Relax on any one of the six decks at this property! Private, covered deck off of each upstairs bedroom. Plenty of room to unwind on the covered front deck. Or, fire up the gas grill for cookouts on the covered main level back deck. Enjoy an oversized picnic table, seating area, and Big Screen Smart TV for streaming games/favorite shows in the Great Outdoors! Walk downstairs for additional covered deck with a beautiful porch swing and seating areas to enjoy the horses! Lower level also boasts an open shaded deck for gathering, dining, and enjoying the serenity of the woods.
For those that love the outdoors, enjoy walking trails right off the property. Catch an amazing huge waterfall, just a short hike from the cabin. For the more adventurous hikers, there are trails that connect into the park right from the cabin. Many trail heads, scenic areas and overlooks are just a short (less than 5 miles) away.
For more outdoor fun, enjoy the ginormous outdoor rock Fire Pit with firewood provided!
Inside the Cabin, you will experience a cozy comfortable atmosphere with a gas log fireplace (push a button on the wall) and Smart TVs in every room! Kitchen is fully equipped, including a gas grill just outside the back door. If you don't feel like cooking, there are many great restaurants close by (within 8-12 miles).

We had a wonderful stay at the Bear Creek Cabin. It was as described in the listing. Beautiful decor, comfortable furnishings, plenty of opportunity to sit outside on the multiple decks and enjoy the surrounding woodlands. Nice firepit even though we didn't use it because of the wind. Gas grill and fireplace were nice to have available for use. Plenty of hot water for your shower. We enjoyed seeking out fun hikes, waterfalls, natural arches and scenic drives. Thank you for sharing your cabin in the woods with us to see the amazing fall colors in the Big South Fork/Daniel Boone National Forest.

It was peaceful and quite beautiful scenery. Owners were right in hand responded quickly with any questions I had. They were respectful and kind. Loved exploring the landscape and national parks, all near by!!!!And returned to the home for a quite evening in the forest!!Highly recommend this property!!!

My husband and I spent two peaceful nights in this rental and we loved it! We drove down and did the Bear Creek Overlook and the trail to Split Bow Arch and both were breathtaking and so worth it. Thanks David and Kim, we hope to come back soon!

My husband and I, along with our 2 dogs, were looking for a few days to getaway from the busyness of life. We found it here in the woods and hills of My Old Kentucky Home. It was so peaceful to be away from it all, yet we were still able to be connected (wifi) for my school and facetime with our daughter. The cabin is furnished magnificently and pictures don't do it justice. Kim (host) responded almost immediately to every text I sent and answered all questions I had. We even got to meet and talk to her husband a bit about horses and his time in Bowling Green, which is where we are from. We rested and recharged - just what we needed and stopped by to see the falls at Cumberland Falls on our way home. We will be back again, hopefully, soon. Oh and by the way, it was our anniversary. It was exactly what we needed. Life together at a much slower pace.

The cabin, property and area is absolutely beautiful! Very comfortable, everything you need to relax or cook dinner in is provided. We loved the decks and privacy. Kim is a wonderful host, we needed to refill or pup’s prescription and sent text to Kim asking for recommendation. Kim responded in a couple of minutes. Always cordial and ready to assist. We look forward to returning in near future. This cabin is a must do! We don’t have horses however we viewed the stalls and pasture - perfect setup! Trails are beautiful!! Thanks Kim!

I often stay in Air b'nbs and must say, this was by far one of my favorites. The cabin feels like a new build, it's so well cared for. The location provides a combination of privacy, but gated and other cabins near by. The beds were comfy, the shower had pressure, and the kitchen was well stocked. I plan to come back again with my husband and friends!

What a great experience! We enjoyed this cute cabin so much. It was clean, neat, and well stocked. It was quiet and peaceful in the woodland neighborhood. The stars looked brilliant. Kim, our hostess, was a pleasure to work with. She was warm and friendly and went over and above to help us feel right at home. We highly recommend the hostess and the cabin! Looking forward to going back.
