The cabin was great! Close to all the things we wanted to do. The host was very attentive and answered all our questions about the inclement weather before our arrival. The cabin was clean and well stocked with all the amenities needed. We will be back for another visit!

The cabin was just as advertised it was the perfect place for our weekend in the mountains beautiful property all the amenities inside that a visiting family could desire. The property offered some morning runs along the border beautiful views comfortable interior. More than happy with our stay.

Do NOT hesitate to stay here. The cabin is totally equipped, clean and cozy. Has anything you could possibly want and is centrally located to so many things to do. You will not be sorry if you book this one.

We had a great time. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved playing outside. The proximity to Helen was ideal. Love all the squirrels and deer near the property. Steve was very accommodating and great communication!

Cabin was as listed. Perfect location for everything we planned to do. Really enjoyed our stay.

The property was great! We were there on a weekend getaway with friends and two babies, and there was ample space. The house was clean, beds were comfy, and the outdoor space was great!

Everything was as the listing said. Steve got back to us immediately with a few questions we had. The property is very peaceful and private, with alot of room for our dog to run..The cabin is cozy, clean and has everything you need. We had a great time. Only issue was the key lock box, I had to fight some when we arrived and I could not open it when we left., but this could possibly have been me, it was raining and I have cancer so I couldn't stand in the rain to long .

We enjoyed everything about our stay! Communication and accommodations were excellent. We would love to come back again.

Such a hidden gem of a place everything was perfect

Kitchen experience was poor. Deep clean, replacements, and order required. Large cracked glass oven door, rusted stove burner grates, broken portion off of oven drawer pull. Kitchen cupboards packed too full of many dishes that should be thrown out. Split porcelain on coffee cups, burnt up overused teflon pans. Dish washer wont deliver the soap pod from broken dispenser. Food and grime down the side of refrigerator. Grime in cracks of appliances, cupboard door handles. Table mats are sticky/dirty. No room in the cupboards nor was there a pantry - our drygoods had to be left out in boxes. It was our anniversary and Im a cook. Ugly dishes and kitchen experience. Much more 'rustic' than the pictures indicated.

Cabin was very well appointed and loved the property and area.Will definitely stay again.

We had a lovely snowy weekend of relaxation. Host was prompt with responses and accommodating to our needs. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub in the snow.

Great location, host communication, and fenced space for pups!

The host communicated well. The cabin was sparkling clean, central to all things to do in the area. The amenities such as the hot tub, fenced in property, rocking chairs, etc were so nice. There were only 2 of us, but Smokerise would be spacious even at at capacity

Steve was so welcoming with a quick response everytime! The cabin was so beautiful. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Such a great place to bring in the New Year!!

We enjoyed the outdoor woodsy space and fire pit. The hot tub was so relaxing. This cabin reminded me of the cabin my family had when I was a child. Being near Helen for Christmas holidays was a special time.

The wind was bitter cold so we didn’t use the hot tub or the fire pit but the cabin was cozy. The host was very responsive. There was plenty of space to enjoy games and family time but also spread out to three separate rooms on three floors for couples to have alone time. The only criticism that we have and it is a small thing but we like to shoot pool and it was one of the reasons we picked this cabin. The pool table is too large for the space it is in so you couldn’t play on all sides. But, we loved the place and the stay and would stay here again.

Steve went out of his way to be sure we felt warm and welcome when we arrived. The house and property were very nice and we had a wonderful time.

Our stay was great. Communication when the host was excellent and check in was a breeze. The cabin and property were perfect for our long weekend getaway. Our oups LOVED the femced in 3 acres! The hotvtub and fire pit were amazing! The cabin was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful, peaceful property.

This location is close to Helen and Dahlonega, but quiet and secluded. We enjoyed the fireplace, fire pit, pool table, hot tub, and fenced yard for our friends' dog. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owner, Steve was nice and responsive. We loved having 3 bathrooms available. The bed was comfortable. A perfect place to get away!

We have been coming to Smokerise for many years. Unfortunately the cabin is showing its age and is in need of some updates. For instance the dishwasher is in need of replacement. Its current condition is unacceptable. New plates are in order as well. Kitchen pans and knives are in need of replacement and or sharpening. Most disturbingly the smoke detector in the loft which died during our visit last year has not been replaced. Also only one key was supplied as opposed to two which have been provided in past years. The cabin is in a great location on a great property, but delayed maintenance is taking its toll.

The property was clean and nice. 2.5 acres of wooded property was nice. Could gather free firewood. Nice hot tub.

This cabin was amazing! The layout was perfect for a small group and it was so nice that it was set on a few acres of land. The host was so responsive and helpful, and everything inside was immaculately clean. We are looking forward to staying here again next year. Such a great experience.

The driveway is very narrow and could use repairs, but that's not the owners problem. It's a county road. The property is very secluded and private. We enjoyed the stay. It had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. The house is located in close proximity to Helen and Cleveland. Close to Ingles, grocery store which we frequented. We had a great time just sitting in the porch, relaxing and enjoying each others company. We were college roommates and we take a yearly trip and this location we perfect. The lockbox is a little hard to open as well as the outdoor trash can. The basement stayed hot even with lowering the air, But those are just minor issues. It is a nice place to stay. I would go back.

Beautiful cabin, quiet & peaceful. Our 2 pups got to run & play in their fenced in yard & I walked with them on the path at the edge of the fence. Close & easy to get to Helen GA to visit sites there. Rating s/b 10 plus!!Host really helped with making our stay fabulous!

Great place, only downside was not having a working light in upstairs closet and I couldn’t figure out the ceiling fan in the loft. The property itself was very well kept. Communication was great, beds were comfortable. Home was very welcoming!

What a wonderful property! 3 levels with a bedroom and full bath on each level. Was perfect for 3 couples for a getaway weekend. We came for Crush Fest at Yonah Mountain Winery. This property makes you feel like you’re away from everything but very convenient to Yonah Mountain, Serenity Cellars, and The Jumping Goat. The property is just as described and host incredibly responsive. We felt right at home during our stay. We saw deer from the back porch both mornings while enjoying our coffee!

Absolutely beautiful!!! Check in info arrived well before our day to depart and all was exactly as described. The cabin is secluded and very private. Fence around entire property to assure pets are secure. Cabin and grounds were well maintained and anything that was a must for your stay was provided. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Rooms were well decorated and very roomy and comfortable. It truly felt like home away from home - with amazing views. Everyone loved the hot tub and making s'mores in the fire pit. I loved the cool breeze on the front porch swing. The location was great. Secluded but only 3 miles from plenty of activities and eats. We really loved the place and are hopefully to be able to return for a longer more laid-back trip as this trip was for my Grand-daughters graduation.

Great central location for a Helen stay. Just a few minutes away from downtown and other areas of interest. We enjoyed the hot tub!

I can't say enough about this adorable cabin. It was sizable enough for space and comfort, but also cozy for a small family. The owner, Steve, was very tentative and communicated well with answers to the questions we had. The grounds were well kept, offering a fire pit w/ wood and a fun walking path around the acreage. We will definitely stay at this cabin during our next trip to Helen!

Absolutely loved our stay. All fenced in for the dogs to roam around. Every room with its own bathroom is a huge convenience

Beautiful clean house and great location

Perfect get away spot near Helen. Really enjoyed the layout of the cabin. My granddaughter, 9, got to see a deer and it's fawn from the back deck. We are planning another trip and definitely will be staying here!!!

1st night at the cabin we were lucky enough to watch 2 Black Bears walk across the driveway. The next morning, 6 deer were grazing in the yard. The location is perfect for nature lovers and tourists, as Helen & Cleveland are just a short drive away. The cabin was clean & comfortable. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was in a perfect location for hiking, tubing, zip lines, and if you just want to take it easy in town. We loved it and had a blast.

This was the perfect weekend get-a-way after our daughter graduation from UGA before her and her husband move to ID. We had 6 adults staying and it was perfect. One bedroom and bathroom on each floor. And of course the hot tub was a hit. Would highly recommend and would stay again on our next trip!

We stayed at this cabin for the weekend. It was a lovely place with plenty of room to accommodate our family. Next time we are in the area I will definitely try to stay there again.

Stay was good, cabin all way in back down a one-car road, when other cars driving opposite way have to try and get out of way.. Fire pit not dug into ground and no fire wood, wind blowing fire all over.

All in all, this was a beautiful property in a great location with just a few very minor issues. I would 100% rent here again.The cabin is just minutes from downtown Helen and the local wineries. The entire 3-1/2 acre property is enclosed with goat/hog fencing, so it was perfect to let our dog outside with no worries about him wandering off. Tons of parking, a nice fire pit and a gorgeous back deck with views of the forest. There was plenty of room for everyone with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, although curiously, the room labeled as the master bedroom is in the loft and open to the living room below. Not sure why there is not a wall there for privacy, as it would be easy to add one. It didn't bother us as we used the other rooms but it might be an issue to some people.There is a good assortment of plates and dishes and cookware, along with coffee makers (drip and keurig) and a working fridge and dishwasher. We did notice there was dried food on some of the plates in the cupboard and dirty dishes in the dishwasher though, along with dust and cobwebs on all the windowsills, so not sure if the cleaning service is doing all that great a job. That said, the bathrooms were clean and all the plumbing worked just fine so really not too bad for a vacation cabin. Only other issue we noticed were a lot of light bulbs (inside and out) were burned out and some of the dining room chairs were kind of sketchy to sit on. They could use some glue and TLC...We were there in early April so

The only problem we had was the address not being available on gps so we had to use the convenience store across the road to get back each time. But the host was attentive and the property was just as described. I would suggest getting a TV on the lower level

The cabin was perfectly located at the end of the drive. The views of the mountains were amazing. The communication with the property manager was easy and with a quick response. The location of the propriety is close to Helen. My friends and I enjoyed our stay.

Great house, property, and hosts!

We had a great time at this cabin, despite the rainy weekend. Tons of kitchen supplies to cook with, but bring your own ingredients, spices, oils, coffee, etc. Very very clean and well kept! Lots of cute decor throughout the cabin, as well as games, books, and DVDs! Would have loved to visit when the weather was nicer, as we weren't able to use the hot tub or fire pit, but the gas fireplace was lovely. Highly recommend!

Smokerise is a wonderful cabin at the end of a private and secluded road. While you can see neighbors they are far enough away to have privacy. The property is beautiful and provides a peaceful walk around the grounds. Access to the home is via physical key in a lockbox. Be careful with the front door as it will appear unlocked from the inside and be locked on the outside. The cabin is very well stocked. From the kitchen, to the bedrooms and bathrooms, this cabin has everything you will need. The beds are sufficiently comfortable but not great. If you toss and turn during the night, the bed frames squeak which could keep your house guests awake. Smoke alarm in the upstairs loft was beeping upon check-in. Owner was quick to respond and send maintenance man. Downstairs is a pool table and darts. Hot tub on the back deck was clean and wonderful. It is more private than the listing pictures appear. We felt comfortable and secluded while soaking. Overall it’s a great cabin, beautiful spacious property, close enough to town, but quiet for rest. Would recommend, we plan to stay again!

Overall we had a great weekend away. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. It was convenient to nearby Helen and we were able to relax.

We had such a wonderful time. The property was perfect for our two dogs to be able to run around and get all their energy out. The fireplace was amazing and kept us warm all week long! It felt like home. We were super excited to find an Uno deck and played several hands on several occasions. The property has everything you need and the host is the epitome of southern hospitality. 10/10 recommend!!!

To start, I was able to come a day earlier due to availability with the cabin. We beat the weather and woke up to a beautiful Snow White Friday morning! I recommend staying @smokerise the atmosphere is amazing and the host stayed in contact throughout the icy conditions making sure we had all the amenities necessary.

Second time staying at this cabin. We really like the cabin size, yard fencing, location, & the hot tub. We always have enjoyed our time here. Very clean. Easy communications. Will return.

Very nice touches from the host, kitchen was nice to use. The spa was amazing. Fire place was great! You felt remote enough off the road and yet the drive out was .5 miles. Very responsive host. Would stay agaon!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It's just outside Helen and is in a perfect location. The cabin was the ideal size for our two families. Minus a little dust, the place was clean and cozy. We celebrated Thanksgiving, and there was just enough space for all 6 of us. We really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, checkerboard, dartboard, and pool table. Definitely recommend this place!

We have been coming to Smokerise in the fall for many years now. The cabin pet friendly on a 3.5 acres fenced property. It’s quite yet close to everything Helen has to offer.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin with friends we have had for many years. The cabin was spacious, beautifully decorated, in a lovely setting, and convenient to restaurants and shopping. We had a fabulous time. The owner was quick to respond to any of our questions. I would highly recommend.

The only bad part is the road leading to cabin. The town of Helen has a lack of parking.

Great location! Everything you need for a great time!

Lovely cabin with easy jaunt to Helen, Cleveland and Dahlonega. We were just there for 2 nights to attend a wedding, accompanied by 2 tiny dogs. Everything was exactly where it should have been in the cabin. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owner went out of his way to help, as one of the downloaded files from VRBO containing the important info had been corrupted (not their fault - our internet was broken and many emails weren't working or received for days).

My wife and I spent a couple nights (wish it was more) and the cabin was very nice and clean. Close to town, but far enough for privacy. Great for our two dogs with the fenced yard and close to hiking trails. Hope to visit again!

Nestled away and full fenced, great be it dogs, and kids! Kids enjoyed walking sticks, fire pit and outdoor checkers on the porch. Parents enjoyed the simplicities of cabin life and much needed family time. Listing is exactly what you get. Pleasantly surprised with the furnished kitchen perfect for family breakfast and family dinners. Keep an eye out and you’ll see a family of deer too!
