Our Flock cabin is designed with our feathered friends in mind. This is a 486 square foot cabin with one bedroom with a queen sized bed, a living area with a full size futon for extra guests, kitchen table, and full kitchen and bathroom. This cabin has a nice porch area with beautiful views of the lake. There are two chairs, a small table, and grill on the porch. There are games and books to help you relax after a busy day exploring. There is no cable, and no TV but we do get great cell coverage. Maximum four people.

This cabin has a lake on site for your use. There is also a store on site where you can rent kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and purchase any items you may have forgot. You can also purchase a license for catch and release fishing.

Less than 2 minutes up the road is Cold Brook Reservoir where you can enjoy more lake time and lake activities.

Our cabin is conveniently located just minutes from Hot Springs. In the town of Hot Springs you can enjoy restaurants, shopping, and many attractions including Evans Plunge Mineral Spring, Moccasin Springs Mineral Spa, The Mammoth Site, Pioneer Museum, World Fossil Finder Museum and much more.

This cabin is also located 10 minutes from Wind Cave National Park and 15 minutes from Custer State Park. Both parks boast a multitude of hiking trails and outdoor activities and Wind Cave provides cave tours. The town of Custer is 45 minutes away and Mount Rushmore National Monument is an hour and forty-five minutes away.

The lake was so much fun for a daily activity and the Hot springs attractions were right around the corner. There was no TV which gave us a chance to connect and explore the beautiful scenery around. I highly recommend going to Cascade Falls. Our dogs came with us and they enjoyed their time as well. The wild turkeys were everywhere and made the stay unique. The place was clean and just as described. They had delicious coffee and great soap

We got in later on our first night, and were tempted to leave immediately and find somewhere else to stay. Our cabin was dirty: all of the mugs & dishes needed to be re-washed, the shower was covered in mildew & the previous occupants hair, and there was a ton of dust everywhere. The lake and meadow area were beautiful, but occasionally felt crowded and cluttered. There’s a ton of people who stay at this campsite at the same time. We found some time to play in the lake when it was quiet and the water was clear and warm. While we loved the lake, it isn’t worth having to clean up after the previous cabin occupants.

Cabin was as advertised. Could use some updating but worked well for what we needed. Hosts at the grounds were very nice and the little store was convenient. The kids (and us adults) loved the little lake, seeing fish & turtles in the clear water, and skipping rocks. A great location and would be fun to stop back again someday.

SD was a very memorable family vacation and this cabin was wonderful! There are so many things to do in the area, but one of our most favorite days was hanging out around the cabin and relaxing by the lake. The lake is beautiful! The cabin was perfect for our family. I only wish it was closer to home for me so I could stay there more often!

Cabin was OK and I am sure on a different weekend it would have been fine. The disappointment was the fact that there was major main street and highway construction occurring between our cabin and our family gathering south of Hot Springs. Had I been aware of the road work, I would have stayed south of town.

The property is very clean, relaxing and family friendly. It was wonderful having a site that had so many options for swimming, game playing or just to sit by the lake. The hosts were very friendly and informative. We stayed in one of the cabins and would do it again if visiting this area again. Thank You!

My family and I enjoyed our time at Hidden Lake Campground. We loved that the cabin (1) had everything we needed and the owners gifted you a small coffee pouch from the local Coffee shop Minnekahta Coffee (which we went and bought a bigger bag to take home). The owners were great and helped when we had an emergency and we arrived close to 9pm. We will stay again if we visit the Black Hills again or traveling through.

Wonderful place to stay, loved the lake. Close to the mammoth site and the town was friendly. Kids were able to swim and fish and paddle boat and canoe. Would of liked a toaster in cabin otherwise everything was great. Washing and drying machines worked good.
