Broken Spoke is a great cabin with an awesome View

Great stay!

Enjoyed Mothers Day weekend getaway. Easy to find the cabin. Communication with host was outstanding. Huge jacuzzi tub in downstairs master. Amazing views. Will def book this cabin again.

This cabin is not worth the money whatsoever. The hot tub did not work for 3 days and took a day to finally get a tech out to fix it, they had us trying to work on it and even asked us to pull the power from the breaker which when we did sparked electricity (realized after how dangerous that was). Also we all got a bacterial infection from the hot tub which means they are not keeping the chemicals at the right level, absolutely disgusting with a rash all over our torsos and itching like crazy. Also there was black mold all along the shower door. This cabin is way over rated and disgusting. Also foul smell from septic tank was present every day and night in the downstairs hangout room and going up and down the stairs. Just gross and absolutely not worth the money. Would not ever stay here again and do not recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at broken, spoke. It was a a wonderful to spend my 60th as well as our 20th wedding anniversary Thank you, Melissa and Walt for your responsiveness. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely.

The host was wonderful, and the cabin was beautiful and well furnished. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Broken Spoke was not a disappointment. Every thing about our stay was met and then some. Location to restaurants, attractions for the family and a beautiful mountain view were just a few of the amenities that we loved. The cabin was tastefully decorated with western decor throughout which made for a comfortable, relaxed environment. We really enjoyed this cabin and the view is beautiful! Our kids loved the air hockey, pool table, and hot tub. The cabin was also very clean. We would give this cabin 5 stars

The mini fridge smelled like sulfur and stunk up the whole cabin upon arrival and we did not even use it. The shower ran out of hot water after two people shower and takes forever to heat back up so more then two people cannot shower. The shower curtain has mold growing on it. It is also was super dusty on the blinds and in a lot of other places. The stove also needs cleaned out. In other words the cabin could use a good deep clean before renting to people… It did have a good view but if you’re not staying downstairs you can only see it out the window because there is only one balcony.

The views are amazing! The host was very responsive and sent a check list of things to bring which was nice. The cabin was clean and not far from everything. Definitely would stay here again.

We found the cabin to be very comfortable. The views are absolutely breathtaking….we spent most evenings in the hot tub looking out at the mountains. Had a few run ins with the neighborhood bears which was very cool! Everything in the cabin was clean and to our liking. The drive up is on a paved road but it is very steep and high above the tree line so you may want to be aware if you have issues with heights. The pool is at the very top of the mountain with great views! The pool could’ve been cleaner but it was fine for the couple times we used it. We preferred to keep the hot tub temp lower and spend time there at the end of our sightseeing days. We could do with Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but Townsend is a short drive and much quieter and not a “cheesy” tourist trap like the other towns. We hope to be back someday !

Very nice decorations, awesome views.. but the place was dusty, The shower curtains have mold, coffee maker was dirty and they don’t provide shampoo or body wash.

Gorgeous views, perfect setup for family.

My husband, two boys (ages 5 and 10), and I recently stayed here and it was fantastic. This was our second trip to the Smokeys and this trip was definitely better than the first. The view from the cabin is breathtaking! The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed playing pool and relaxing in the hotub. It's a short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed some great hikes while we were there. The kids really enjoyed the pool. Highly recommend staying here!

The view is amazing, lovely and exactly what you hope for. The balcony needs a new paint job, paint was pealing off onto us.Things that I think were missing that have been in every other cabin we have stayed in Towels in the kitchen, a hair dryer, playing cards and board games, arcade gaming machine with multiple games on it. The cabin is exactly what they listed, I think they are missing the little extra things.

It was a beautiful cabin with lots of room. We had everything we needed as if we were at home. The hot tub with the mountains in the background was impressive. We enjoyed the pool table. It was far enough out of town to not hear the car traffic but close enough to town to do fun stuff witout breaking the bank on gas for the vehicle.

This cabin was absolutely stunning and its proximity to the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge was very convenient. The views off the back deck were stellar and I took dozens of photos. We noticed an issue with the thermostat late one day and Walt, the property manager, was very responsive and had the issue fixed the next day. Lots of great restaurants in the area (we highly recommend Junction 35) and a wide variety of attractions. We had an absolutely terrific time and would definitely stay in this cabin again.

Beautiful views, right close to the arts district, would've been a perfect stay but a neighbor dog was barking constantly so it made it hard to sit outside and unwind.

The views were beautiful, and it was nice to wake up and drink coffee on the porch. We had dinner there our first night intown and the kitchen sink was slow but didn't mind to much but the whole time we were there, morning and throughout the whole night there was a dog barking non stop, it was extremely hard to unwind when it was constant. Lots of room on the inside of the cabin and the dining room table allows you to enjoy the view with breakfast, seen cardinals in the mornings. We didn't realize how close you are to your neighbors, but only time you noticed was when you were on the porch. It's right close to the arts district, we found some unique pottery and some delicious coffee. We are grateful for the stay and always love visiting.

It was a nice location , house every thing was great

We were very comfortable and relaxed at our stay. The property was very spacious. The pool and clubhouse were not open for our spring break stay. The hot tub filter was missing and the tub was dirty. We did find the filter on the porch but we are not knowledgable about the assembly or maintenance of a hot tub. Our teens loved the pool table and air hockey table. It was a million dollar deck view that we really enjoyed. It did rain during our stay and we could still use the lower covered deck.

Perfect getaway cabin

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Broken Spoke Cabin, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The Broken Spoke was the perfect place for our family vacation. Very spacious for all six of us and centrally located to everything!

This company (specifically Walt) was incredible accommodating and provided support for unexpected circumstances! We will be staying here again for sure.

View is great, location is close enough to everything but when you’re charged for cleaning and it has a musty smell it’s kind of disappointing. Cabinets feel greasy and cobwebs everywhere. Needs a good deep clean.. would rate 5 stars if it was cleaner.

Our family of 5 stayed at Broken Spoke Cabin between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The cabin was exactly as advertised and location was perfect! We were very pleased with the cabin layout and highly recommend staying there if coming to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!

Spent Thanksgiving week here. The views from the cabin are spectacular! Some of the best we’ve seen.

This was the best cabin we have stayed in! The cabin location was great, the drive up was easy, the cabin was clean and cozy and the view was amazing. Will definitely stay again!

The property offers a fantastic view and a convenient location near local events, although it could benefit from a thorough cleaning. Cobwebs were present both outside and inside, and maintenance issues like a clogged bathroom sink and a leaking kitchen sink were noted (although the clog was quickly fixed). The large windows facing the mountains would also benefit from an exterior cleaning to enhance the view.
