Right on the lake, can walk out on the water with it frozen so thick, great views from the living room. Close to amenities and sightseeing.

We had an excellent stay! The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Having games and access to the Grizzly Fitness Center was incredibly convenient and made our stay even more enjoyable. Haley was an amazing host, she went above and beyond to be helpful and made the whole experience seamless. We would absolutely recommend this place to everyone and would love to stay here again!

The property was very clean and quiet and it sits on a beautiful lake and we were able to sit by a campfire enjoying the Northern Lights in all its glory. Communication with the host was very easy. 5 starts all the way around.

Haley is an exceptional communicator on rental details and the house exceeded our expectations by a mile! Everything was so clean and well stocked. Our only regret on this vacation is that we didn’t stay here longer! The kayaks were a huge plus and the lake view is so peaceful. Do yourself a favor and quit looking at other rentals and book this place!

Very nice little cabin with a nice view of the lake. The only issue was the very slow and inconsistent Wi-Fi. But not a super big deal.

The location of the cabin was very easy to navigate and was in a quiet area. Haley, the host was the kindest person. Greatest communication and willingness to help when needed. The cabin itself is just outright adorable. Extremely clean and provided the basics for coffee and breakfast if needed. The bed was super comfortable and the temperature of cabin was comfortable. It felt very homey, safe and quiet. I most certainly will be looking to book with Haley again in the future and look forward to staying there again. It was absolutely worth it.

Fantastic stay. Cabin is an understatement--this cozy rental had all the amenities of home including a gas stove and laundry. We stayed in winter and the fire (thermostat controlled) was so comforting. Fantastic view of the lake. Owner was very communicative/responsive and helped us with special requests. Thank you HP we will be staying again!

Relaxing cozy, well- stocked, clean, convenient. Full size truck with extended cab is a little too big for the driveway with lots of snow :). But we did fine. Loved snowshoeing lake around islands and nearby campground - right from the cabin.

Don’t wonder, rethink or look around . Book it. You will thank yourself later

The cabin is very nice with a lovely lake view. However what the pictures does not show is the cabin is sandwiched between two big houses. With a security camera watching your cabin. I didn’t come all the way to Alaska to be in a subdivision. I have included updated photos of what it really looks like.

The cabin was beautiful, clean & fit our family perfectly. Kids enjoyed the large bunk beds and the bathrooms were beautiful and clean! Nothing beats the view of the lake and the mountains in the background. Highly recommend this property - we would definitely come back. Host was wonderful!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Haley is very nice and a great host. She answered my questions very quickly. The lake is just in front of the cabin with a beautiful view. It's located very close to Palmer and Wasilla. A wonderful place to stay. I'll be staying there the next time too.

The view of the lake and mountains was beautiful to look at while soaking up the warmth from the fireplace. It was the perfect place to stay for my husband and I. The host was very friendly with helpful advice and quick to respond.

We absolutely loved this cabin! Haley was an amazing and responsive host and the cabin came well stocked with basic items and it was a very nice temperature even in the cold with a wind storm. The view of the frozen lake and mountains is also a perk! Definitely rebooking in the future.

Amazing view and super clean!

This property is ideal for a couple wanting to have peace and quiet and then venture out for site seeing. Ideal location for north of anchorage. The accommodations were comfortable especially the bed. Had fun watching float planes take off. Haley had so many thoughtful items for us and was quite helpful helping us find her location. Would stay again in the future.

Very peaceful. Should have taken a kayak out on such a quite peaceful lake. Coffee was great even had a couple extra snacks. Haley was very kind and helpful. Excellent communication. I know where I'll stay whenever I get pack to Palmer

Amazing!!! The view from the cabin is awesome!! We could have spent our whole vacation on the patio! Haley, the owner, went so far beyond our expectations!! She is one of the kindest people we have ever met! She responded to every question that I had and gave me numerous suggestions about places to go, where to eat, and where to shop! You will not find a better place to stay!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! Haley was so easy to communicate with for directions to the property, check-in, and suggestions for fun things to do in the area. The cabin was ready when we arrived, and stocked with coffee, creamer, and other kitchen and bath essentials. We spent our time in the area taking tours to Katmai and to Hatcher's Pass. With being so busy, we extra appreciated the incredibly comfortable bed! I wish we had more time to spend out on the lake behind the cabin but that will have to wait for a return trip. We will definitely be staying here again!

This was an excellent place to stay. It was located in a beautiful quiet and safe neighborhood with a fantastic view of the lake. Haley was a great host. She provided a lot of resources in the area. The house was very clean. It had a lot of charm. I recommend staying there for two people. It is listed to sleep five, but I’m not sure how that will work.

This little cabin and the host is amazing! Everything we could have asked for. The view with my coffee in the morning was amazing!Haley was very quick at getting back to me with questions. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

This was such a jewel of a find!!! The lake views are amazing! Big yard was perfect for games and relaxing. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook with. Lots of storage. Very clean and charming. The couch pulls out to a full size bed which we perfect for two people to sleep on. The queen sized bed is comfy, best nights sleep in a long time! The place is relaxing and scenic. We are already planning our next trip here! The host was friendly, informative, great communication and very accommodating to amall requests. Highly recommend and bring a book cause the deck calls for coffee and a good read!

The cabin is fantastic as are the hosts. Location gives you the feeling of being in the woods on a lake yet you are close to both Palmer and Wasilla. We grilled burgers with family that live in Palmaer so for us the location was perfect. There were times when the loons were calling in the evening, perfect Up North addition. I could spend the whole summer in the Cabin By the Lake.

Was a perfect spot to get away on the weekend. Perfect spot for kayaking around the lake.

It was a good stay! But the listing the way the room is layed out seems like it’s two bedrooms, when in reality it’s only one bedroom and a pullout couch. A bit misleading, but we still had a good time.

Overall it was a great place. The limited time we spent in the cabin was perfect for what we needed.

This place was an amazing oasis of peace and tranquility. I appreciated all of the communication from the owners and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick or long get away. Conveniently located just a few turns from the Parks highway, it was easy to call this place our home base. Loads of bird viewing right from the lakeshore behind the house. Midnight sunset colors in the sky from the living room window will be a memory I take home with me for sure! Owner super responsive to communications. Neighborhood super quiet. Highly recommend this place!

Great location, host and hostess and beautiful views. Lots of added touches to the house and labeled light switches etc. which was really appreciated. Haley was great to communicate and shared lots of ideas for dining and places to visit. We would highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I had the extreme pleasure of renting this cozy cabin for our 15th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with everything about it. Haley the owner was very communicative and the property was just how it was described. I hope we have an opportunity to go back to Alaska so we can stay there again.

We stayed here due the location to the Grizzly Fitness Center for a basketball tournament. It was super close and perfect. Communication was excellent and the place was cozy and clean and just what we needed. Hope it's available for all the tournaments next year!

From the start Haley had amazing communication, we arrived late so her detailed directions and instructions were perfect. The home was extremely clean, warm and cozy on arrival. The whole process was seamless.The kitchen was fully stocked and ready for cooking. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Our 2nd stay. Very happy with the place. Fits what we are looking for when we come to town and visit family. Good for small families that enjoy a quiet setting in the valley.

Such a kind host, was willing to give detailed directions, sent suggestions for things to do places to eat, the place felt like home and was very quiet and safe!! We had a great time enjoying the view off the porch and watching the swans on the lake!! Hopefully she will accept us back in the summer so we can use a kayak and swim!! Beautiful place 10/10 recommend!

Haley was the best host!!! We felt so blessed and grateful to have had a chance to experience her beautiful property. Although our stay was short we found everything we needed from coffee and tea in the kitchen, to laundry detergent and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Haley was kind enough to notify us when the northern lights were out and we were able to capture some beautiful pictures. We will definitely be staying again in the future!! Thank you again Haley!
