This cabin is beautiful, modern, and immaculately clean; the hosts go above and beyond with little touches like providing both dish soap and laundry detergent, which almost no one does. It's also conveniently close to Cades Cove and some genuinely excellent restaurants. Two things worth knowing before you book: First, if you're coming for privacy and seclusion, this isn't it. The neighbors are close enough that their dog in the yard could see us through our windows, and the sunroom has no curtains: lovely during the day, uncomfortable at night. Second, the hot tub is a jetted soaking tub in the sunroom. It's beautiful, but it fills from the tap, never exceeded 91, and has to be drained after each use. If you're expecting a maintained, chemical-treated hot tub that's ready when you arrive, adjust your expectations. If you go in knowing what it actually is — a lovely, well-equipped cabin close to the park — you'll probably love it. We just wished we'd read the listing more carefully.

We had a fantastic time with family. Our goal was to be somewhat close to Gatlinburg and this was not at all close. However we enjoyed the value with many amenities and closeness to the Smokies park entrance. The hot tub took a long time to heat up and had to stay on to be ready for us which in turn was both loud and quite humid inside. A cover would go a long way in helping contain the humidity and maintain the water temperature. All in all, we were very pleased with the experience. Our dog ended up causing some minor damage and I was impressed with rhe way management handled the situation. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely home, easy to get to and felt very private. It was extremely clean and well appointed - even had the damper open on the fireplace and provided all the firewood I would need during my stay! The bed was comfortable, and the hot tub hit the spot on those really cold days. The shower temperature is amazing as I like a really warm shower before bed. The hosts were easy to contact and very accommodating.Things to note for the next traveler:- You will need to get into the hot tub once filled to turn on the jets and set your temperature.- The large windows near the ceiling in the bedroom are beautiful, but at night, the neighbor's motion light comes on a few times and will shine into the room. - The driveway you past first where you will need to park to get the key is steep, but there are stairs you can take. If you have to unload a lot, I suggest getting just the key, going in and unlocking the back door where the firewood is to carry in your stuff.I would recommend staying here instead to anyone who is considering Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. I plan on booking again next year.

The cabin is in an area with several others, but we felt like we were just in the woods. Really enjoyed the screened porch for relaxing, reading and playing cards...again felt like we the only ones around. The inside is spacious and beautifully furnished. It was too warm for a wood fire, but I'm sure it would have made the room really cozy! We also enjoyed the indoor hot tube, and used it every day. While we were there, the host had to replace a piece of broken furniture. She asked for our approval first, and we had a very nice chat while that was being done. Cyndie is wonderful and gracious.

The cabin was nice and comfortable. It was easy to get to and close to everything in Townsend. We gave this cabin a 4 only because we weren't able to get the hottub to a warm enough temp that we liked, after we filled it up. Also we couldn't put anything on the kitchen counter due to the ants getting all over anything we left out. Other that it was a great place to stay.

The cabin was well furnished with a great fireplace and comfortable seating in the living room. A nice amount of firewood was supplied along with fire starter. The kitchen was supplied with an ample amount of pots dinner ware etc. We cooked several meals successfully using both the stove and the gas fired grill. The bed and linens were exceptionally comfortable. The jetted tub on the enclosed porch was a huge plus and very relaxing. The two showers were adequate along with the bathrooms. The multiple dining areas provided dining options. All the windows allow lots of light and provide lots of relaxing viewing of the area. Although there are several other cabins nearby, the woods provided a fair amount of privacy. The roads leading to the cabin are moderately but not too intimidating for this flatlander. We were here in December and had snow and a little ice during our stay and had no trouble getting around the area snd traveling yo Pigeon Forge in a regular drive medium SUV. Wonderful stay and look forward to returning.

We loved the privacy of this VRBO. Townsend is the perfect, quiet location for our adventures into the National Park. This was our first time visiting and Boulder Pass was the perfect size home for the two of us. It had all the amenities we needed and wanted (except for shampoo/conditioner - was hoping for a trial size so I didn’t need to pack any). I loved the hot tub! I wasn’t sure if I would like filling the tub myself and if it would be as enjoyable as a conventional hot tub. I loved having fresh water and no chemicals. I wasn’t sure if it needed emptied after each use or not. The first night I emptied and the 2nd night I left the water in it and left the tub on (heat). There are no instructions on what is best. I liked the option of climbing right in on the 3rd evening but I think emptying it each night would work best. It really doesn’t take that long to fill. Get it going and get unpacked. I would recommend arriving when it is still light outside. The area is thick with trees/shrubs so dark is dark. Upon arrival, the flood lights and porch lights were on which was very helpful. When you leave for your adventures, leave a light on for your return. We will definitely return to Boulder Pass. Beautiful getaway. The town of Townsend offered great places to eat and a quick access into the National Park.
