Our little cabin is perfect for one or two guests for short stays while visiting local family, touring the areas wineries or nature trails, or for a clean, quiet over night stop while traveling long distances. Explore the Shawangunk Wine Trail, hike Minnewaska, sip cider at Angry Orchard, visit The Walkway Over the Hudson, or sample and shop the areas diverse farm stands and breweries. There is so much to see and do in the Hudson Valley and our cabin is close to it all!
The space
Our cabin is your own private, quiet space. It offers a warm, cozy, safe space to rest your head and mind. We have a full kitchen with stove, microwave, large fridge and freezer with ice and water dispenser, dishes, pots, pans and silverware. We also have a keurig to make your morning coffee or a cup of tea in the evening. We provide coffee, tea, creamers and sugar. You can bring groceries or pick them up on the way, and spend a cozy weekend in our cabin without really having to leave! We have everything you need onsite to cook meals, rest, relax and unwind.
We have a new, comfortable memory foam king mattress, large bathroom with shower and a cozy little chair and a half for sitting and watching tv or reading a book. We also have a small electric fireplace that can be turned on for ambiance or for heat if necessary. We do have central air and central heat in the cabin as well. Please note, we do have 4 listings , cabin 1, cabin 2, cabin 3 and cabin 4, so if you are traveling with a family or larger party, be sure to check out availability in all units!
Guest access
There are other homes on the property, as well as neighbors, so we ask that are guests be respectful of them. Peace and quiet is of utmost importance, and only the furniture and grill right next to the cabin are for guest use. Please note: the grill is shared between cabins, as well as the picnic table. Anything outside of that space is not included in the rental, and should not be used.
Other things to note
Please note that our cabins are near a major road through the Hudson Valley. At certain times of day, traffic noise can be heard in the yard. It is not intrusive, by any means, but it can be noticeable depending on time of day. We are set back from the road and surrounded by trees, but we are not a cabin in the woods. Please note that our rental rates include NYS sales tax of 8.125%. Thank you.

Very clean and appealing, well set up to accommodate dogs, great kitchen with larger appliances, very helpful host. We like everything and are going back next week.

Wonderful historic cottage in a park-like setting. We arrived late, but the lock box worked perfectly. Comfy bed, slept very well. Well appointed and spotless. We are just sorry we couldn’t stay longer! Highly recommend.

Cabin, updated, pet friendly. Clean, only issue was finding it in the dark. Could not see other units or the numbering of the units at night. Thanks to a nice neighbor she walked with us until we found which one. From then on was great. Loved the quiet, full refrigerator and stove.

Very clean, comfortable and cozy. Check-in was a breeze as well check out. Even though 9W is nearby very very minimal noise other than that, good quality sleep. AC works great. They even provide a sound machine, which my wife and I did not use since we always have our own. Full size fridge, stove, oven combo, microwave and a little fire place. We only used the fridge and microwave. There is also an outdoor grill with a picnic table which we did not use, we had other plans, maybe next time. Looking for some quick bites- snacks, i.e. chips, candy, soda even beer they sell about a mile or so down the road at Dollar General. There is a liquor store about a half mile down the road. Plenty of places to eat be a diner or a restaurant as well if you’re looking for parks to take Fido or just yourself to walk are within 15 to 20 minutes.

I have wanted to stay in one of these vintage vacation cottages for years. We happened to see this listing for an upcoming trip to West Point. I highly recommend staying here. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only slight issue was finding the driveway to property and the road noise. A sound machine was provided and it was useful. We had a great stay here.
