Stayed Aug 1, 2025Property was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Definitely need a 4WD/AWD vehicle to get up the steep gravel road to the property. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jan 31, 2025It was just as presented my wife and I were looking for some quiet time to get away and just relax. This place was it and we would go there again possibly in the summer.

Stayed Nov 28, 2024We rented the Little Lodge to get away from the DC traffic and noise (not to mention multiple Thanksgiving invites) and that was certainly the case. The drive up the mountain was no joke, but well worth it. The cabin is isolated enough for total privacy and quiet. All the amenities were there, so we really didn't have to bring much with us to enjoy this lovely, cozy little lodge. A !

Stayed Oct 11, 2025Little Lodge was a wonderful getaway -- exactly as listed. As noted the roads in and out require an AWD or 4WD vehicle but the directions were great and we had no trouble in our Subaru. Our family (along with the dog) was very comfortable. We enjoyed Luray caverns and New Market sites. Definitely hope to return again!

Stayed Jun 8, 2025A very quiet and secluded place to stay. I was looking for a place for rest and relaxation and this was the perfect spot. There was heavy rains the day of my arrival and the roads were washed out in several areas. Although it mentioned the need for a 4x4 vehicle to access the property, I feel a little more emphasis on this could have been helpful in the add. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Stayed Jun 8, 2025Very quiet and secluded. It had rained hard the evening we arrived and the road had washed out in several places but otherwise the stay was very nice.

Stayed May 30, 2025A few messes to clean up when we got there that the cleaning crew missed - nothing major. You will definitely need a 4-wheel drive to get up the hills. Lovely location, quiet.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025We loved our stay at the Little Lodge! We were looking for a relaxing and cozy weekend filled with reading by the fire, wineries, and good food, and that’s exactly what we got! It was the perfect way to recharge, and the added bonus of being able to bring our pup along made the trip even better! Highly recommend staying here!

Stayed Jun 29, 2024I wanted a peaceful vacation spot on top of a mountain and this did not disappoint! All of the modern amenities and exceptionally clean. AWD is a must! The bed, pillows and linens were incredibly comfortable! Very well supplied with everything you will need. Extremely dog friendly, but you also can't tell any previous dog stayed there, so even if you have no pets it's amazing. Highly recommended!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family had a wonderful stay at the Little Lodge! It was our first time to the New Market/Luray area and we made the most of it! We enjoyed several trips to Luray walking the Greenway with the kids and visited the Caverns. We also made a breakfast trip to the Little Grill in Harrisonburg which is a must! The house was cozy and well-stocked with everything to make us feel right at home. The fire pit made for a relaxing evening after a long day out with the kids. Thanks Erin & family for a wonderful stay!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful time at The Little Lodge! It was private, peaceful and stocked with everything we could possibly need! It feels like you are away from it all, yet still only minutes from shops, restaurants, etc. in either direction (Luray or New Market). We even drove 25 minutes into Harrisonburg and had an upscale dinner. We highly recommend staying at The Little Lodge! We will be back!
