House on the Rocks is a short 10 minute drive south of Jasper, Arkansas and just off Scenic Hwy 7 (named one of the top 10 most scenic hiways by Atlas). Here, you’ll be a scenic 20 minute drive to the Buffalo National River! Motorcycles should note we have about 100 feet of gravel before pavement to the house but we have been “motorcycle AND Corvette approved”! (See reviews)

As you enter the Ozark log cabin you’ll be immersed with native wood plank floor to ceiling. And the spacious open dining room, fully stocked kitchen with coffee bar (old school drip! and Keurig) and super cozy living room with rock framed fire place and 50” Samsung flat screen you’ll find yourself beginning to relax and settle. The inviting sun room with the “Best view in the Ozarks” will lead you to the brand new, very large wooden deck with the grandest view in the Ozarks of the Arkansas Grand Canyon, surrounding mountains and the floor of the canyon valley. See wildlife, cliff faces and cows grazing in the valley.
You’ll be in a designated International Dark Sky Park, so the moon and stars will feel like you can touch em!

Mother Nature has placed giant boulders and hundreds of large rocks in the backyard that will continue to amaze you. Take a walk off of the deck down to the rocks and enjoy their natural splendor. You will not see another structure and the sounds of nature will be deafening.

Inside, the spacious guest bedrooms will welcome any sleeper with queen beds and extra bedding in each.
The extra large master bedroom has the most comfortable bed of all time; the KING SIZE SLEEP NUMBER!! And 32” Samsung Smart tv.

The 2 full bathrooms and half bath allow plenty of privacy and space.

Our family and many of our guests have a hard time leaving the cabin. With more than 20 acres to explore a yard full of adventure and of course the VIEW! your vacation can easily be done right here.

Great cabin and location. We loved the deck and outdoor space as well as the views. Centrally located to many hiking trails. Loved that the owners provided wood for their outdoor firepit. Watch your head when you are going under the roof on the front entrance, lol.

It was very evident the property was not recently prepared for guests. There was food residue and flaking teflon in the cooking pans. There is no dishwasher and when you washed dishes in one side of the double sink the water came up in the other side of the sink. The outdoor furniture was in disrepair and virtually unusable. The grounds were overgrown. We contacted the host and told him we were leaving and asked for a refund. His response was to attempt to address the issues during our stay. This was not acceptable to us. We came for a vacation not to supervise his poor management. He sent us a text from a purported agent for the investors stating that if we left we would not get a refund. That is yet to be determined.

The stay was great. Easy to find, easy to access. I'd load the location into your phone before setting off, as you'll probably lose phone signal on the way. The cabin had everything we neeeded, although we didn't spend a ton of time there. Amazing trails close by and a short drive to the Buffalo river. The master bed was nice. Had adjustable positions and a massage function. Jasper is only 10 minutes down the road and had restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Very rustic and well worn. Nice view from deck. Rough road and driveway. Could hear mice in sunroom bedroom walls

We enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing. We were lucky enough to be able to catch the Northern Lights on our phone cameras. We enjoyed going into Jasper and eating at the Ozark Cafe and going right up the road from the house to eat at the Cliff House.

We drove over from Fayetteville for the week of the 4th and were blown away by the cabin. I don’t think the photos do it justice! The house has enough room for the 5 of us, including two kids. The view is beautiful, and the kids loved playing with the cornhole set. Would recommend this place if you are looking to get away for a few days!

House a little dated, grounds not kept in best shape. House was spacious with a lot of extras to make it feel like home. Very private with a great view. I would suggest instructions on operating electric bed. Overall a very nice place & we would stay again
