Cabin, romantic, peaceful, beautiful view

My husband and I stayed for one night (not long enough) on a quick anniversary trip. It was beautiful! The photos actually don't do the property justice...very peaceful. The accommodations were perfect and everything we needed was right there. We would love to do a longer trip soon!

If for nothing else, one should visit for Krystal’s hospitality. Had the good fortune of going through the vast farm with her. It’s an experience!! If you like serenity, don’t miss this opportunity. The cabin is pretty much self contained. I wish both Mark and Krystal every success in their endeavour.

We loved the peacefulness of the property. My husband and I were looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend getaway and we certainly got that at the Rusted Barn. The owner Kristal thought of everything! I’ve never stayed at another VRBO location that had toothbrushes and other personal care items on hand, in case we needed them! The building was beautifully decorated and I personally enjoyed the gift shop at the front of the building.! (Seriously, buy the seasonings!!) we plan on coming Gavin October for our anniversary’s and staying longer. I can’t wait to explore the farm. Thank you Kristal for making us feel so welcome!

Cabin and property were beautiful and very well cared for. We were welcomed on arrival and given a quick tour and she even had snacks and stuff for us in the cabin. They were extremely friendly including their dog lol May have to make it a yearly stay!

The cabin exceeded our expectations and was super clean. Kristal was very welcoming. The property was flat out beautiful… like the shire from Lord of the Rings. We enjoyed every bit of it with our young son. We can’t wait to come back!

It was clear the host is concerned about the experience. To many details to mention, the entire property inside and the surrounding grounds is well designed and kept neat with a clean feeling. Antiques on display, repurposed items, and fresh renovation in a farm setting make this a delightful place to stay.

The cabin is tucked down a few peaceful country roads and sits directly behind the owner’s home, with a beautiful view and some great outdoor seating options. Mark greeted me when I arrived and gave me a quick tour, and Kristal checked in a couple of times during my stay, both were incredibly kind and welcoming. The space was exactly as pictured, and the robes were so amazing I’m now trying to find one for myself!A thoughtful touch was the “help yourself” drawer with snacks, coffee, and tea. It may seem small, but it made a big impression. There is a gift shop directly connected to the kitchen area, and the door to it remains open. As someone who really values privacy, I felt a bit self-conscious walking around since the kitchen has windows that face that area. It likely wouldn’t bother most guests, but it’s worth noting for fellow introverts.All that said, the cabin was absolutely beautiful and the bed was heavenly—one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. A solid ten out of ten and the view is to die for! Oh, and Kristal left baked goods out for my arrival! A very thoughtful host.

Came here to get away for the weekend. The cabin and the property are beautiful and the hosts have thought of everything you could need. The bed is so soft and comfortable! We went for a walk on their trails and really enjoyed it. This was a great place to get away and relax! I hope to return soon! Thank you Kristal!

I can not say enough how incredibly relaxing it was here at the rusty barn. Our host was so very sweet and helpful. They live right next door, but you would never even know it. You have complete privacy !! She knew we were there for our anniversary so when we arrived there was a “Happy Anniversary” balloon with 2 incredibly delicious cupcakes waiting on us. We got in pretty late but she waited! She made sure we were okay with everything and comfortable and showed us around a bit. The shower? Amazing…took a 2 hour shower lol. The bed? I could have slept for hours and hours. I didn’t move a bit at night! Everything is just so cute and so perfect. We will most definitely be back!!!Daniel and Laura Turner Grandview, Texas

This place is perfect for a couples getaway! The property is so cozy and well-equipped with everything! Kristal is an excellent host! We will definitely go back.

The Rusty Barn is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful, peaceful and so comfy! The host contacted me the day of our arrival which was nice. Then she met us there and gave us a little tour of the place. She had candles burning and cupcakes for us since my hubby and I have the same birthday. It was so sweet. Hospitality is top notch. She also has a cute gift shop there to get some souvenirs. We can’t wait to go back!

We loved our stay at the Rusty Barn. The cabin was immaculate, and we were delighted with the special touches the host left for us. The hosts thought of everything anyone would need during their stay. If you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway, this is the place to go. We enjoyed exploring their hiking trails on their ranch and the location was perfect for us to travel to other attractions like Broken Bow, Beavers Bend State Park and the Beavers Bend Safari Park in Hochatown, OK. Great vacation and lots of good memories.
