Bluebonnet Luxury Cabin - in the Hocking Hills

The cabin was very clean. Perfect for our get away. Close to trails.

It is a very nice location, well designed, great layout. One Big negative, place was not cleaned upon arrival, very dissappointing. Had to wait wife was pissed. We put that behind us once cleaned and had a great time.

Very clean and luxurious cabin - perfect getaway for my wife and me. We will definitely be planning a return trip!

This cabin is FANTASTIC. It is very much a true luxury retreat for two. The location is ideal for hiking and exploring all the sights of Hocking Hills. After a hike, the hot tub and the reclining and massaging chairs in the living room are just the trick to rest and recover. The beautiful kitchen and outdoor grill provide everything you need for breakfast, lunch or a romantic dinner in. The cabin is quiet and very private and has a great view of the sunset and stars from both of the decks on the back of the house. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was just as described. It smelled clean and fresh when you walked in. Loved the privacy and serenity of the location. The game table upstairs was cool and a blast from our past, playing the old arcade games. The laundry machine was a stackable one, very nice to have after being on the muddy trails. Our only suggestion is that the closet in the bedroom had more hangers. Other than that it was perfect.

Gorgeous views and a cozy interior, nice and secluded as well. Perfect for a romantic getaway. My only advice is to bring an abundance of charcoal for the grill, you'll go through it faster than you think!

Could have had a couple more skillets in the kitchen. Also a dish rag and kitchen towel would have been nice. Other than that it was good.

Everything was amazing at the property and we had no issues. We will definitely be coming back. The views were beautiful, especially from the hot tub. The property felt so secluded and private, but we could drive into town in about 20 minutes. The only thing we wished it had was a pool table upstairs. The loft felt a little unused since there was only a gaming table. The hosts were great with communication before check in as well with plenty of information.

This is a great cabin for a romantic getaway, but there was also plenty of space if we had brought the kids and some air mattresses. It was very, very clean (especially the hot tub) and getting into/checking out of the cabin was easy. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of essential dishes/flatware/pots, I think I even saw a waffle maker! One difference from the pictures/details is that there is a k-cup machine as well as a full coffee maker. Water pressure is not great (not surprising since it seems like well water) but the location to the hiking trails and views made up for it. Don’t forget to bring firewood. There is none there and the fireplace is totally worth it. Pick this cabin!

The cabin itself was good. The cleanliness was lacking, you really could not see out the window due to not being cleaned, front and back porches were dirty. My husband had to clean and pick up a huge black hair ball from the shower! When taking off the sheets ,the mattress pad was so in need of washing a long with the bedspread too due to what ever spray they use on it , what a tacky sticky feel. Could not sit by the fire ring due to the slope and the uneven driveway stone. There was no landscape to speak of. It was not worth the price. C. Danielson

We absolutely loved our stay. It was a beautiful cabin with beautiful surroundings. I definitely recommend visiting!

Beautiful location and cabin! Less than 20 minutes from Logan center. We did make sure to spend plenty of time both at the cabin and enjoying hocking hills. Only a 6 minute drive to Old Man's Cave. There was another cabin somewhat close to ours, but plenty of privacy with the trees and the privacy slats on the side of the deck. Make sure to bring your own seasonings if planning to cook, and toiletries, shampoo, and towels. Two towels and a wash cloth were providedThe massage function on the couch was an amazing surprise! Definitely a nice, modern cabin to relax in and still be close to all of the amazing things in Logan/HH area.

The Bluebonnet Cabin is a great find! It is beautifully decorated with wood and stone throughout. It has a big kitchen, upper loft/game room, amazing stone shower, outdoor jacuzzi, two balconies with incredible views and more. It is clean, well stocked, and very private/secluded, yet still close to all there is to see in Hocking Hills. This is a perfect place for a couples getaway!

This cabin was like in new condition, had all the amenities we could have wanted for our stay including well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and living room furniture, great deck areas with comfortable seating in each, very nice hottub on back deck, very quiet, easy to find, and real close to many of the trails we wanted to hike. Two fireplaces (too warm for us to use), big screen TV's in LR and BR. Check in could not have been more straightforward as well. There is an upper level loft with additional deck but we did not use, but might be OK for kids with sleeping bags.

My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend together at the cabin. Everything was very clean and enjoyable -- particularly the hot tub with a great view of the setting sun. Good news -- there are now coffee filters provided!

40th anniversary trip! This place was impressive! Gorgeous inside and out! Very clean and well stocked. Bed very comfortable and the shower was awesome! There was a hot tub we enjoyed along with 2 outdoor balconies and a great front porch. I could keep going on, but I am sure you get it!

Stayed over Presidents’ Day weekend as a couples getaway. We hesitated booking this property as it was more than we typically spend on a cabin. Worth every penny. Rob, the property manager, was very helpful making sure we were up to date on weather reports and the level 2 snow emergency on the day of check in. They even plowed the drive for us the next morning which was a welcomed surprise. We can see two other cabins from the property, but it was dead of winter, I’m sure in spring you couldn’t and they were not close enough to be any bother. The hot tub was incredible, and they had privacy slats on the side where the other cabins are. Due to the cold we didn’t get to use the three different outdoor areas. We’re planning to come back in the spring sometime to make more use of the porch’s. The loft upstairs was really cool and had an arcade game table. Kitchen is pretty well stocked as far as utensils and dishes. Everything was very well laid out, clean, and beautifully decorated.

Just what we needed!

What a wonderful, amazing cabin, it was just as it was listed! Clean, great layout with a bonus of an arcade game in the loft, massage chairs in the living room, and It was secluded but only 16 minutes from a Walmart if you forgot something and only 7 minutes to the Hocking Hills state park which by the way was so beautiful in the winter! One of our favorite parts was watching deer with all the snow around while we enjoyed the hot tub. It also had a plenty of pots and pans and an ice maker, that was a nice surprise, other places we have stayed we bring our own or there are ice trays to fill. You do have to bring your own spices as they note but other than that the kitchen was ready to go! Another item worth noting is the tv streaming worked Great, we were a little leery because streaming at our own house is not great but we were able to use Netflix all week with NO issues. We would definitely go back and recommend to others!

Very cute cabin in the woods. Enjoyed the massage option of the couch. Would recommend an informational binder be placed in the cabin to reference regarding use of the cabin, restaurants, local sites and check out reminders. We were unable to get the WIFI connection/communication to the TV's. We had our own devices for streaming the football games we wanted to watch.

Such a beautiful property. House is secluded enough but not scary alone. Massage chairs in living room were amazing!

This cabin is so beautiful. Very private and peaceful. Has everything you need to make your own meals and drinks. Amazing massage chairs in living area. The bedroom, has a comfy king size bed and the room smells great every time when you walk in. Dual shower heads in the shower. It was just what we need for a girls getaway!

Cabin had sufficient ammeties. Dryer did not work, some jets in hot tub did not work and one of the shower heads didnt work. But overall, we enjoyed our stay. .

This will definitely be our “get away” cabin from now on!

Cabin was just as it is described. Very quaint and beautiful. Gave my wife and I a very relaxing week. Everything was in great working order and if we had an issue they took care of it immediately. It is close to great hiking and wonderful places for meals. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking meals if you just want to have a romantic time with your loved one. We will be back again.

The perfect cabin for a romantic getaway! The cabin was beautiful and has everything you need. The tub! The shower! Feels remote but located a very short drive to hikes and restaurants. The hot tub was a great way to finish off the night. We will definitely return

Location is exactly what we wanted. Secluded and beautiful. House is cozy.

This was our first ever cabin together, and my first ever birthday weekend trip just me and my fiance! It was amazing. Very clean, very up to date, amazing appliances and hot tub! My only complaint is how much wasted potential the second floor is.. they have a little arcade table with two chairs but.. that’s it. Nothing on the second floor porch- I mean put like a porch swing,chairs, anything? Also if you want to make the second floor room a game room, put some beanbags or chairs and some board games with a. normal table would’ve loved that! Other than that it’s amazing. Oh my gosh! Also we lost power due to a power outage and the host was very quick to pick up my call and got back to me very quick about the outage and the estimated time it would come back on.
