This beautiful, well-appointed three-bedroom cabin-style home in Tahoma has all the features you need for an unforgettable getaway with family or friends, including easy access to Lake Tahoe, the ability to cross-country ski from your front door, and more! This home is located less than a mile from the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, so summer lake activities are made easy, including access to the owners’ beach. Take the 72-mile trek around the perimeter of the lake, stopping off to grab a bite to eat, take a swim or a hike, and view stunning vistas. In the winter, Sugar Pine State Park is steps away, so you can cross-country ski on the groomed trails or snowshoe from your front door. In warmer seasons, hike on Sugar Pine’s trails down to the lake and spend a beach day next to the historic Hellman-Erhman Mansion (about a 20-minute walk). Homewood Resort is three miles away for downhill skiing and boarding. And if you need to pick up ingredients for dinner, the market is only a mile away.
When you're home, you'll revel in the comfort and warmth of this home, which boasts a log cabin exterior and interior, all new wood floors, and a brand new, well-equipped kitchen. The woodstove will warm you up on chilly nights, and the selection of family games allows for plenty of fun time together. There is plenty of space for the children to play, the cabin is set on two-level lots in a quiet, safe neighborhood. You'll also have flatscreen TVs in all of the bedrooms and an extra-large flatscreen with a soundbar in the living room. Make a scrumptious meal in the very well-equipped kitchen, or outdoor barbeque, with all the cookware and extensive spices you might need, then enjoy the sunny deck afterward and watch the sun go down while the private washer/dryer takes care of the laundry. And bring your cable and charge your electric car using the 220-volt outlet.
You're just over two miles from Homewood Resort for all of your winter adventures and warmer weather dirt biking. In the summer, take a short walk to the owner's beach on the lake, into Sugar Pine State Park's trails, or down to the coffee/ice cream shop and new gastropub.

Fabulous time at this Cabin for our family - perfect location and remarkable way to enjoy the Lake! Situated in the heart of the west shore of Lake Tahoe, you’ll have access everything you need - sking, hiking and time on the water - great restaurants also near by. We experienced spring like weather during our stay in April; spent the days hiking and biking with the kids - and took in some truly amazing views…. Returned to the cabin for some nice R&R time on the back deck, followed by nights at home by the fire with some competitive board game play - supported by a complete kitchen ideal for families looking to cook and plenty of space for everyone to get a good night's rest. Clean, comfortable and fully stocked, we had everything we needed for an incredible vacation. See you again soon!
Overall it was a clean and recently updated cabin in a nice area. We chose it for 5 adults because it was advertised as 1 King & 2 Queen beds. We received an email a few weeks before, asking if we would mind if owners changed to twin bunk beds and we said it would not work for us and asked to please wait until after our stay. When we arrived there was not a 2nd Queen and the twin mattress bunk bed not so comfy for a 5 ft 10 person.. The ad said it sleeps 8 but it is a small space, tricky getting 5 adults ready with one shower. The dining table just has 6 chairs. The kitchen is beautiful with nice appliances, dishes, pots and pans. Missing advertised coffee grinder which we had counted on and had to go out and buy ground coffee in the morning. There were a few spices but no cooking oil or condiments, and only 2 wash cloths and hand towels. The last of these easily remedied if we knew ahead of time.
The house was great and looked just like it did in the pictures which was great. The only complaint I would have is that the backyard is fairly open and can be entered from anywhere, but other than that this house was great, the included amenities were great as well. I would definitely stay at this house again in the future.
