Brian Head 'View-Topia' w/ Mtn Views & King Suite

Beautiful area and lovely home, but some small maintenance issues needed. Host easy to contact and communicate with.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was really kid friendly. Lots of stairs though and the baby gates weren’t really reliable so maybe not great for babies. The view is beautiful though and there are lots of beds and places to sleep and hang out. They had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Honestly my biggest complaint is that the listing is misleading. The pictures don’t completely match the house and some of the particulars and colors of the house are older and more worn than the pictures made it look. Also, my kids were really disappointed that there is not actually a hot tub. The “hot tub” in the listing is just a jetted tub in the master bathroom.

We stayed here with another family, a total of 9 (7 adults and 2 kids). The layout was great, especially for the kids. They loved the bottom level with the bean bags and tv. The kitchen and large dining table was nice, it fit all of us and more! The views were awesome, and just a short and easy drive to Giant Steps since Navajo was closed. Our family would stay here again!

The cabin is beautiful, better than pictured - gorgeous views from almost every window, and TONS of space. The rooms are spacious and there was plenty of room for kids to play upstairs (or downstairs) while the parents enjoyed conversations by the fireplace. Proximity to the mountain was also a huge plus, being just 3-4 minutes away (driving). Our friends rented the cabin next door which made for super fun afternoons sledding on the hill that connected our cabins. We did experience a few issues related to cleaning upon check-in, but the host was very responsive and kind, and took great care to resolve the issues. Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the space. If you’re looking for a cozy, winter getaway, this is the cabin!

Beautiful house. Great location

The cabin was very poorly maintained. Mouse droppings everywhere in the kitchen drawers, bedrooms and bathrooms. The view is excellent but the windows very dirty. I had to spend half day to clean and sanitize in order to enjoy my vacation.

The property was a in a good location and had lots of space. It would been perfect if the place was actually cleaned and maintenance was completed prior to our check in. I think the place was not used for a while and the Owner rented it to us without visiting it or cleaning it. It was evident nobody cleaned as mice poop was all over the kitchen including the counters, window sills, drawers, cabinets and mixed in with the utensils, plates and pots and pans. It was also in the master bedroom dresser drawer and all over the extra blankets, sheets and pillow. There was hair in the sink and cobwebs in the shower. There were also a lot of general maintenance issues. Due to these issues, we spent a lot of time outside of the cabin including eating out. The Property Manager did come up one day and clean some dishes and vacumn some of the poop. However, it was still all over the place including the counter, drawers and bedroom. I tried to resolve the issue with the Owner but they refused. They offered a small incentive. I have now contacted VRBO for a solution. Due to all these issues, one kids slept in the master bed with me and my wife while the other kids slept on the bean bag. This is a nice cabin and it would have been fine if they just visited the property and sanitized/cleaned it prior to renting it. My wife does not want to stay in a VRBO anymore given there are no sanitary and safety laws like hotels have to follow. I really hope the Owner reviews this and fixes this issue.

Very welcoming property. It had everything my family needed for a short getaway in the beautiful Utah mountains.Check in was was hassle free, and kitchen was stocked with all cooking essentials.

Crappy property manager and cleaners. The cabin itself was nice, but it was not cleaned very well. I don't think it had been vacuumed. It needs deeply cleaned. Lightbulbs were out throughout the house. Most disappointing was when we used the oven both times the smell of propane was strong. I contacted VACASA because I was concerned about safety. They said someone would come out. NO ONE EVER CAME OR EVEN CALLED!!!! YIKES!!!

When we arrived the place was filthy - we spent over 3 hours cleaning before our family arrived. We also picked up 2 large garbage bags of trash outside the unit. The dishwasher needed to be emptied and the dryer was full of towels. The beds and bedding are old and should be replaced. The blinds are mostly broken. Windows and glass shower doors were flithy. Stairs coming into house need to be replaced..

House was so dirty, Floors had not been swept or vacuumed, all furniture was dusty, carpets were so dirty, sticky, and stained. Dish washer was full of dishes, the refrigerator was dirty, the oven was dirty, soap in bathrooms was watered down so much it was practically water inside the soap dispensers. Towels were all stuffed and still wet inside the dryer.

Poorly kept up, dated and dirty.

There needs to be an overhaul of your company and how you manage your homes. We had issues checking in to our home and did not get a response for 2 days asking if we even got in. Not knowing if we checked in for 2 days, is a major issue. There were also questions sent to the property manager and Vacasa that were never answered. Not a great experience for someone staying at these homes. For the home, the views were great and the closeness to the slopes was great, but everything from the customer service, the terrible beds, old furniture, and broken appliances, was severely below par. I own vacation rentals and I would never have customer service or an old outdated home as something in my portfolio.

Pros- the views of the mountain are breathtaking. The 3rd floor is comfortable and cozyResponsive management teamCons-The bottom floor is 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house. The ancient space heater was not sufficient enough to heat the large space. Far too cold for anyone in our party to sleep in given the thin blankets on the beds. So that eliminated beds for 5 people. We all had to sleep on the top floor couches and beanbag. Claims to have a “game room” but there are no games. The downstairs bedroom is incredibly noisy from the heater turning on and off. No working toastersOnly 3 very thin dish towels and one roll of paper towels provided. One additional roll was provided the next day when requestedDishwasher not screwed in and kept falling out of the space.Not a 2 minute walk to the slopes as stated in the description. You have to drive to get to the resort. Carpets are very dirty and stained. Mysterious bites appeared on my neck which I suspect are from bed bugs though I cannot confirm. My 7 year old had 2 small bugs in her hair. The cabin is seriously lacking in games, sleds, things for kids, etc- all the things that make a stay feel homey. Not enough extra blankets or pillows. I could only find 2 extra pillows without pillowcases that were super stained. All the pillows are super old and flat. Bottom line- not worth the high price we paid for the peak time we stayed.

When we arrived the door key pad was broken . Had to get access to the actual key for the home . Home could had been a bit cleaner. Bed in the master wasn’t so comfortable. This is a three story home with lots of space. We really enjoyed that each of us was able to have a floor to ourselves. Overall our stay was nice everyone enjoyed the views. .
