Stayed Jun 21, 2026the property was terrible, it had a musty dirty smell, only 2 clean towels. there was an abundance of dog hair on one of the beds. there was no hair dryer, and onions growing in the kitchen. We could not log into WIFI, and there was a number of dead bugs on one window seal. the cabin was not cleaned before our arrival. We contacted the host at 9 am the following morning, which he did not correct any of the problems. There was dirty washcloths in the upstairs bathroom and what I can only imagine bags of dirty linen in the bedroom closet. To say the least I am very disappointed with the host and Virbo.

Stayed Apr 16, 2026Rundown property! Stairs to walk up to property need to be replaced. Two lower ones are in really need of being replaced. Very dangerous. The 3 of us staying are 50 or less years old. Very fit and slim. We were having issues with it! There is only one chair in front porch. We paid enough to expect the basics. Chairs or benches outside on front porch. The place is bog but very run down

Stayed Mar 20, 2025The property was clean and as described. 4 full beds is nice for my family if 5. Owner was quick to respond, manager was once his cell was shared. Had an issue with the fridge not working and they were quick to make it right but it was cold outside so it wasn’t necessary. Just want to make sure it gets fixed for the next person.

Stayed Feb 13, 2025Great location, we were able to walk over to Brule to ski. Beds were small but comfortable, which is the most important. We enjoyed the sauna, fireplace and view of the ski hill.Overall it was clean, needs a little more detail cleaning, edge vacuuming.

Stayed Dec 30, 2024Property is old and very worn, location is fantastic and that’s why we chose it. On arrival, we discovered the doors weren’t numbered, so there was a lot of confusion when the other renters arrived before we did and chose the wrong side. Property manager was easy to work with and pretty prompt with responses. Never figured out the heat completely and had issues with the toaster, stove, and coffee maker - they worked, but not well. Everything inside the rental needs to be replaced, but it was adequate for our 2-day stay. Don’t choose this property if you’ve never been to deer camp before! We will find something more comfortable for future trips, even if it’s a bit further from the Hill.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Awesome close up views of Ski Brule Mountain from the deck and front windows. Tall rock fireplace that kept the chalet warm and cozy. Two bedrooms and the loft with more beds offered plenty of room for the whole family to stretch out. Everything you need is provided, right down to a pizza cutter. Besides the recreational opportunities offered right across the street at Ski Brule, we learned there is a ton of year round fun things to do in the area. Even just hiking through the quaint village st Ski Brule and the woods around was beautiful. We also discovered a shrine to the Mother Mary with two angels nestled in some beautiful moss rock outcroppings in the side yard of the property. This was a bonus for us at the start of Holy Week.We do stay in a number of vacation rentals during the year and we will be back here again this summer. There is something very special about this place, the setting, combined with the vintage chalet was perfect.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved this chalet, the location and area are perfect for outdoor adventure year round. Even with our kids, this chalet is an easy walk to the ski lift at Ski Brule Mountain. We plan to stay here again for our summer vacation so we can explore the many near by lakes and waterfalls. Communication with our host was great. The beds and furniture were cozy and comfortable. We found the place clean and tidy. There was even a sweet welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived. Our best recommendation!
