Butterfly Crossing | Private Lake, Hot Tub

The cabin is in a very peaceful location with beautiful grounds and a well maintained pond. The cabin itself was immaculate and had everything we could want, including a very nice hot tub. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful relaxing location close to Hocking Hills Parks, but away from hustle and bustle in the middle of nature.

Very nice place / property.

Outside was beautiful. Secluded and nice quote setting. Loved the pond. We left a day early, to go on get back home. Please look into getting floors repaired and mopping. I know it’s hard when dogs are there. Front and rear doors are a pain to shut and need adjusted. Other than this not too bad of a stay. Thank you.

We loved how private it was and the beautiful pond.and all the grounds. The inside was also so cozy and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as everything else. We actually ended up saying in the first night just because we wanted to enjoy the cabin. We definitely plan on coming back.

We had an amazing time. The cabin was so cozy and clean and the hot tub was wonderful that we ended up just staying in the first night to enjoy it !! The grounds were great and we walked around the pond everyday. Cant wait to go again.

The cabin is peaceful and tucked away from everything else. The lake view from the window and porch is beautiful. The dogs loved being able to run in the field behind the cabin. The hot tub was one of our favorite parts. The only thing I didn't like about this cabin was the bathroom. The toilet area is very narrow, but my man and I are both broad people. One thing I would recommend to the facility is to add more signs to this cabin from 50. The turn off is hard to see.

Very cute and quaint in a beautiful, easy to get to location. Great for a couples getaway. Local market store and a restaurant or two within a couple of miles. I would say bring extra blankets especially in the colder months if you like to curl up in the couch. They were also fighting a lady beetle invasion through no fault of the owners. My wife and I had a wonderful time and would definitely do it again!

It had a 2nd floor, with what appeared to be a ping pong table and other games, but no way to get up there.

Hot tub was clean very nice. The cabin itself surface cleaning was pretty good. Found candy wrappers on the floor.Windows need cleaning.But what we used it for was perfect.

I didn't want to share the area or have people walking by my cabin a few feet away as happened. The listing made it sound like I'd have the whole area to myself. The listing said offers a serene escape on 54 acres of pristine nature. Enjoy the tranquility of your private lake and explore the expansive, wooded grounds right outside your door. Ideal for a peaceful retreat or cozy getaway. I suggest that the owner create fence or shrub barriers between Butterfly and Firefly cabins on both sides of the pond and driveway. Everything was clean and a lot of investment in providing modern amenities. Could have used a few more items, like a shelf or cabinet in the bathroom, coat hooks on doors and at entrances, end table with lamp (or small coffee table) in living room.

The cabin was wonderful. Perfect for our getaway. Having the pond right outside was great. We booked specifically for this. I had wonderful time fishing. The only negative is the listing map shows the Cabin in Logan rather than mcarther. Drive time to Hocking Hills sights is roughly the same, other than attractions in Logan. Will definitely stay again

We had a wonderful stay at Butterfly Crossing! The cabin was very clean and cute, and it fit us and our two dogs perfectly. The gardens and pond were well maintained and absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway, and I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Hocking Hills.

It was clean and welcoming once inside. The front and back porch needed to be swept off. It has not been done in awhile. I know the leaves are starting to fall but these leaves were really dried out. The leaves make it look sort neglected and it isn't at all. Would book again for a longer stay. Oven could be cleaned too.

It’s a nice, clean cottage. The bed is very comfortable. Hot tub was so relaxing.

Property and privacy was great with the dogs. Cabin can use some updating and septic/bathroom had a smell to it. Windows were very dirty. Flooring was old and very worn in areas. A bit disappointing for the overall price.

Everything was just as described with no surprises! Check in was a breeze and the property was quaint and quiet. Love the pond and definitely has some good fishing! It was a perfect getaway to unwind from city life for a few days. Hocking hills is no more than 30 minutes away, mostly due to the winding roads to get there. Town (McArthur) is 5 minutes away with some gas stations and a local market, in case you forgot to bring anything with you. Will certainly be back to this location!

Nice little getaway cabin.

The cabin and grounds are very peaceful. The cabin was very clean and had pretty much all we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking out at the pond and wildlife.

We love the cabin being far from the road and just out in the woods. The pond has always been a great feature to enjoy. The location is quiet and relaxing and a great place to just sit and listen to nature.

Cabin was perfect for 2 people, only complaint is the description of “things to do near by” needs to be updated. Places listed at a couple minute drive are actually a half hour out from the cabin. Definitely will book again.

Perfect little cabin in the woods!!! The property is amazing..Fishing at the pond was awesome..We hooked 25 blue gill 1 catfish and 1 turtle!!The flower garden is amazing..We will definitely be back to this cabin again!!

Stayed for a long weekend, loved every second of it. Lots to do. Only recommendation is wish the hot tub was cleaner. Will be back!

Cabin was fine. Back porch and hot tub was horrible hot tub was not clean and green moss all over deck and stairs to hot tub. It was like being on a ice skating trip. Fell and was injured. Ruined the rest of my trip.

I know that it is early in the year, and it has rained a lot lately. The property does need to be mowed and weed eated, the hot tub needs to be upgraded, i notice leaking pipes, mold and mildew on the back porch. And you can tell that it's been a long time since they painted the outsider power washed the cabin.

Exceptional value, quiet and secluded. Wildlife, relaxing. A place to where you can excape reality while sitting on the porch, listening to the birds, with the warmth of the morning sun and gentle breeze.

This property was so peaceful and serene. The pond was nice just to hear the frogs and birds flying by. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after hiking in Hocking Hills. This getaway was exactly what we needed. Fresh air and peace and quiet.

We loved our stay at the Butterfly Crossing and we plan to make this a regular trip 🥰 The cabin was very clean, and fully stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. The hot tub was warm and clean. The private pond was wonderful, I caught one fish. We were hoping to catch more, but understand it was because of the time of year The cabin was very secluded and it was easy to find with the GPS. We were roughly about 30 minutes from Hocking Hills, and the caves, and about 40 minutes away from the shopping mall and flea market. We will definitely be coming back when it is warmer

It was a great get a way

Very cozy upon arrival! It was cold and snowing out when i got there. They had the fire going when i walked in and it was so welcoming. I needed some time to relax and get away. Butterly cabin did the trick!

Comfortable and quaint

Nice setting in the woods and private. We also had great weather. We did not originally book this cabin but was told before our date that the cabin we booked was no longer available for us and that we were being upgraded to a nicer new or remodeled cabin.

Just what we needed. Nothin fancy, but just what the dr. Ordered

Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed to cook any meal. Grill provided was useful. Wifi worked well. Jacuzzi was nice.

The fishing was great and the tranquility was phenomenal.
