Black Mtn.Hideaway: Romantic Mtn.Views, Hot Tub, & Pet Friendly!

I prefer having a dishwasher. Hot tub was nice but by the end of the week it had lost water below the jets. There was some dog hair on the sofa and dust under the twin beds. The fire pit was fun.

Beautiful views and relaxing hot tub. Well equipped with cute decor 2 bedroom cabin. We enjoyed grilling a couple evenings while sipping our drinks from the local brewery. Would recommend this Black Mountain cabin for a getaway.

We had a girls weekend in the mountains. We all loved the cabin. The view was beautiful, the spa made it all worthwhile. This cabin is simple, yet cozy. We even got some snow, which made it even more special to have the fireplace. The price was very reasonable. It was nice to be close to the grocery store, yet it was tucked away and very private. The leather couch and chair were very comfortable. The only complaint was the shower did not get very hot and water pressure was low. We would definitely book again!

The cabin was perfect for my family of four. It was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Conveniently located to grocery store, highway and airport. Enjoyed the hot tub and view of the mountains. The owners responded quickly and were a pleasure to work with. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy getaway to Black Mountain and Asheville area.

We loved our stay at the Black Mountain Hideaway! Close enough to town to be convenient but far enough to be private and cozy. Hosts were responsive, the cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our two small dogs, and the area was great for hiking and small town hospitality. Would recommend to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

The view was amazing, the cabin was adorable and the hot tub was perfect!

The cabin was delightful. It was in a quiet, wooded neighborhood and the porch had a fantastic mountain view. The hot tub was spacious with great jets. In the morning you could hear lots of birdsong from the porch.

The home is beautiful and convenient to so many fun things. We love coming back.

This place is AMAZING! Privacy, yet quick access to stores and restaurants. Gerald was quick to help when we had a small lockout problem (our fault). Hot tub offers privacy and an amazing view of the sky at night! Kitchen had everything we needed. Didn't use fire pit or picnic table but they were available. Will definitely come back next time we are going to be in Black Mountain area!Thanks Gerald and Donna!

If you're looking for a romantic getaway or some slightly rustic cabin like experience in the mountains this place is it. There a gas powered fire place, which is VERY convenient but does give off a gas smell. The layout is comfortable but could use some furniture and bed upgrades. Once you sit in the couch its very difficult to get out, you just sink in, but sometimes it was a good thing! It's VERY dog friendly with water/food bowls available on the porch and a designated garbage for poop bags. My family of 4 and our 65 lb dog stayed a week and had a peaceful time. Location is perfectly situated in the mountains with gorgeous views and only 5 mins from downtown black mountain. The gravel road up the hill to the cabin could use a little attention. We bottomed out our van quite a bit due to the holes in the gravel/dirt road.

We had such an amazing stay here. This cabin was perfect. It was so cozy and was in such a great place, it felt secluded but was not far from anything.

Love this little cabin in the moutains. We are return renters here. The hot tub is an added bonus this time.

Be careful driveway to get to house is steep and in bad condition. House was musty, and the mattress in master was dirty. Hot tub, outside deck, and firepit was nice. Smaller view of a mountain from deck. Older home and more rustic in condition.

Great location, and only minutes from the classic mountain town of Black Mountain. Great stores and restaurants.Also it is only 15 -20 minutes to Lookout Mountain and Catawba Falls. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit after a day of hiking.

This cabin is very comfortable, quiet and cozy. The porch has a great view and the hot tub is wonderful!

We have stayed at various locations in western NC for 10 years running. Many were nice, but this cabin stands alone. Great location, fully equipped, convenient to shopping and restaurants and hiking. Looking forward to next year.

We stayed while our Black Mountain home was closing. The surroundings - woods, mountains - were perfection. We just needed to relax and the cottage - extremely cozy with a full kitchen, leather furniture we melted in, comfortable beds, updated bathroom - satisfied our wants. I had to work remotely and never experienced an internet issue. Ingles and all shopping were minutes away, so although you feel isolated, activity is within reach.Also, our dog loved exploring the area. We had to extend our stay twice and Gerald was most agreeable.If we ever visit again, the cottage will be our first choice.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was comfortable, attractive, quiet, and great location.

We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful little house. We loved looking at the stars from the hot tub, playing games, eating breakfast out on the deck, and eating at many of the wonderful local restaurants (Ole Guacamole and Blue Ridge Biscuit Kitchen were amazing!) There are so many pretty parks and ways to enjoy nature as a family. We hope to return ASAP, highly highly recommend!

This was a perfect place for us to stay for a quick weekend in Black Mountain The house was so clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. Our hosts were responsive and we so appreciate how they welcomed our dogs as guests as well! We will definitely be back!

This has been one of my best VRBO experiences! The location was perfect to Black Mountain and convenient to so many trails, etc. A perfect little cabin in the woods. Will definitely be back for more stays....already looking at the calendar!

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and attractive. The hot tub was great and there was a fantastic view from the porch.

Floors dirty. And house dirty except for shower toilet Pillows old etc Sink in kitchen leaking and out onto the floor. Bucket under pipe catching water and over flowed. Which we cleaned up. Had soaked into wood cabinet and floor. We had not used the sink. Turned water valve off This was day 1. Called owner.. Owner aware of leak. Plumber could not come until Saturday. We left on day 2 . Checday

Fabulous cabin with modern conveniences and comforts. Great view and outdoor space, close to the charming town of Black Mountain. Enjoyed our winter stay!

We had a fantastic time celebrating our 4th anniversary. We'd stayed here for our 3rd last year and plan to be back for our 5th!

The photos do not serve this home justice! The space is really well laid out. The owner thought of everything: gate on the deck for dogs, grocery discount card, candy in the shelf where keys are kept. Communication with the the owners was easy and quick. Check in was easy and straight forward.Thank you for everything!

The hosts were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. They provided great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Overall, this cabin is a gem—ideal for anyone looking to unwind in nature without sacrificing the convenience of being close to town.
