A nice, quiet, and clean mini cabin. Hosts were wonderful! Very quick to respond. Would definitely stay there again!

The place is really compact but nicely done. The heating unit is in the loft, and so is much of the heat. I would hate to be sleeping up there. There’s no range in the house, so you have to use the grill, which is in serious need of repairs. The tv is practically unwatchable except by the person sitting on the end of the sofa. Some small folding chairs to sit in inside might help. Otherwise, the owners have thought of just about everything you might need. Not sure we would stay here again, give the cost versus a good motel room with breakfast provided, but no regrets at all for this trip. BTW, it’s an easy drive to Clemson, even on a game day.

The pet fee was not listed on the web page and was not made known until a confirmation email. Not exuberant and typical of most places but still should be presented in original price. There is a whole in the fence out back where a neighboring dog kept coming over. If your dogs are friendly it will be okay but your own pet could potentially follow them back out of the yard as well. Beautiful well designed property. Grills and set up is amazing. Perfect place for a group or reunion. Great for a private getaway as long as the cabin located 10 to 20 yards away is not occupied. If so you will have to share grill common area.

Deanna is an outstanding host. She was lighting quick to respond to any inquiries both ahead of and during our stay, and the accommodations were excellent. Couldn’t ask for a better home base while in town to fish. She seems to vet her guests well too, our neighbors were awesome. Will certainly book again!

Beautiful and clean cabin and wonderful scenery!

Fantastic stay. Came just as expected. The fire pit was an unexpected surprise along with the supply of wood. The outdoor kitchen area is very cool. You may want to consider a new lock on the boat storage. The boat storage was super convenient as well as the proximity of the boat ramp. I will stay again

We had a wonderful stay, this cozy cabin was perfect for two adults and two teenagers. We loved the outside area and there were no mosquitos!!

The pair of cabins was great for us traveling with another family and having a central place to hang out!

Myself uncle and cousin did fishing trip . Cabin very close to boat ramp . Property owners very friendly and helpful . Place to lock boat and charge boat nightly out of weather and secure . Will definitely stay here again ! Deanna and Don were great hosts !

Perfect set up for fisherman. Very clean and neat property. Just up the street from a boat ramp. The covered boat and truck parking is a major plus.

Booked this cabin for my son and 3 of his College Fishing teammates. They had a great one night stay for their tournament. My son said the parking was great for their boats. They were able to rig rods under lights and felt safe. The cabin was clean and exactly as described.

This was the best little get away trip for me and my sister in law. The cabin was clean, quiet and just perfect. Great communication with the owners can’t wait to book it again!

Great setup with everything you would need to enjoy the lake

Our family rented two of the castaway cabins for a weeklong vacation on hartwell lake. Although one of the cabins had an issue prior to our arrival, Deanna was proactive to reach out and let us know and moved us to another cabin just a short walk from the other cabin. We enjoyed cooking outside with the well-equipped outdoor kitchen. It has everything you need. We spent our evenings around the fire pit while the grandkids made s’mores. The onsite boat storage and short commute to the boat ramp was awesome! We will definitely book again!
