Beautiful views with Hottub and King bed

A most incredible view of the mountains. Beautiful cabin. So tranquil. Ray our host was very gracious and responsive. Highly recommend.

The host was very rude and he canceled my booking for me having a service animal, he also stated that my dogs were dirty and I had to leave. He didn’t even offer me a refund or try to compromise with me.

BEST STAY EVER. We are so happy we chose this cabin. Very clean and cozy, and the owner was nice and gave us our privacy. Has a kitchen with utensils for you to use, and a nice big tv in the master bedroom woth netflix and all the apps on i. Jacuzzi works perfect, i wish we would’ve picked to stay more days.

The cabin was so cozy a d the views were so beautiful. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation.

Everything was as described, but better!! This is the place to stay, look no further. Ray was great and helpful. This place is exactly as listed. My boyfriend and I had an extended stay and loved it. We were so close to downtown blue ridge for food and shopping and the scenic railway. House was clean and the kitchen had every single thing you could think of needing! Will stay again

We had a wonderful time in Blue Ridge. The cabin is so nice! I love the layout. The two balconies give such a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance. Everything we needed was provided . Great host!

The cabin is conveniently located with beautiful views. The porch swing overlooking the mountains is the most peaceful place. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The owner was welcoming and always quickly responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swannanoa! It was the perfect cozy wooden cabin we were wanting! The deck off the bedroom was perfect for morning coffee while admiring the fantastic view during the day and stargazing at night. The comfy porch swing on the main deck was perfect for evening drinks with the same great view! We enjoyed the hottub and outdoor lights every evening, and it was clean and the perfect temperature. This cabin has everything you would need for a stay in Blue Ridge. Even walking sticks! Be sure to take time and look and the cabin and discover unique touches (the phone speaker on top of the bedroom desk, etc..). We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it everyone else.

Yes, the host was amazing about responding to a message and helping us with wi- fi issues and the door code issue. Other than over 300 dead ladybugs laying around every where it was a wonderful experience.Also, there was no way for us to control the heat as it was very cold.The hot tub was very cloudy and did not look very clean so we chose not to use it.

We were snowed in and it was absolutely magical. The hot tub is amazing, the amenities are generous, the checkout process was a breeze. Incredible romantic getaway!

The cabin was beautiful and rustic - the layout is so cool and provided different areas for hanging out and relaxing. Beautiful views and easy to access.

Very clean, very friendly host, gorgeous view! I would 100% recommend. The neighbors are a little closer than what the pictures look like, but we didn’t actually see anyone while we were there. The drive to the house is about 8-10 minutes from the highway with the majority of the drive after that being all one lane dirt paths littered with pot holes and some pretty steep hills. Make sure your car can handle it!! We went during lady bug season, which, having the cute guys invading the house was fine at first but on the 3rd day it had gotten a bit extreme. No fault on property or home owner just some things to be aware of!

We had an excellent stay. The host is first rate. The cabin is amazing. We loved the decor and all of the thoughtful amenities. The views from the cabin are beautiful. We highly recommend a trip here. Our only regret is we only had two nights and could not stay for a week!

Wonderful get away

Exceptional view of the mountains but difficult road to the cabin. Interior was clean but in need of updates such as lighting and furniture.

This was our third stay at this cabin. The view is amazing. We really enjoy the porch swing overlooking the mountains. The hot tub was great...same mountain view. Ray our host is easily reached and responds quickly.

Beautiful cabin with a wonderful view!

This is a sweet, clean cabin, but getting to it is somewhat treacherous. If it had been raining, I don’t think our vehicle would have made it.

We had an amazing time in Blue Ridge! The host, Ray, was very easy to communicate with and always a quick response. Cabin was very clean and perfect for our cozy get away.

Ray is a wonderful host - very responsive, and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a wonderful little cabin with many thoughtful touches throughout, a wonderful view and a very comfortable bed. On thing to note is that there are visible neighbors on both sides of the cabin.

We really enjoyed the cabin! Located reasonably close to the town of Blue Ridge. The owners have thought of just about everything to make the stay enjoyable. We especially enjoyed: the porch swing, hot tub, well-supplied kitchen, TVs, and the overall decor. Everything was clean, in working order, and well-maintained. There is a nice view off the back deck area. The road to the cabin was a bit of an adventure, but we got used to it after a time or two. Overall, a wonderful stay!

The cabin was small but just what we needed. Great views and quiet and peaceful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swannanoa Cabin. The accommodations were perfect for our mountain getaway. Beautiful views from every room. The hosts had nice little personal touches upon arrival to make us feel extra welcome. We came in late June but the temperatures were great and we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub as well. Minutes away from shopping and awesome restaurants in downtown Blue Ridge. Would highly recommend!

Pros:*Close to every place we visited in Blue ridge*Very clean property*Beautiful porch view and comfy porch swing*Communication with Ray was great; he provided us with lots of restaurant recommendations and things to do nearby. *We were able to check in early; easy check-in and out. Cons:*The gravel (or lack thereof) road to the property is atrocious!!! (Not the owner’s fault) speed limit is 12 mph, but in a 4wd, we could not go over 6mph, or our heads would’ve hit the roof. The road has not had rocks/ limestone added, nor has it been graded in quite some time. *The property has 3 stories. Top story has kitchen and large bedroom. Bedroom has a small window unit, which cools this room adequately, but the kitchen and bath were not cool, despite turning down the thermostat. Keep in mind there are high ceilings. 2nd and 3rd floors are cool. *No washer/ dryer

Loved the cabin. Mountain decor with a splash of whimsy. Lots of deck space to enjoy. Hot tub in good shape. Mountain View off the back deck and did see deer the first morning. A bit of a rough ride up the cabin drive but no trouble in our sedan. Close proximity to town. We were very comfortable. There are cabins on both sides but we saw very little of their occupants. There is an active surveillance camera on the front porch looking onto the drive, I must have missed this in the property description.

Excellent, just what we were looking for!

I booked this trip for our anniversary. It was a perfect romantic get away. The mountain view from the master bedroom balcony was spectacular. The cabin was very clean. The host, Ray had a bottle of wine and chocolate bars to welcome us. He was also very informative on different restaurants and attractions in Blue Ridge, which was helpful being it was our first time there. The location is secluded and peaceful, however the roads getting there is steep, so it's best to have a 4x4 vehicle. We definitely would recommend this rental to friends and family!

This cabin was absolutely wonderful and had everything you could possibly need! Another bonus was how great the host, Ray, is and how communicative and thoughtful he was!

This cabin was extremely well kept. All the facilities listed were high quality and Ray clearly cares about making sure his guests enjoy their stay. I have already recommended this as a great couples getaway for several friends. :)

My husband and I came to stay during spring break while our kids stayed with grandparents. We picked this spot because of the views and it being pet friendly. Our 10 year old lab loved the place as well! The kitchen was stocked perfectly for us to cook all of our meals at the cabin (we did salmon bowls and steak and lasagna over the course of our stay). There’s a 1 mile trail that’s a loop right near the cabin and takes you through the woods. You can also do the road (left turn loop is a great mile and a half hike). There’s other little trails along a creek with waterfalls too. It was so relaxing not leaving at all. We loved the cabin and would highly recommend it.

Property was fine. My negatives were mostly due to the weather (storms) related. The heavy rains eroded parts of the roadway up to the cabin. We essentially lost 2-3 days of our stay because of the weather.There are a few things that should be fixed: 1) Grill is nice looking but the flame baffles need to be replaced. They are burned through in many locations so the grilling had numerous flame ups. We only used the grill once because the grilling was difficult to control with all of the flame ups. 2) During the heavy periods of rain, the kitchen skylight had a slow leak. 3) The lock on the slider out to the upper deck needs to be replaced. It takes time to jiggle the handle to get the latch to fall down so the door could be locked.We enjoyed the cabin otherwise. We did not use the hot tub but we did turn the heat down to 85 on day one so the heater didn't have to run for the week.Blue Ridge was interesting but we are not planning to return. We are in our upper 70's and the steep inclines were not enjoyable to climb. Driving up to the cabin was always thrilling as well. If we were younger, we would likely return and rent this cabin again.

Ray was a great host and was very accommodating. My family had a great time up here for our spring break getaway. The cabin was amazing and the views were breathtaking. Thankful for the opportunity to come up here.

We had a wonderful trip and the cabin had an amazing view. The hot tub looked out into the mountains and gave me an amazing view of the blue ridge mountains. We hope to come again!

The view was amazing and weather was perfect.We really enjoyed sitting out side in the porch and drinking coffee.The sun rise and sun set was beautiful.Definitely a place to visit as a couple.Hot tub was on point, very private!!! Definitely a place to go back! Communication with Ray was good. We were able to check in a little early.Definitely recommend this place.

This was the cutest little cabin for my wife and I. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed to prepare meals. The view was a selling point when I was booking, and it did not disappoint. 10/10, would stay here again!

My wife and I went to this cabin for a quick getaway from the kiddos. It was such a nice easy cabin. Bed was comfortable, Hot tub worked great. Tv's were all easy to use. Internet/Wifi was simple. Kitchen was properly stocked with cooking materials. The only thing we didn't love was the living space with the TV. The couch was a little small for us (we are 6ft each, so take that with a grain of salt right?) to enjoy a show together so we ended up watching in the bedroom more than the living space. Love the location of the cabin being so close to town.

Several years ago, my husband and I were staying at another cabin nearby. We had the pleasure of meeting Ray, who showed us the cabin. He had just purchased and was making renovations to it. Fast-forward six years, we reached out to see if it was available to rent. Luckily , it was available and was exactly what we were looking for. Upon arriving, everything was decorated for the Christmas holiday, which was a real treat. The cabin was spotlessly clean, yet thankfully not over fragranced ( like some rentals we have stayed at.) Ray did a fantastic job to keep us updated and even left us a little gift upon arrival. The cabin is extremely comfortable and the bedroom makes you want to sink in and never leave! The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare and enjoy homemade meals during the stay. We really hope to go again one day. Thank you Ray for a wonderful experience and stay!

Very charming bi-level cabin. The view is beautiful from all the balconies. We were even able to watch a couple of juvenile bears play amongst the trees. Centrally located to town, walking trails, and other attractions. The cabin was well stocked with spices, kitchenware, and paper/cleaning products. The jacuzzi was a welcomed end to the day.

The cabin was absolutely as described and communication with Ray was easy and seamless. We had a wonderful extended weekend. The bed was comfortable and was agreeable with my bad back. The heat worked well and kept us nice and toasty while the temperature dropped to the 20s-30s. We would definitely book again.

My husband and enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was very very clean. The only drawback wasn't anyplace for groceries or our clothes. Ray had coffee, filters, spices, tissues and plenty of toilet paper.

Everything was excellent - location, view, cabin. This is exactly how i imagined my perfect getaway. Every single detail in the cabin is magical. I was afraid to book when i saw 10/10 rating, because it didn't look real, but when we get there we realize that perfect place does exist. Thanks to Ray who gave us all helpful tips.

Great little cozy cabin for couple. When we pulled in to the cabin there was a bear in front of us in driveaway. The bear had opened the trash can eating items from it. We sat in car and waited to he left. I secured the trash can with the wire straps. We didn't see him again and what a surprise!

The cabin itself was great. Clean and well put together. The views are amazing. Quick 15 minute drive to downtown with restaurants and shops. One thing to note: this property is up on a mountain only accessible by dirt roads with a couple of very steep/bumpy spots. It was a little tricky but not too bad for me to get in and out of the property (I have a front wheel drive RAV4). If you don’t have an SUV or a truck, it’s going to be difficult to get in and out of this property.

This cabin is a great one to stay at in Blue Ridge. The cabin was clean, had plenty of supplies, comfortable bed, great views, and a nice hot tub. The welcome note and treats were a nice touch. The owner communicates very well with information about the area and answers any questions you may have. I would recommend this place!
