Breath of heaven was everything we hoped for! The cabin was spacious and cozy. The property is beautiful, private, and serene. The kitchen is well equipped, and the grill is great too. We especially enjoyed fires in the gorgeous fireplace every evening of our stay. Our dog Dixie joined us on the trip, and we loved the fenced in back yard, but also appreciated the large side/ front yard where she could run off some energy. The property is just a short drive away from all the popular hiking trails. We also got a great pizza from Pizza Crossing in Logan one evening. Pizza connoisseur approved! Thanks for hosting us, and sharing this peaceful little retreat! We will be back!

We had a truly relaxing and invigorating stay in this lovely cabin. The entire property is clearly well maintained and has nice touches throughout, showing the owners take care to make your visit special. The hot tub eased our muscles in the evenings after day hikes in the surrounding attractions. We would definitely come again.

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Used the indoor fireplace 2 of the 3 nights. (Would be nice if there was fire wood for at least one fire on arrival.) Porches/decks were great -- unfortunately all the cushions were soaked when we got there and didn't really dry completely. The wood chairs on the covered front porch were used instead. The large leather couch inside was comfortable, as were the beds. One person in our party used the hot tub once and found it clean but a bit isolated under the side deck. The pond was picturesque and the cleared path on the property was a short but enjoyable walk with our small dog. The cabin feels private and isolated except for some noise from the road, and on one day it sounded like the neighbors were shooting multiple guns for a period of time which was a bit disturbing for city folks. We thought the water had a strong unpleasant odor and decided to purchase bottled water for drinking, brushing teeth, etc. We played the PAC MAN game in the loft on one night which was fun. The cabin location was convenient to numerous, beautiful hikes in Hocking Hills State Park.

Beautiful property! Secluded, quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean, well stocked with kitchen/bathroom items. Hot tub was relaxing in the evenings after hiking all day. We had one day we were unable to hike due to rain, but there were plenty of activities at the house to help entertain the kids. Board games, jumbo connect 4, chess, cards etc. It was nice having a family game day. One very minor suggestion would be to add another mirror somewhere in the house to help with multiple people getting ready. The only mirror is in the bathroom. Other than that we have zero suggestions. Highly recommend this property to those who truly want to relax and enjoy nature!

Everything thing was wonderful. The cabin and hot tub were clean. It was very private and peaceful. It was also dog friendly and our old boy had a wonderful time. The owners communicate great and even let us know when the property was being mowed. The property was beautiful and we really enjoyed the trails cut for walking. We enjoyed everything from the swing, to the outdoor livingroom space, to the front porch rockers. We also appreciated the fenced in area for our dog. Also, the outdoor lighting at night was great.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck, at the fire pit area, and in the hot tub. We appreciated the fenced-in yard for our dog. We would stay here again and would recommend this property to others! Our stay would have been even better if the pond were stocked for fishing and if the poison ivy along the fence line was removed.

Beautiful outdoor spaces that I wish we were able to utilize more. Fairly close to a lot of the good hiking locations. They also were very welcoming of our dog. The fenced area was perfect.

Cabin overall was great was looking for a place to get away and relax with the family. I chose this place as the description said stocked pond. Sure the pond was a little small could even tell from the photos. I have 4 boys and 3 out of 4 are big into fishing. We built this trip up for weeks only to be let down by an empty pond full fish stories. Please change your description to be less misleading people pay good money for these trips. Great place just don’t get it for the fishing and when I mean no fish I mean no fish

Very nice place to stay for hiking on the Hocking Hills trails. The Cabin is very well kept and clean. We were worried about mosquitos, but surprisingly did not experience any issues. Just a warning, there is not any cell phone service near this location, so write down/print your check-in instructions with the code to the door. The WIFI did work reliably while we were there. The cabin itself is almost like new. The owners communicated well and were able to help us to remotely access the site (because I in fact did not print out the code to the door!). Was very pet friendly as well.

We had a great stay at this very clean and secluded cottage. It was about as clean as could be. It also had everything we needed to stay comfortably like all cooking and kitchen supplies, linens, and towels, TP and paper towels. The fenced back yard was a plus, as it allowed us to travel with our small dog. She loved all of the hikes! It's hard to tell in the photos, but the fence has chicken wire behind the wood fence and has no holes large enough for our dog to escape. As others mentioned, the WiFi is excellent. The hot tub was amazing, and very private and clean. All parks/trails are 10-15 min away. The property manager was very responsive as well. Overall great stay!towels towels

The cabin is set up perfectly. Very comfortable and inviting. I think the owners thought of every possible thing you could ever need. Fully stocked is an understatement compared to most other cabins we have stayed at. The fireplace is absolutely beautiful. Having the fenced in back yard is great for kiddos and dogs as well. If you’re having doubts, just book it. Totally worth it! We absolutely plan to be back and will probably make this our new go to cabin in the Hocking Hills.

My husband and I wanted to get away for the new year. Hocking Hills has been a favorite destination for decades. I've rented homes here and throughout the country for many years. We loved the pictures of this home and the 14 acres. As the date came closer, we realized we wanted to come a day early. The owners were quick to respond and we were able to come a day early. The directions to the home were spot on. As we drove down the long driveway, the home was quaintly lit with holiday lights. The porch was decorated with holiday pillows and other decorations. The home was very clean and also decorated. We were met with a thank you card and some snacks. They have doggy bowls already filled with water. There are doggy bags and a towel to wipe their paws. The fenced in yard is a huge plus. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of blankets were provided as well. The kitchen had everything one could want including a crockpot, blender, and other uncommon amenities. The hot tub was ready and perfect. It's close to everything without feeling you're close to anything. We had a small issue arise and the owners responded swiftly, on a holiday! We can't wait to return. Do yourself a favor and rent this home!

This cabin was very clean and the owners are super helpful and responsive. Check in was a bit tricky. Make sure you screen shot or print any information you may need. Because of an error from vrbo we didn’t have a check in email and I didn’t see the Wi-Fi password in the info in the map i expected it to be posted when we arrived and it was not. Because there was no cell service and i couldn’t access the app we had to get back in the car and drive 25ish minutes until we had reception and I could reach out to the owners. Luckily, they responded right away. There are no written directions for anything in the cabin so you do need access to the app or email. Otherwise, everything was great. Our kids loved the lofted area and the fireplace was lovely. The house feels secluded and the property is nice. Keep in mind that the driveway is gravel and if the weather is icy or very wet it could be tricky without 4wd.

The private trails were a highlight, giving us the chance to explore and allow the kids to safely take on the trails and scenery. If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-filled escape, this two-bedroom cabin in Logan, Ohio, is an absolute gem. Tucked away in the woods, it offers the perfect blend of seclusion and comfort, making it ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a quiet, private oasis. The cabin itself is cozy but spacious, with two comfortable bedrooms that make it easy to relax. Waking up to the sounds of nature outside your window is a great way to start the day, and the cabin’s warm, rustic feel makes it easy to unwind. The kitchen is well-equipped, so you can cook meals if you want, and there’s a fireplace for those cool evenings when all you want to do is curl up with a good book. One of the best parts, though, is the location. It’s just a short drive to the hiking trails and natural wonders of Hocking Hills, but you still feel completely removed from the busyness of life. Whether you’re hiking to a waterfall or just enjoying your morning coffee on the deck, the peaceful surroundings make it so easy to forget about everything else. In the evenings, you can soak in the hot tub under the stars or sit around the fire pit, listening to the sounds of the forest. It really feels like a place where you can breathe deeply and recharge. This cabin is perfect if you’re craving a break from the daily grind and want to reconnect with nature in a beautiful, serene setting.

Our stay at Breath of Heaven was perfect. The cabin is beautiful with everything you need, including coffee filters! The property is lovely with a cute pond and fenced yard…like the VRBO pictures but even better. Definitely dog friendly and ideal for a family. Internet connection is very good with no issues at all, even with streaming. There isn’t cell service but that’s just the way it is throughout Hocking Hills. That makes the super fast internet and great bandwidth at Breath of Heaven all the more appreciated. We were able to watch the Buckeyes, which was definitely important! We enjoyed the grill and deck and the ability to see a zillion stars which of course you don’t get living in the city. Definitely recommend Breath of Heaven and will stay again next time we visit HH. Thank you to our great hosts!
