This was an adorable little cabin that was quite easy to get to and was in the middle of basically everything we wanted to see. The cabin itself was cozy but the owners had some unusual requests as far as keeping it warm enough for our family, especially when it snows mid-trip.There wasn't really any good places for our pup to go to the bathroom, so that was a bit of a challenge but we loved that we were able to bring him with us. Overall, it was a sweet little cabin that we loved calling home during spring break.

This cozy and comfortable mountain house served as a wonderful base for our mountain hiking trip. Conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway and Linville Falls area, we were just a short ride away from amazing hikes and views. The owner was exceptionally helpful with suggestions and information. Very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The house has all the comforts you would want - outdoor fireplace and grill, spa, and comfortable furnishings both in and out.Additionally, we were a short ride from Banner Elk and Blowing Rock for some excellent food, treats, and shopping. A trip definitely worth making again. We look forward to another visit here soon!

I will start with my only negative on this home. The driveway is very small. We had our Ram truck and it fit under the covered parking area. But a bigger vehicle might not fit. That's it. Everything else was so good. The house had multiple reminder notes around it. Which I find very helpful. The kids and I loved every well placed detail. The toy closet was a huge hit. We're hoping to book this home again in the future.

This property checked every box we were hoping for during our Memorial Day weekend getaway! It struck the perfect balance of whimsical charm, cozy comfort, and a touch of luxury. After a long day of hiking, coming back to the outdoor space—with its fireplace and hot tub—was the ultimate way to relax.Inside, the home is thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need (or may have forgotten), making it feel like a true home away from home. The decor is unique, inviting, and full of personality. We brought our dog along, and were pleasantly surprised to find pup-friendly touches like dog beds, towels, and waste bags ready for use.The location is ideal—just minutes from wineries, great hikes, and quaint, delicious restaurants. Plus, there are so many amenities on the property we didn’t even have time to enjoy fully: pickleball and tennis courts, a peaceful river with kayaks and paddleboards… it really is an all-in-one retreat. We’re already planning our next stay—this place is a gem!

What a cute little cabin with a cottage core vibe! It has everything you need to stay a week or two. Even though the property is small you feel it's secluded and private and perfectly appointed. It's in a great spot to enjoy all the area attractions, hiking, BBQ spots, craft beers, shopping...the list goes on. It's so quiet there, we slept in every morning! Great place to get away from it all and unwind

This little mountain cabin was the perfect fit for me, my husband, and our dog. It was nice and clean when we arrived. The parking under the awning is a little tight, but we were able to fit our full size pickup under there and open all the doors just fine. The living area is very cozy, and the sofas are super comfortable. 4 dog blankets are provided to cover the sofas so your dog can sit up there with you. My dog’s large crate fit perfectly between the loveseat and tv table. The host, Melissa, has included a log book so visitors can write a journal entry about their stay. Toward the back of the cabin, there are cute bunkbeds and a little room under the stairs filled with books and toys. That room includes the back entrance to the cabin, and the larger bathroom/laundry is connected to that room as well. The upstairs is the master bedroom. It includes an en-suite bathroom with a stand up shower. The shower is a little tight, so I used the downstairs bathroom for showers while my husband used the upstairs one. The closets have plenty of felted hangers to use. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. There were plenty of throw blankets throughout the cabin. There were many different lighting options including overhead lights, dimmable pendants, lamps, and fairy lights in several rooms. We utilized the picnic table under the overhang outside, had a fire in the outdoor fireplace, and enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Melissa!

This bungalow was an excellent stay. Pictures and description were accurate. Whimsical decor everywhere you looked. Wonderful attention to detail. Extremely cozy and beautiful. We had everything we need to cook in regards to pots, pans, dishes, etc. Our children LOVED their bedroom, the toy closet, and book selection. Beds were super comfortable. The house is very close to other houses but the outdoor area makes it very private. We used the outdoor fireplace and hot tub. We did have issues with the hot tub- we couldn’t raise the temp above 99. The owners were very responsive but we still couldn’t figure it out. We still enjoyed the tub though and the stars were beautiful. This house was an excellent stay though I would say may not be suitable for more than 4 people, and perhaps larger individuals may find it a bit too small.

If we did not have so much rain I would have enjoyed the outside fireplace and hot tub, but that is not the owners fault. It is so nice they are there. There are 2 covered porches and the back was my favorite. The whole place is so private because of all the plants. You feel isolated, but your not. Despite proximity to a variety of outdoor explorations, this cabin’s super power is the escape within. The feel of a large wooded estate shrunken to a small cabin on a 1/2 acre (only a guess) lot. Beautiful and varied landscape to meander and rest that is within only a few steps. Even the gentle, never seen, sounds of a large housing neighborhood seem to fade into the relaxation and reflection. Highly recommend. But an honest warning. 2-B, 2-B 2-bunks make 2-young children doable, but definitely too tight and may cancel the R&R feel
