Blue Rose Cabins - Pinecrest Cabin

The cabin should have been much cleaner. Several services were sticky and toilet was not clean. Good location and quiet.

Nice quiet cottage, safe and roomy. Road up to the cabin tricky. Uneven gravel, stone which requires slow speed . Very cozy and nice otherwise.

The hot tub was nice but all the jets didn’t seem to work. The kitchen appliances were dirty from previous visitors, and were rusty from age. The bathroom seemed as if it doesn’t get cleaned. Finally the beds are very uncomfortable. The price for this stay is twice as much as it should be.

Besides the accommodations on the property being slightly older, the stay was all around decent. Only issue was I had no clue on check in and check out besides a laminated paper telling us what to do for check out which was just tidying up the stuff we had used during the stay and to place key back where we found it. There was no instruction on where to go for check in so to this day I’m unaware of where or how we were supposed to get checked in even if that was an option given the key inside the lockbox was already unlocked upon our arrival.

We enjoyed being secluded in a warm and cozy cabin and away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. The air was fresh and a beautiful, unusual bright red bird Welcomed us one morning.

Perfect place for a couple to get away for a few days and relax.

We really liked this cabin with its beautiful wood interior, fireplace and hot tub. It was only 10 minutes from Old Man’s Cave and 24 mins to Ash Cave.

Loved the area. The cabin was dated. Some cleanliness issues for us personally. For 300 the value really is in the area you’re staying not the accommodations. Given that everything was great.

I really like this place. There's a couple things need attention. The hot water tank needs turned up because it doesn't last long enough for two. Also there needs to be a side table on the one side of the bed. Bed was comfy. The last thing I'd do is take a couple area of the fencing down so u can enjoy the woods. There's a bunch of mugs 2 wine glasses plates but no cups. The hot tub I feel like it could have been a little warmer.

The cabin was chilly with the furnace and fireplace running. We found the kitchen amenities to be sufficient. The hot tub was nice after hiking.

Floors were dirty. Cabin was in need of a deep cleaning. Beds and linens and towels were clean. Back porch was dirty. Beds were comfortable.

Wanted you to know I was asked to make to wash dishes and put away but found a lot dirty dishes when wanting to use them

A comfortable relaxing get away for the night. Clean property and cabin, couldn’t ask for much else.

It was very cozy and romantic and we enjoyed it so much and we will be back soon it was very clean and tidy and cozy we loved the hot tub and the fireplace

the hot tub was just what we needed and even cooked on the grill a steak and mushrooms and onions! it was a great place to spend a nice couple of days. We enjoyed the antique stores and hiking to Old Man's Cave and lots of other caves! stopped at Grandma Faye's store which we ate there too!

This cabin did what we needed it to but not without concerns. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and the amount of cobwebs throughout the cabin made us wonder how diligent the owners/cleaners are. No mention of how steep the driveway is to reach the property, unless you have all wheel drive you’ll struggle to make it up the graveled incline. The beds were questionable and seemed to be barely holding together. We opted to sleep on the couches and ended up purchasing an air mattress instead of risking the sketchy sleeping arrangements. We had a wonderful time in hocking hills but we will not be back to this cabin.

Location was good. It was peaceful and quiet at the cabin.

Quiet and peaceful but cabin needs updated. Cabin is in a good location, not very far from all the main Hocking Hills attractions.

Spacious, loved the hot tub, nice loft-style cabin, sofa was comfortable and we enjoyed having a fire in the pit. The only area for improvement, which may not be possible due to the remote location, was that we were unable to get WIFI and cell phone service consistently.

The place just seemed dirty. Floors and carpet. We had to sweep and wash back porch before we could use it.

The location of this cabin is great being 10 minutes from Old Mans Cave and on a relatively secluded road. The size of it is perfect and it was cozy. Beds were plenty comfortable and sheets were clean. Most of the cabin was clean except for lots of mouse poop throughout, in cabinets, on the counters, on the stairs. Mice were making noise in cabinets most of the night hearing plates smack around. This may be a temporary issue but the host seemed dismissive over it.The hot tub water was also quite murky. Everything else was pretty clean upon arrival. Good, detailed directions provided by host for getting to the cabin and checking in.

We liked the cabin and the deco and the quietness of the location and the bed was really one of the most comfortable we ever had at a place we have stayed.

We liked the fireplace, hot tub and couches. We both prefer softer beds, and the couches were great for sleeping! We also appreciated how quickly the place warmed up with the heater AND fireplace! We also appreciated the WiFi and how close we were to all of the places we wanted to go!

Size of the cabin was perfect for the two of us rode in was very interesting. Glad I drove my SUV. Thought it would be a little bit more isolated. The one cabin to the left was a little close.

In general, an ok place but needed repairs and maintenance work. Light by hot tub flickers, hot tub cover is falling apart and into the hot tub. Septic gas coming out the kitchen sink. The kitchen and bath are clean but worn out and due for makeover.

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was in a quiet space with lot much people around. The hot tub itself was amazing! Although the hot tub could use a little less chlorine. It was a bit strong and caused your eyes to get irritated after a few minutes. Other than that it was a amazing get away and I will be returning for a 3rd time!

The cabin was cute & smelled clean, but needed deep cleaning. It was adequate for our short stay. However, the countertop & sink, & rusted bathroom mirror are inexpensive upgrades. The bathmat was very dirty. The beds were fine & the linens smelled clean, but the blanket on the bed in the loft had holes. The hot tub was a nice feature, but the chlorine was so strong it burned our eyes. The driveway to this cabin was bumpy due to washouts. It was a decent price for locality to Hocking Hills.

Cabin was as posted. Know there's not much you can do about the junk yard when you turn onto Phelps Rd, but would definitely be nice. Also, would suggest a full curtain on the back door and extra bankets.

Cockroaches were found in kitchen. Used hair ties were found on the floor. The cabin was filthy. We immediately left and found a local hotel to stay in.

The hot tub was nice and it was adequate for what we needed.

There was a housekeeping issue that we didn't discover until evening. The person who came when we called was very competent and friendly. She was not at all put out about coming out to do extra work after hours. We used the hot tub, the fire ring,the shower and the AC. All were in working order. The wifi was pretty good. All in all we enjoyed the stay.

Close proximity to things

The cabin was in a great location and the size was perfect for myself and my spouse. However, the facilities were unclean and unacceptable. The kitchen and everything in it was dirty. Additionally, the kitchen sink smelled so strongly of sewage when the water was turned on that we could not use it. We reached out to management and received no response. The shower was dirty when we arrived including hairs visible on the walls and the toilet had a small leak at the base.
