Boone/Blowing Rock Cabin: Hot Tub, Mountain Views, Sleeps 8, Peaceful, Private

The cabin was great. Beautiful views. Enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds clean and comfy. Lots of board games available for kids to play. Definitely need 4WD to get up the driveway. We did have an issue with the hot tub not being clean on arrival, but hosts were prompt in response to messages and sent someone out to service the hot tub so we could use it that evening.

Our stay was great! This was the perfect sized cabin for 2 families of 4! It had everything we needed!

We LOVED everything!!! It was great for our elderly in laws as well!!! Definitely a must if you’re in the area and need a quiet spot to relax!!!

House was very clean and secluded with a great view and plenty of room it’s not too far from Boone and blowing rock we spent our weekend site seeing so the location was perfect would stay again.

The view, kitchen and beds were exactly as we had hoped. Unfortunately the amenities paid for were not. The fire table would not come on. I contacted the host hoping for the offer of another propane tank or at least a reimbursement if I picked one up but was told it should work. The hotub had not been cleaned and had a ring of grease or oil around it. We were not able to use the hotub either. Although we used the stove it wasn't cleaned either. I would look into a new cleaning service for this location if I owned it.

Nice comfortable home. Unable to use hot tub because it is not covered under porch and rained a lot. Other than that, everything was great, kitchen stocked well.

We had a perfect stay! The location is wonderful with beautiful mountain views and lots of trees. It is clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including a variety of coffee, kitchen needs, and more. The porch is lovely with chairs, a table, and a fire table. The home is close to anything you need. Clare is an excellent host and communication with her was great. I can't wait to come back and stay longer!

The cabin was clean and well equipped, the owners were very responsive and helpful, and the long range views from the patio were spectacular. The cabin does need some maintenance. Several of the window blinds were broken, window screens were detached or missing, and the upstairs bathroom door didn't close properly because it was detaching from its upper hinge. The ramp leading to the porch was not level side-to-side, and you have to use the ramp because only the patio door has an electronic keypad lock. Note that there are surveillance cameras covering the entire patio area.

The cabin was perfect for us. It is clean, cozy, and the views are spectacular. It's an easy drive to Boone and App State, a few minutes from restaurants. Quiet, peaceful and lovely!!

Sister getaway in this beautiful spacious cabin. So clean. Everything we needed was there. Views are great from the porch. Hot tub was fabulous with mountain views. So cozy. I hope to be back. Steep drive up but we had no problems on my Honda Odyssey van. Quick response time from owner.

The cabin was perfect for our family of four (twin 15 year olds and their parents)! The location—and how close it is to both Boone and Valle Crucis—is perfect to be able to get places easily. Great proximity to Blowing Rock, Foscoe, Grandfather Mtn, etc, too. The cabin itself was clean and had absolutely everything we needed. A few trees have grown and obstructed the view a little bit, but there is still a nice slice of open view to the beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was great for sore muscles after hiking and kayaking, and the place is close to other homes, but you’d never know it. A short walk down the hill to an amazing view for sunsets with a beverage. I included a picture of one of those sunsets. Nice privacy and an overall wonderful stay! Definitely recommend!

This house is simply amazing! The views are gorgeous, the house is clean, and we found so many yummy local restaurants. The property is as described, and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Boone, NC! The house was clean and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was absolutely beautiful—perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or winding down in the evening.Although it was just the two of us, the cabin had plenty of space and would be ideal for a family or a group of friends. The location couldn’t have been better—close to Appalachian State University, downtown Boone, and Blowing Rock, with easy access to hiking, dining, and shopping.The hosts were fantastic—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the mountains in comfort and style!

We had an amazing stay. Views are gorgeous. So many small thoughtful touches. We brought baby gates and a pack and play, but they were already provided!The last leg of the drive seems a bit steep, but we made it easily in our Kia carnival. We will definitely be back!

The property boasts amazing views from the bedroom, living room and hot tub! The interior is cozy and comfortable. However, the floors were not clean and the hot tub also needed to be cleaned and maintained. A little disappointing.Otherwise a lovely weekend.

Overall, we had a great stay! We enjoyed the hot tub and grilling on the deck. Even though the trees hadn't bloomed yet, the views were awesome! The cabin had everything you needed (cooking utensils, extra blankets, etc). Clare was very responsive and gave us super detailed instructions! The only negative was the beds were ok. The pillows were thin, so might be time for an investment in thicker pillows and the mattresses were on the former side.

My wife and I spent a wonderful few days celebrating the new year in this lovely mountain retreat. Incredible views, complete privacy, everything one could need right there. We literally did not leave (other than going for walks) the whole time ... and we didn't even use the second floor of the house that has more space and bedrooms!

We really enjoyed our stay; great place, location and hosts!
