Beautiful Log Cottage Located Along Pine Creek

The cabin was perfect for our stay. It was quiet and cozy. We'll furnished and clean. Located close to good fishing, food, and an easy drive to Wellsboro for any other needs. The host was always quick to respond and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again on future visits to the area.

Nice cottage- close to wellsboro, cherry springs and hiking trails. Cozy vibe, relaxing backyard. The address on the listing is incorrect, use the one u get after the confrimation- we drove to wrong location. The contact number is also incorrect on the listing on vrbo- use the one in confirmation. Worth the stay.

The cottage was beautiful. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we could not stay the entire because of an impending snowstorm. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Everything was in perfect order as always. The bed is very comfortable and we love sitting outside on the patio out back. I brought my binoculars to watch the night sky and it was beautiful. There's also a very nice walking trail past the backyard which used to be a railroad 150 years ago.

The cabin was so warm and inviting. Very clean and we tried to leave it the way we found it. You can tell the host wants you to enjoy your time there.

Cabin back yard was adorable, very beautiful. Super fun to be able to hike out back down to the creek. Cabin was clean and very cozy, we did not want to leave.

Cottage was very comfortable and had plenty of kitchen appliances and utensils to use. I was hoping it was closer to wellsboro but it was nice and quiet except for highway traffic.

The cabin is very clean and private. We really enjoyed the views we saw of grand canyon when we went on our drive and short hike. And a bonus view was a small black bear on colton road.

One of the nicest cottages with everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Spent lots of time outside. Enjoyed eating on the deck with covered canopy. My great neice enjoyed swinging. My sisters enjoyed sitting on the swing. Loved walking on the trail behind the cottage. Water in the stream was at a real low level. Did see a crawdad in it though. Saw a black squirrel. Enjoyed eating at a few restaurants in Wellsboro. Got to see the gas lights lite up at night. Also got to both rim outlooks. Beautiful views and surprisingly warm weather. I would definitely stay here again.

I really loved the place and will book again for a longer period of time. We come to the Wellsboro area twice per year (my happy place) just to relax, eat, and do a thing or two, and this was the first time staying out of town. We loved it!!!

Route is a very busy highway with some road noise. Very clean cabin and excellent landscaping. Fun covered back patio.We really enjoy our stay.

A cozy cottage with all the ammenities needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage has been updated since the pictures of it have been posted by the owner. It's bright and feels like a large place. I expect a place to be clean and this place was super clean, from the bathroom to the baseboards. The outdoor space was pefect for us to eat on the back deck, lounge by the campfire, and read on one of the many swings/gliders/chairs between the front pourch and back yard. There were even a set of swings for my child to enjoy. It sits on a busy road so the only downside is how noisy the road can be with early morning traffic. It's conveniently located near Colton Point and Leonard Harrison State Parks. We would stay again, for sure!

The cabin was nice and clean. Back porch was beautiful and I loved walking the trail. My issue was the email I received just prior to check in. I've stayed numerous other places over time and I do not mind some rules but it was excessive. It even stated that since it wasn't a full week not to use certain amenities that had been listed. I felt as though my booking wasn't important so I did not enjoy my stay as much as I should have. I will not book here again. FYI it is illegal to burn plastic due to the highly toxic cancer causing chemicals it releases into the atmosphere.

Clean, friendly cabin nestled in the PA Wilds. Cabin was just what we were looking for. Met and exceeded expectations. Window AC were clutch. Perfect for 2 - 4 adults depending on the configuration. Would recommend. Plan to stay here next year, and years to come, for the Wellsboro Rally Cross race. Cheers!

The house was a thoughtfully decorated and comfortable space. It was close to the PA Grand Canyon and sort of close to Cherry Springs. You can see the stars from the backyard when the moon is right. It’s close to the main road so keep in mind that you’ll hear the road when you’re outside. It’s perfectly quiet inside though. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely time at this cabin. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The back yard is very nice and loved sitting on the front porch. Location was great - easy access to many scenic areas. Good restaurants in the area as well.

Immaculately kept cabin home with everything needed for a restful stay. The back porch and area out back include beautiful spots to enjoy a meal or the firepit. Nicely located about 10 miles from the lovely town of Wellsboro. The Log Cabin Restaurant is only 2 miles away and has delicious food. There are many state parks nearby, including the Little Grand Canyon. We would love to return in the fall.

My wife & I enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very nice and the area is beautiful.

This cabin was so clean. It was wonderful. Located on the main highway, however we never noticed any traffic noise. We were even out in the backyard with a fire. The location to the Rail Trail and Pine Creek was literally a walk through the yard. The property is very well maintained and very clean. The loft area gets very warm, however if you keep the fans (which are owner provided) on, it really helps to regulate the temperature. We thoroughly enjoyed this Cabin. Make sure to bring your own condiments, spices and storage bags, foil. The pots and pans and silverware and dishes are fine. Salt and Pepper shakers were included as well as dish soap, hand soap. We absolutely loved this cabin and it was located near ALL the parks. We suggest this cabin with 5 stars.

Everything was clean and as advertised. Slightly surprised to receive a message about the property details and check in procedures to include bringing our own toilet paper and paper towels, but that is very minor. Will be back to wellsboro again!

This cabin was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and so very conveniently located near the hiking/biking trails. The park like setting of the backyard was very relaxing and enjoyable. There is some road noise however, but it didn't bother us. There are a couple great restaurants down the road, and Wellsboro is 10 minutes away for lots of restaurant choices. Communication with the owner was easy and fast. We loved this rental home!

Very clean nice highly recommend. Was basically there to sleep did alot of touring and sight seeing. Would been nice to sit out back or on porchs and take in the beauty for sure of this property. Beautiful quiet peaceful location.

Only thing we could ask for was some sun shine. Also a option to watch Netflix vmcabin had CDs to watch but no player.

Lovely cabin is well appointed and cozy. Back porch was a favorite spot for us during our three nights. Cabin is near to the town of Wellsboro which was a wonderful place to explore. Surrounding countryside is beyond beautiful. Highly recommended this rental.

We enjoyed the stay very much however however we had to early do to a medical issue. The property is well maintained and very clean,anyone would should enjoy their time here. It is also located in a very convenient location. Thank very much Jeff

This was the coziest cabin getaway! Perfect for my husband and I! Loved the loft area-perfect for reading. The cabin was immaculate, so clean! Couldn’t ask for more. The view out the back was wonderful as well. Peaceful woods. Location is great. Close to the two parks - Colton State Park and Leonard Harrison Park. Close to the covered wagon tour we did and within miles of Wellsboro. Just a great place to stay!

Cute little cabin in a great location between both Blackwell and Coudersport. It was loud sunce it is located on the main road. We didn't spend a lot of time out back because the mosquitos were so bad, but it was beautiful.

We used the cabin as a home base for exploring the Pine Creek Gorge. Access to the gravel bike path, West Rim hiking trail and rafting were less than 5 minutes away. The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us and had great outdoor space. We didn't have power when we first arrived due to a storm and the owner actually offered to put us up in her home, which was beyond generous! Thankfully, power was back before it even got dark. Great place to stay!

My family had a fantastic time. Cottage was adorable and even more than we expected. Landscaping was perfect and the location too! Will definitely stay again. My daughter wanted to live there and she even said mom you need to buy this❤️ Thank you for sharing your cottage with my family to create wonderful memories!!

My fiancé and I wanted a short getaway for my birthday, to rest, and do a little hiking and exploring. This was lovely for that and perfect for a couple even though it could have accommodated several other people. The cabin is quaint, clean, and well appointed, if one accounts for the usual issues with pots and pans being a bit less than ideal but this is typical for cabin rentals. The path along Pine Creek is wonderful and the overlooks on either side of the gorge are well worth the drive and the walk. The back yard of porch are wonderful places to kick back after a day of hiking. It is always adorned with 2-3 rabbits grazing away. The only draw back for this cabin is the traffic on Route 6. While the cabin sits back a ways from the highway the sound really carries. I suspect its the valley that amplifies the sound but the truck traffic is pretty relentless and being in the back yard does little to help. Being inside is okay and the place is well enough insulated that its pretty quiet. That aside, still a very nice stay and a great place. If you are there for more that 3 nights do go into Wellsboro. Its a quaint town and lovely to visit.
