Stayed Dec 26, 2025Cabin was very clean, cozy and full of amenities. Host had a very quick response time. Check in was very simple. Property is beautiful and plenty of hikes/mountains within a half hour-an hour or so distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Great little place for a family stay at Thanksgiving! We did all our Thanksgiving cooking in the ample kitchen. And had plenty of room for our 2 families, one with a toddler. Always warm and cozy, and a beautiful setting with the creek running by in the back.The weather was mostly agreeable, with sunny but cold days, though too cold at night to use the outdoor fire pit. But it didn’t stop us from doing several local hikes with the dogs, and from using the hot tub on a daily basis. Convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock, both about a 20 minute scenic drive away following the Blue Ridge Parkway. But don’t follow the Apple or Google Maps suggested route - they attempt to take you through a private gated community!Overall, had a great time with family and we would return again without hesitating.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025We actually loved the cabin itself, and the creek flowing in the back, and the backyard was phenomenal. Communication with the owner was very good. We had one or two difficult issues, which were solved after we left. The biggest issue was that it was very far out, 35 minutes minimum to Boone, and whenever a car or truck drove by the dust if it had not rained or was pretty bad. But we love the property, and our two labradors loved the creek! Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Stayed May 10, 2025The cabin is beautiful and the hosts were very responsive. If you just want a place to relax and get away then this is the place to be. A bit more remote than expected but being right on the creek with nothing, but peace and quiet was just what we needed. The hot tub was definitely enjoyable.
