Stayed Sep 18, 2025This was a fun, comfortable cabin in a lovely neighborhood with a great location in Madison. The dining table easily shared meals with my office desk, and I never had an issue with connectivity for webinars and Zoom calls. I loved being so close to Willy's Co-op and the Sunday Farmers Market, as well as some of the main roads to happy places like Perennial Yoga in the Garver Feed Mill, restaurants, and shopping. We spent much time at the three closest of Dane County Parks with off-leash trails within 6, 12, and 23 minutes (permit required), and also hiked at Governor Nelson and Devils Lake State Parks. The biggest treat was having Lake View Hill Park right out the front door.The kitchen satisfied a picky chef, and my only longing was to have more than just a few days to enjoy the heated floors - because it was warmer than usual for this time of year!A month well spent.

Stayed Sep 26, 2022We enjoyed our stay. Jennifer is a great host. The location was good for us because of easy access to birding, shopping, and family. The cabin was well equipped for cooking simple meals. We were comfortable and pleased with our choice.

Stayed Sep 28, 2020When staying here I felt like I was at home and didn't want to leave when my stay was up. The wood cabin esque and smell of the wood when walking into the front door was amazing. I highly recommend and would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 2, 2020We loved our weekend at the cabin. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. It is close enough to town and also close to lakes and a nice trail to explore with our pup. Woke up to a friendly deer in the woods checking us out. We hope to come back again next summer. Thank you Jennifer for being a great host!
