Looking for a secluded retreat This expansive cabin is the very definition, set on two acres with no neighbors around to make noise. Gaze out onto the San Juan river - you won't believe how close it is! Guests can cook up something delicious in the private gas grill, or just gather around the natural stone firepit and gaze up at the stars. The main deck off the kitchen also provides great views of the river and surrounding mountains. The inside is just as relaxing, with plenty of windows throughout to provide natural light. The living room's picture windows are a particular highlight (get it ). The main bedroom is on this first level, set with a king bed and an en en suite bathroom with a jetted tub. Downstairs, guests can also settle into the second main bedroom, which features a log king bed, an en suite bathroom with a jetted tub, and a separate entrance to the lower patio. The remaining bedrooms are all downstairs: the third bedroom features a log queen bed, the fourth includes one king bed, and the final bedroom features a king bed. No matter what bedroom guests choose, everyone can come help out in the fully equipped kitchen with two sinks and a double oven. There's plenty of room in this cabin in the woods - claim your spot around the fire and enjoy the view!

This is a great house for a lot of people. Plenty of rooms and space to stretch out. Also got a good laugh from the temp shower curtain in the master shower that was being worked on.
Group of friends rode motorcycles in the mountains for a few days, the cabin was a great place to enjoy the beauty of the San Juan mountains and relax. Great place, we will be back next year.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was very spacious, in a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the river. Management was very helpful and responsive regarding any questions. Would love to stay there again the next time we go to Pagosa Springs
Terrible! On the first day some young girl with others came on the property to look for a phone that she said she lost and that her boyfriend said that his GPS indicated the property as the location. She said this to me while opening the front door without knocking and taking a look around. After this a family member indicated to me that they were taking pictures of the vehicles, most likely the license plate numbers. I assumed at this point they could have been the property owners. Who else would do such a thing. If they had any concerns they could have introduced themselves and express their concerns. The next thing I find out is that the location or community has very strict covenants. One of our family members took a ride around the neighborhood and the next thing I have to deal with is an irate association president that laid down the law if you
We were two couples on two motorcycles. Found the driveway easy to navigate. It was just a short stretch of gravel. We were able to use the key by the sink to open the walk-in garage door and park the motorcycles in the garage We did buy and donate a garden hose and a push broom to wash the bugs off the motorcycle, and to sweep the garage and short cement approach in front of the garage Overall, the cabin is very very clean! We stayed in the basement where it was cooler. Open the windows at night third week in June and a few mornings it was in the 30s. In the mornings and up to about 80 during the day. It cooled off very fast at night. The view from the upper deck off the kitchen is incredible. I would say it’s 80 feet above the river maybe more. Behind the house the bank is very steep, almost straight down. The gas station and farm store are about 6 miles away. And Walmart and a larger grocery are 11 miles away. We use the grill outback for hamburgers, and it worked fine after cleaning it up. Will use the push broom on the lower patio to sweep up a little bit but overall the house was very clean. Three couples could stay here very easily. In fact, there are four bedrooms plus bunkbeds in the basement master suite the basement has a kitchen with washer and dryer. There were two coffee makers, and we moved one to the basement bedroom upstairs with a master suite vaulted ceiling that gets early morning sun. We have stayed at many vacation rentals this one rates in the top.
The property is perfect! Really got the Colorado cabin feel!
Beautiful cabin on the river! Was clean and had everything we needed. Very spacious. Husband and I just used the main floor but would be great for a family! Nicest place we've stayed on our many trips to Pagosa!
Large cabin with very well Stocked kitchen if you wamted to cook! Loved playing corn hole when we didn’t get out. Great garages for our cars too! Loved this place!
Exceptionally clean upon check in, perfect base camp for Wolf Creek! Amazing river views with unique furnishings, and the management was very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was only me and my husband this time, but could easily have enough room for two families, we will be back!
Great location but needs major TLC. Spring on garage door broke with our car in the garage resulting in missing my ski lesson. Washer broke & Vacasa wouldn’t fix so after skiing all day had to drive into town to do laundry. Linens were gross. Huge tear in master comforter, sheets so worn they wouldn’t stay on beds. Kitchen faucet needs to be replaced it leaked & sprayed all over you. Lots of light bulbs out. Internet SO slow you could not operate 2 devices at a time. Cleanliness was unacceptable from bugs on kitchen floor & all window seals & bathroom drawers. Who knows the last time the kitchen was actually mopped. Huge dirt & grease spots all over. Even found rotting fruit under the edges of the cabinets in kitchen. Due to all these issues ended up Costing us almost $1000 more on missed ski lessons paid for, & buying more laundry supplies to do out laundry as the washer was never fixed our entire time there. 1 agent told us we could get an early check in after driving all night we arrived & could not enter the house. When we finally got another agent on the phone she said the other agent lied we could just sit in our car until It was ready & would give no ETA on when that would be.
This is a great home for a group looking to spend time together eating, playing games, and catching up. It’s a great layout for multiple units of family and friends.
This large home was perfect for our 2 large families. It was fully stocked with excellent amenities. However, this home needs more TLC particularly in the kitchen and replacement of lower level master bedroom king mattress.
This was a beautiful house and great setting. Short driveway right off the highway for quick access. Was very warm and cozy even with the cold outside temperatures. The heated floors were awesome.
Spacious with a great view of San Juan River. Well heated.
Great
This is a wonderful house and a great location. It would be perfect for a large group. However, this house is in need of a serious cleaning, top to bottom and attention to numerous repair issues. With some TLC, this could be a great property.
The only issue with our stay was the Oven. The home needs a working oven. They should replace it. Communication was great with the rental company. It’s a nice quiet place set a bit apart from other homes which made it more private.
Wonderful memories made during our time staying here.
We enjoyed our weekend stay immensely. Clean home. Riverfront views. We watched humming birds and rafters on the river go by. Only 5 miles out of town but feels secluded. A little large for just two of us but decided we will bring the whole family next time. Thank you for lending us your beautiful home.
