I was able to pull friends from across the country for this stay in Chama to hunt elk in CO. Austin was fantastic and very easy to contact and provided valuable insight to the local area. I will definitely be booking again.
We loved the house and will stay again!
Great property. Clean, comfortable and in a good location.
Nice
We took our annual trip to the mountains. Grandkids were in awe of the spaciousness. Sent pictures to their friends and they were all jealous of the beautiful cabin. All made memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks again.
We loved this cabin! There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. The place was clean and in a great location. We loved the log cabin vibe!
This property was so enjoyable and peaceful. They had games to play with for the grandchildren and lots of space to ride bikes. Nice place to take walks and close to stream for fishing. We are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful weekend.
Such a beautiful place. Woke up to deer again. Geese chasing my dog. What a beautiful place inside and out. Very peaceful too! Austin is such a wonderful manager, very attentive to our needs. This place won't disappoint!
A very comfortable cabin for six adults who are related. Easy access to Chama and surrounding area. Property manager very attentive to any problems and very knowledgeable about the Chama region. Would return to this cabin again.
I just love staying in Chama, it's so quiet and calm. The Phippens are so wonderful, they know how to host and they have such a wonderful property. I can hardly wait to come here again and again! This trip was our 2nd time up. We spent double the time and it was just heavenly! Thank you Phippens for everything!
Overall experience was amazing. The property was very good nice, the scenery and wildlife were icing on the cake.
Great cabin/house, clean and well decorated in a quiet neighborhood. Nicely supplied with household items for an extended stay. Layout of the house is well suited for 2 couples traveling together with full baths upstairs and downstairs. Would definitely recommend the property for couples and families needing to be close to town( Chama). Walter H.
Everything about the property was easy and the home was very nice. We were in town to ride the Cumbres & Toltec Train and it was a short drive to the depot. There is also a grocery store a few minutes away that was well stocked which made getting our groceries a breeze.
This property was exactly as described and absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful anniversary celebration and will be back! Great hosts!
Home was wonderful. Austin was great to work with and very helpful.
The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a beer lid under the couch and we replaced a few light bulbs that were burned out. The cleaning crew should've taken care of this in our opinion. The dumpster was overflowing when we arrived. All in all, though, we had a great time!
This property is clean and gorgeous! Can't tell dogs are allowed and no smoke smell! Such a treat to stay here and the location is fantastic. We all enjoyed every minute of this place. The owners are fantastic as well, very prompt in response. We will be back for sure!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Loved the beautiful mountain views, sounds of nature and seeing the deer/elk around the cabin everyday. My 11 year old son was sad to leave and my 5 year old granddaughter keeps asking when we are going to rent the cabin again. Host was very responsive and friendly. Cabin was very cozy and clean. Will definitely recommend and we will be back again.
Property was as described. Well maintained and great location. Host very responsive to any questions. Would definitely recommend stayimg at this property.
