Beautiful, elegant and restored Historic Lodge in Northern Minnesota.

Beautiful property, loved the kayaks and paddle boards on-site. Easy to work with property manager. Has everything you need to make meals and the washer and dryer was a huge plus! Sleeping arrangements were great with lots of options.

It was a wonderful place to stay for winter break. The cabin is cozy with enough space to separate or be together in one room. The property in the winter is peaceful and beautiful. The host is very responsive if you need him and the cabin was clean. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans you need. Bring paper towels or napkins. We would stay again.

Wonderful, historic log cabin (updated for modern conveniences) at the edge of the wilderness. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and it is always so peaceful! The cabin is beautiful, the supplied water activities were a hit with the whole family, and the new firepit was a nice addition to see and use! Tim was very easy to work with and kept us updated on some things that impacted our stay (plumber had to come and fix a toilet after we checked in and the oven didn't work). The plumber was friendly, professional, and fast! I can't recommend this cabin and town enough! Love the atmosphere and the history behind it. Always 5 stars from me!

Our stay was wonderful. The place was very clean and well stocked on everything we needed for the stay. Having the boat’s available was just another bonus. Would highly suggest it for your family vacations

Just finished our second stay and we loved it just as much as the first time.

A beautiful historic cabin with all the essentials. Extremely well stocked with kitchen tools and bedding. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Having the use of the boats was great. No issues. A 5 star rating!

Beautiful historic log cabin with all the amenities you would want. The grounds are well kept and very scenic. The area is very peaceful, relaxing, and interesting. This is our second year coming to the Marcel Lodge and have had a fantastic experience both times.

Beautiful and cozy place. Very clean and has everything you would need. Only negative thing is we all agreed upon is beds could be a little more comfortable. Definitely will stay again when in the area.

The cabin was wonderful. It was very clean, plenty of room, plenty of towels and supplies. Having a little beach to ourselves was amazing. The boat and dock were great. Every one of us said we have to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. There are many modern amenities within this historic building. The central air was key during our late July stay! The detail and craftsmanship of these old CCC buildings is breathtaking. Great beach and fire pit.

We had another amazing stay! We’ve been coming for 5 years. Great campfire area, nice fishing boat, paddle boards, and kayaks. Private location is very nice.
