Cabin In The Woods at Lake Tenkiller

The property is pet friendly and our dog loved all the squirrels lol. It is a very cozy cabin with an awesome deck. We got visited by a few deer. I imagine in summer while trees are thick in bloom lake might be hard to see but in the spring a great view of Tenkiller. The Host was great answered my questions and check in was so easy. Perfect for a romantic get away or even just sitting enjoying the view and quiet. Was just what my wife needed. Thanks

We came for a wedding but we enjoyed the privacy and coziness of the cabin so much we plan to stay there again. Just right for two!!

We had a most beautiful and refreshing place to talk, play, and R E S T!!! The property was always surprising us with more places to go and relax amid the flora and fauna. We actually saw a stick bug … maybe 6-7”!!! My wife was frightened, so I ushered it away, my wife was calm; and after I stopped laughing - we all went back to listening to the night. We would be honored to come back someday.The cabin is beautiful. Even the clever dog door went out to a private fenced yard area. Every where we looked was beautiful. Thank you SO much for the stay. We both (plus the dogs) got the relaxation we needed in the cutest cabin we’ve ever laid our heads down. Thanks SO much!!

It was rustic, but nice. House was very well stocked with anything you might need. The cabin was very quiet and secluded. Very close to the lake and the town of Cookson. We will stay there again.

Location was so pretty and quiet. The cabin was great and offered everything we needed. We were impressed with the cleanliness. Enjoyed watching hummingbirds and our morning visits with Tiki, one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. I'd definitely recommend to anyone needing a break!

Our daughter and her family are temporarily living with us including their 3 dogs, 2 cats (one a kitten), a turtle named Shelly and a fish named Blue. Needless to say, our house is constant noise & activity. We just recently passed our 43rd wedding anniversary and needed a getaway. This house was a blessing in so many ways. It was clean, nice and cool, had everything we needed, and we even met a new friend (yellow lab). My husband loved the antiques displayed and the beauty of the cabin and the way it was built. We loved the cabin so much, we wanted to extend our stay but could not due to it already being booked. Thx to our hosts for their hospitality. We will definitely go back.

The cabin was lovely and well stocked to meet our needs. We were a little put off by all the LED lights at night - especially right next to the bed. Not sure anything can be done about that, though. We live on a farm and enjoy darkness at night . Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

A historically rustic cabin with modern amenities that make it very comfortable. Cozy but not cramped…well appointed to make it a safe, accessible and a very enjoyable venue. Conveniently located to the lake and town but, as the name implies, tucked remotely in the woods.

Cabin was beautiful. Spacious and had all the amenities. Very peaceful and quiet. Will stay there again.

We enjoyed the peaceful cabin and its surroundings. A great area to be in for short ventures to small towns . The fall foliage was awesome and we seen about ten deer strolling through in the evening. Lots of squirrels getting ready to bed down for colder weather. Would love to come back in spring or summer. 💯 recommend.

Very clean and well stocked. Cathy had snacks, coffee pods and lots of miscellaneous items for use if needed. Super communication and simple check in. Really appreciated the album about the history of the cabin/builder and also the notebook with helpful hints 😁. The leaves and yard were beautiful this fall, with deer frequenting the front yard daily. This porch is amazing! Look forward to spending a long weekend here again.

This was a very quiet little cabin in the wood comfort and lots of history about this cabin itself. Great opportunity to sit in porch and watch the birds and animals whole relaxing. Highly recommend for a couples retreat

Everything was provided for a quiet, relaxing stay. Surrounded by nature in a cozy cabin. My husband and I are retired and we’re thrilled with the pricing and that it was pet friendly.

The cabin was perfect! Sitting on the porch enjoying the wildlife was magical. This cabin has everything you need or want and more. We will definitely return.

Absolutely quietness what I wanted

If you are looking for a place that is quiet and has a unique story....this is your place! Beautiful place!

We loved our stay in the Cabin in the Woods. The cabin was perfect for two people. It was secluded but also close to the lake. Our only complaint would be the gravel road and driveway up to the cabin. We brought our boat and if we didn’t have 4 wheel drive, it would have been a struggle or maybe not possible to get up the drive to the cabin.

Everything is just fantastic about this property. The owners attention to details in everything from welcoming you, to the cabin being stuffed with treats, soap, creams, tools, bug-spray etc. The joy of just sitting on the porch as the wildlife wakes up around you. The hummingbird feeder right in front of you adds to the joy. EVERYTHING about this stay was just spot on. The cabin is for 2 adults, nothing more. And for 2 adults it is nothing short of spectacular. Be prepared for doing nothing and simply relaxing. You have to drive to get to anything. That also means there is no noice other than the wilderness (except the occational “extra large truck with extra large mufler” in the distance.) Truely a gem, and truely fantastic service.

Relaxing visit

This cabin is beautiful, tucked away in the woods. There was a mother and two baby deer there when we arrived, as if to greet us! The decor is very rustic and cool, it's perfect for a couple. The cabin was well stocked with any supplies we needed, and there was plenty of supplies for the grill and fire pit as well. We enjoyed this stay so much, we will definitely visit again! Highly recommend 10/10!!
