We stayed in Cabin B, the lower cabin overlooking the lake, and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with beautiful woodwork and large windows that offer stunning views of the lake and surrounding property.The cabin was spotless and very well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s also conveniently located just off I-65, making it easy to get to while still feeling like a peaceful getaway.The lake itself is known as one of the cleanest in Alabama, and you can truly tell—the water is clear and inviting. We loved having a brand-new gas grill, which made it easy and fun to cook out each evening while enjoying the view.The dock was in great condition and featured a fun inflatable water trampoline. You can also rent kayaks right on the property, and the dock is perfect for fishing.Inside, the cabin has been beautifully updated with attention to detail in the woodwork, windows, cabinets, and countertops. Check-in was seamless, and the property owners were very responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with.We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked our next trip! I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic lake getaway.

The cabin by the lake was warm, comfortable, and welcoming! We enjoyed sitting on the dock, watching the water and the kids play. Great place for a family stay!

Was not able to stay, my sister is handy caped and was not able to walk the hill that was going down to the entrance. Did not know there was a hill going down to the cabin. Lost a lot of money because of it. Stayed at hotels the rest of the trip. I'm sure the cabin was fine just didn't get to experience it. And I didn't mention it to Tara and Branden couldn't get in the door either with the code. Knew I wasn't staying after the hill so I didn't mention it wasn't their fault.

Nice cabin decorated great, just not what we expected from the pictures provided.Floors were dirty, under beds there was trash and somebody’s dirty shorts.

Quiet, clean, and perfect for a quick getaway!

Tara was wonderful and the cottage is just the cutest! She was so accommodating and my family and I were incredibly pleased!

This is the 2nd tine i have stayed, and i enjoyed it so much. My 2 daughters live a few miles from there which is why i choose the location location originally, and now im hooked, and its where i try to stau everytime i drive up to see them.my girls also love it. Mrs. Tara is super nice, and communicating with her is simple and easy.i look forward to a return visit at some point this summer

Very poor stay. The property is very loud when the upstairs unit is booked (fair enough this was mentioned in the listing). However the “air conditioning” is controlled by the people renting the upstairs cabin! How can they sell it with AC when someone else sets it to heat? We had to leave due to my 3 month old baby overheating and requiring medical attention. DO NOT BOOK

The cabin is cute, clean and convenient for a lake stay. We hope to be able to return and bring our boat to do some fishing. We fished off the dock in the evening and caught a bass and had a couple of other bites. It was a great place!

Property was perfect size for us. Great view of the water. No issues with rental at all.

The location is so convenient to everything! The accomodations were fantastic! Everything was so clean and perfect for our stay! I hope it is available for our next trip!

In town to visit Stoney Lonesome and this 2 bed 1 bath lake front home was perfect! A great space to go play all day and come back to relax in the evening. Host was wonderful and responded to any questions nearly immediately. Would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the space more!

The property is nice, clean and has a great view. I was there for 3 nights very relaxing and enjoyable.

I rented the cabin for my ex-wife, youngest son and his wife, and myself. My oldest son and his family live in the area. We celebrated Christmas at the cabin. We celebrated my grandson's birthday. The cabin was perfect as our base for the visit. The home owner communicated with us and keep us informed as we prepared to travel their and after we were in the cabin! Would love to be there to enjoy the lake during the summer.

Very nice set of cabins right on the water. Clean and Easy access to fishing bring a boat and see the very big lake.

Not what I expected. Husband and myself are both 74. Upon arriving unit was not clearly marked and there was no sidewalk or railing going down a hill to the lower level of a cabin that was a duplex. Also didn’t expect to have children running and thumping upstairs all day and at 6 in the morning.. not sure if they were tenants or visiting like us. Was a great view of the lake. Floors were dirty. There was only 1 coffee cup and drinking glasses were on top shelf out of my reach. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. . Could be a great unit but is lacking in a lot of comfort and safety aspects

Everything was very nice, aside from the fact that there's no thermostat in the cabin. The temp is controlled by the cabin above. Not a big problem for me, but if you like it warm, and the people above like it cold (or vice versa), you might be a bit uncomfortable at times. Night one, no one was above me and it was much colder than I would have liked that night. Night 2, someone was up there and kicked on the heater and was very very warm all night....Shouldn't be a problem for most people, but it could for some not having control of the temp. This IS noted by the host already, but I just wanted to give my opinion on it also.

Beautiful cabin right on the water! We enjoyed our stay so much!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We had friends that had rented the upper cabin so sharing the space was not an issue. The cabin supplied all of our needs during our stay. The only downfall was not having a washer and dryer on site, so I recommend bringing plenty of extra towels if you are staying for an extended period of time. The lake was absolutely beautiful! The water was very deep and clear, which made it great for the kids jumping from the pier. The walk down to the lake was fairly easy, but coming back up may be a little more difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, it was a great little place to stay!

Very peaceful and quiet hideway. The cabin was perfect for a place to get away. Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The cabin was very comfortable. Just the right distance from the city but close enough too. Highly recommend. And the host was very helpful.

Relaxation on the water. Met up with family from different parts of the country. Swim every afternoon, sit on the dock and just relax. Grandkids loved it. Hiked local waterfalls, such an amazing time.
