Exactly what I what I was looking for, the R & R posted above the fireplace lived up to its meaning! Had a great getaway in this awesome, cozy cabin with stunning mountain views and a warm and welcoming community in beautiful Chama, NM, highly recommend!

We had a good stay overall. The home was comfortable and the location was convenient. We appreciated they didn’t charge for each pet, as many stays do. The hosts were responsive and helpful whenever we needed to reach out. One thing to note, while there were two propane tanks for the grill, neither was full. And it appears the bottom of the grill had fallen out.Yard was large, not fenced if that matters for your pets! Aside from the grill, everything was as expected and we had a pleasant visit.

Enjoyed staying at the Buffalo Run cabin. Access to Chama and the Cumbres train depot is less than 10 minutes. Clean. Saw several deer around the cabin area in early mornings. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you need. General things like salt, pepper spices and pan spray ,/ olive oil were available for use. The host allowed us to stay an extra day added on to our original dates. Host was very responsive to any text or calls we made for things we may have wanted to know. Fantastic host. Would definitely stay again uf in the area.

Buffalo Run Cabin is a VRBO that truly reflects the photos you see online. It’s impressive and comfy, with everything you need for a great escape. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evening, watching the hummingbirds vie for position on the feeder that we’d filled. In the morning, 3 bucks roamed behind the cabin. This cabin is especially wonderful for people who love the outdoors. As a retired wildlife biologist, I certainly fit into that category.

Nice, quiet spot with lovely views from front and back porches. Great communication from the hosts, easy check in and out. Located 2 minutes from Chama, and 2 minutes from the Log River Ranch wedding venue, so great location for our stay. A little worn, but comfortable overall. We'd stay again.

The Buffalo Run cabin in Chama New Mexico was the perfect getaway for the family. The location was easy to find and access and was only a short drive from town. The Chama location provided easy access to northern New Mexico, along with quick access to Pagosa Springs, Creede, and Durango in southern Colorado. Great fishing opportunties near by, along with restaurants, grocery store, gas station, and the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railway made for a great family getaway.

The Buffalo Run cabin was spacious, cozy, and clean. The views from the front and back were spectacular. There were a lot of deer roaming the property. Thank you to Austin & Karlee Phippen for making our stay perfect!

The accommodations were great but there was a slight odor upon arrival that lingered throughout our stay but aside from that it was very nice.
