gorgeous from the home. The drive to Breck was easy. It was nice to be close to town, yet stay up in the mountains. We had a fox visit one night, it just came right up to the back door like it had been there before. We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! There was a welcome gift when we arrived, which was so very nice of them. We had no complaints. It was better than expected.
Overall we had a good experience. Only a couple issues, I should of realized how high the house was located we were all having trouble breathing. Thank god we had 4wd it was a must even with 4wd the road to top was a sheet of ice. The bedding and Mattresses need updated I like that they allow dogs but you’ll need to deal with the dog hair on your clothing. Wis we had access to the satellite could not watch any programs. Overall we had a fine stay..kitchen areas were key to bringing the group together and it was stocked with lots of condiments that helped out with cooking. I would stay again thanks
