Cabin Getaway with Beautiful Views and Sleep with Elk

My family loved this cabin. Everything was great. We will definitely be back again.

Totally peaceful and cool weather

Great home in a small community of large properties. The lot was huge and there were several large female elk that slept in the yard every night. It’s not a fancy house, it’s a cabin. There are a couple of stairs leading up to the cabin, no ramp and it’s not wheelchair friendly. We didn’t need these things but just an fyi. It’s comfortable and has a charm that would definitely bring us back. The only things that I found lacking…I wish there were small amenities provided for those things people most often forget (toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap). Also, a posted sign of opening and closing up the cabin. One was emailed to me but it would have nice to have one printed. There was a nice book of things to do and places to eat in Pine that I thought was really nice. We had a great experience and found the owners to be extremely friendly.

This is a very private property at the of a no-outlet street. The elk come right up to the property, a whole herd at times. I took my two fur babies and the entire yard is fenced and secure. Inside the cabin is warm and rustic. There are air conditioners in every room so it is very comfortable during the heat of summer. I will definitely be back. The hosts are wonderful and responded immediately to questions.

Stay was great. Cabin had everything we needed especially multiple recliners in living room Very comfortable. Hosts Dana and Donna responded immediately to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

It was a beautiful cabin. My husband, myself and our furbabies had a very nice time. It was pretty amazing how the elk came right into the yard and the back yard as well. The host was always available and courteous. She was very sweet and accomodating. Hope to return for another visit in the future.

My girlfriend and i stayed here for a long weekend. The cabin was exactly how it looked in the pictures and the host provided very detailed instructions that were super helpful. We would definitely recommend and will be planning to visiting again soon!

We were able to get to the property about 30 minutes into the beginning of a winter storm. We enjoyed the beauty of the snowfall from inside this wonderful cabin. Great location and not too far from the valley. We also had two Elk walk through the yard. Huge fenced in back yard for dogs to explore.

Cabin is clean, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace and the afternoon visits from the Elk. We hope to visit again.

if you like vintage style thats a perfect cabin to stay, very clean quiet place and on top of it the wild nature life around!!

Perfect for the quick getaway weekend with my doggies. Backyard was fully fenced so they could roam and play in the yard and that was great. cabin was clean and as described and cozy overall great experience and will book again.

Nice cabin like home in a quiet neighborhood. The loft is pretty small. You can't stand all the way up in it. Host was nice and good at communicating and checking in. Nice place!

This was a great getaway from the heat. The dogs loved the backyard and the elk visited the yard everyday - one day we had 25 of them. Just be aware that the elk do hop the fence, so you may want to check the backyard for elk before you let your dogs out.

This was a fantastic cabin to stay at. Easy process and the host was great. I would very much stay at the property again in the future.

This was our 2nd time staying here. It is a nice plan to go to get away from the Phoenix heat. The kids love staying in the loft and having the elk come right through the yard! This time we saw 5 babies, 1 teenager & 7-8 adults come through. The owner is very responsive and friendly. Would stay again!

Very clean and cozy cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. for cooking. Huge VHS library. We loved seeing the Elk pass through the front yard in the mornings.

Our family really enjoyed the cabin. It was clean and the host was excellent at communicating. Love that it was dog friendly. The only concern was the neighbors dog is right on the other end of the chain link fence and barked a lot at our dogs when they were trying to enjoy the yard. This is no fault of the owner but I wanted to mention it in case you have a reactive dog. Otherwise the yard was very big and our dogs (and we) loved it.
