Boat + Fish on Mille Lacs Lake: ‘Walleye Cabin’

The cabin was nice and cozy! Very clean. Would stay there again. Would have been nice to have some other guests staying there at the same time but we were the only ones. Ben the owner was awesome! He helped out in any way he could!

Absolutely the best stay I've had up north. The cabin was absolutely adorable. It was so clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Benjamin was super responsive. I will absolutely be back again.

Fall colors were awesome and caught some fish. Property is great for a short trip.

3rd stay at the walleye cabin for us! Always enjoy the space, very quiet, I feel safe leaving my boat uncovered outside. We will be back in the spring again!

The cabin was clean, organized, and well stocked with towels, TP, paper towels etc. Air Con worked REALLY WELL. Window units, but they cooled that little cabin down considerably. Getting to the water is the only complaint I have. You have to cross the road you drive in on to get to the water. No crosswalk nearby so you're stuck waiting for a gap in the HEAVY traffic to run across the road to the dock. There is no other way to get to the water. It's a SUPER busy road with cars going at least 60. Other than that it was a fantastic trip. Launch service was great. Despite a few unforeseen issues, no power for fish finder, and ran out of gas, the captain and the bait man made it worth while. It was a good trip, and will always be a hell of a story now.

The cabin itself is super cute and nicely updated. Well built. It was super hot this weekend and the two little air conditioners kept up nicely. Comfy bed and fouton. We did move one of the bedroom lamps into the living room to give it more coziness. It was me and my teen daughter and her friend. Although I know its not very accessable, a TV would be nice in the main area. But we made do. Bedding was missing for the fouton but the property manager was amazing and stayed in communication and got the bedding there for the two teenagers. Only recommendation would be a few more kitchen towels and rags. And a few wine glasses. Parking could be labled too. We woke up to someone elses car parked super tightly against mine. I was parked next to the picnic table and the only car in our party. Overall a great little place. Even with two teenage girls who had several bags, blankets and stuff! Haha.

Loved our stay! Larger than expected, beautifully decorated, VERY CLEAN! Linens were soft and appeared new or almost new. Had all we needed to make meals. Shower had shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Cabin was far enough from main road that we felt safe with a little kid and dog there. Would recommend 100%.

Easy checking and clean cabin for a weekend of fishing.

We found the cabin as it was represented to be. It was a cute cabin with everything we needed. We didn't spend much time there daily but returned there each night. The bed was comfortable, I rested well.

Pros: perfect for two people. Has pretty much everything you need. Cabin and property was clean. Felt safe and secure. Cons: just a little bit hard to find. Could use more signage. Dock could be a bit longer for us fishers that don’t own a boat. And maybe a television in the living area.

Just wondering if an option to put the TV in the living room as opposed to the bedroom no big deal otherwise thank you and excellent stay. And also to treat for mosquitoes as it was crazy bad.

Our second time staying in the walleye cabin, just as good as our first! Quiet location that let's me feel peace of mind with my belongings and boat parked outside. We will be back again next trip to mille lacs!
