Stayed Jul 27, 2023It’s a really beautiful place! We loved our time there and will most definitely come back. Cynthia was really great to work with, helped with all our questions beforehand, while we were there and so quick replying when we had questions. The water was amazing. Deep, so just plan for that if you have little kids. All of our crew LOVED it!! We got to relax so much and enjoy the clean beautiful water without any crowds.

Stayed Jun 23, 2023My husband and I looked for a beautiful place to stay and we were not disappointed. The Riv superseded our expectations!!! Cynthia checked us in and helped us fill up our tubes and was the sweetest lady ever. She made the stay even better. The place was beautiful and everything you could ever imagine was already there for you to use and take advantage of. The security was awesome and it felt as if we were in another world. I would recommend this place for a family gathering or wedding venue for sure. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon! Thank you for everything!!!!

Stayed Jul 22, 2022This resort has beautiful grounds and amenities. Our cabin was nice and comfortable. The only negatives are the poor wifi service, and the shared docks/river access points get congested. The river is quite deep so not ideal for young kids to just play. There are few spots that are less than 6 ft deep. The scenery is beautiful, and we were able to tour the larger lodges that were vacant at the time- those are phenomenal for larger families or multiple couples to share.

Stayed May 25, 2022We could not find a hotel in Uvalde the week before Memorial weekend. We are a incident management team supporting the local government. This owner worked with us to make sure we had a place to rest our heads after a long day.

Everything about this place was beyond perfect, the beauty, the cabins, the staff! This was our 2nd year and can not wait to come back again! You guys we amazing thank you!!

Stayed Jul 12, 2020We had a good and relaxing trip. Other than a few inconveniences like less that satisfactory cookware and spotty internet, everything was wonderful. I did find having to rent a pavilion to be a shock as I didn’t see it in the listing (but could have missed it) but well worth the money. As this property grows over time, I hope they add more river access points. We will be back. Our kids had a great time!
