Stayed Jul 27, 2024The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a major perk being the presence of a coffee machine and coffee capsules. The dining area was also well-equipped. The downsides were the lack of a soap dish in the bathroom and no storage space for clothes, which meant we had to keep everything in our suitcase on the floor.

Stayed Dec 7, 2021This property was just what we were looking for while visiting Big Bend area. The room was large and clean. The beds were comfortable. The property was quiet and had a great view of the mountains from our rocking chairs on the front porch.

Stayed Nov 2, 2021It was wild and fun to discover all the beauty of the mountain property, picking up rocks and looking at cactus. The view is simply incredible and starry nights so romantic. We met really nice people at the cantina and the cantina was loaded with good things to eat. Wonderful time!

Stayed Nov 1, 2021I was really hesitant not knowing much about qhere I was going. However, Ten Bits Ranch is a very unique and fun place to visit. The rooms are in great shape and without a doubt I'm coming back again! If you're planning a trip to Big Bend National Park, you MUST check out Ten Bits Ranch!

Stayed Jan 2, 2022We had an amazing stay here. The firepits are awesome. We walked around the property for hours each day exploring. Big bend is a 30 min drive. The stars are amazing. The shower water is hot. If I'm ever back in the area this is no doubt where I will stay again. The breakfast is good. Bring some water because the water is non-potable. :)

Stayed Dec 24, 2025The views are spectacular! From sunset fires, stargazing, or sunrise with coffee in hand, there’s no time of day you can’t be in awe of the vistas. The kitchen space is a great shared area. Lots of room for individual family units to store cold goods & even with rotating use of the area, no one seemed to be in any one’s way - all guests we encountered were more than happy to coordinate schedules or share stove space.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025This place was truly amazing!! It’s 2 miles off the main road so it’s secluded, but has multiple buildings so you’re not totally in the area alone. Each room is themed and you CANNOT beat the views. The bed was so comfy, the outside seating area was cozy and amazing. I can’t say enough about this place, it was perfect and we will be back!

Stayed Apr 17, 2025We had a wonderful time at Ten Bits. Everything was nice and comfortable. The views from the room and overall surrounding scenery, especially at sunset, were breathtaking. We also enjoyed the hike to the Apache Cave. Definitely a special and memorable place to stay!

Stayed Apr 6, 2025My friend and I stayed at Ten bits ranch for only one night and I wish we would have more time there! The location is beautiful , remote but easily accessible and very peaceful. We stayed in Delmonico cabin 5. We had a beautiful desert scape view all to ourselves. The room was very clean and specious with two beds. There was microwave and mini fridge and coffee maker as well as bottled water. The bathroom was clean and had shampoo and soap samples. The only negative was rain style shower head which is not practical when you don’t want to wash your hair. There is fully stuffed communal kitchen, a short walk from the cabin for your use during stay. It’s fully stuffed with pots and pens and utensils. It also had fridges with continental breakfast. Overall very nice place to stay about 45 min from the park. Very much recommended! Ps. Bring your own firewood! Nothing beats a fireplace under the sky full of stars!

Stayed Feb 1, 2025Check in was simple, as it was all online, with codes sent to my email. The area seemed like a ghost town, with each of the guest buildings representing a different town function (eg blacksmith, bank, jail, etc). Our room was well furnished, the Wi-Fi worked surprisingly well, the outside chairs and fire pit were a great feature to look into the awesome sky at night. The only issue we experienced was we couldn’t get the heat to heat past about 65. The community “cantina” was nice, with enough simple options for breakfast. If I came back, I’d definitely choose this place again. It also would be an awesome place for larger groups to each stay here.

Stayed Jan 27, 2025The host was very communicative: emails, chats, and texts. Sent instructions to get to the place, things to do around the place, how to work heaters inside the lodging, etc. The hosts's pictures say it all. There is hot water to shower, a TV if you need entertainment, but you don't need one because nature is so beautiful. There is a fire pit outside the lodging. It was very nice to sit in a fire and enjoy the view; and make some smores. The place was very isolated to the point we thought we were the only people there but there were other guests that I did not know about (which I think is a good thing! very private). Met them at breakfast. Some rooms are close by but I don't think it mattered. The place was surrounded by beautiful mountains. We went to stay for Big Bend National Park, but it felt like we didn't even have to go there. It was hard for us to find an accommodation that allows dogs. Our dogs really enjoyed Ten Bit Ranch as well. There was a paw friend named Cash but our dogs are anxious, but Cash was very friendly and understanding. I will definitely recommend it and go again!

Stayed Nov 9, 2024The room was immaculate. Loved the continual communication and extra things to consider about the Big Bend area. Loved the communal kitchen at Ten Bits, with all the amenities that were available 24/7. The decor was gorgeous and fit the western theme, very cozy and inviting. Just like dining with family.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024Great place and clean lodging. Enjoyed the view and walking the area. Did not use the communal cooking and dinning area. It would have been nice to have a place to eat inside our cabin. Some outdoor grills around the area to cook a steak or meal would be a welcome addition.
