The cabin was clean and the porch was great to view the beautiful mountains.
The cabin was beautifully situated in a tailored location with a lodge that was not available while we were present. There were no cooking facilities except a microwave and refrigerator, and we had brought primarily food that needed cooking or at least a bowl for mixing salads. The light from a nearby structure shown in our bedroom window and provided so much light that I could not see the stars as I had anticipated. The cabin was very clean, and had a foldup cot for my son which we couldn't find at first and didn't find the extra blankets until we were ready to leave. I feel better instructions could have been given earlier in the emails as to the availability of cooking facilities. These were given eventually but not in time to make adjustments. Since the Lodge was closed, we had no near sources for food or even to buy a can opener. Directions in the cabin regarding the location of the cot and blankets would have been helpful. I had mistakenly confused Sawtooth Lodge where my family had many wonderful memories with South Fork Lodge-30 miles difference -my mistake which increased my disappointment.
Loved the Mountain View’s and walking along the Payette River. Cabin was clean. We enjoyed going to Kirkham Springs that was just down the road. This would make a great destination place for an event. Just remember to bri g some food as there are not any grocery stores nearby.
The cabin was clean. The property was beautiful. Friendly workers. I was surprised at the lack of nearby stores but after being there, that was one of the things I liked best! Very quiet and relaxing. Would recommend!! This would be great for a destination event!
