Beautiful brook-side log cabin on 3 private acres - 2 bed, 1.5 bath, entire home

The house was perfect for the 4 of us - large communal space, everything we needed in kitchen, and large comfortable bedrooms. If I had questions Evan responded quickly.

This cabin was very cozy and comfy. Me and my family had a great time. The river water had a very calming sound that was nice to wake up to.

This was place is so immaculate.

I had another amazing stay at this cabin! Truly a lovely place and very well cared for. I'll keep coming back!

Went on a solo trip to this location. I was looking for a glamping experience and it gave me everything I needed. 10/10 recommend!!

The house was amazing and to sit and listen to the creeks have coffee in the morning, was worth the trip. The Sheets and Towels were great. We will definitely be back.

This property was a perfect place for our family and my daughter to get ready for her wedding. It was a beautiful space to take pictures on her special day. The new couple loved having a place to come to after the wedding. It was comfortable and peaceful.

Some old friends and I had an incredible time at this cabin for our retreat from the world. The atmosphere of the property was excellent, and the cabin was clean and well appointed. We'll definitely be back soon!

We loved our two nights at the cabin. The sound of the brook is so calming and the cabin itself is so charming! The cabin was perfectly clean upon our arrival, it was really well stocked in the kitchen (there was olive oil, salt pepper, and other spices for us to use) Make sure you bring your own shampoo and conditioner and body wash. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the linen duvet cover had a nice, luxurious feel. The front porch has really nice adirondack chairs to sit in and a beautiful view of nature and the brook.It's a smart house so you just have to get used to telling Alexa to turn on/ off the lights and the fireplace, because you can't really turn the lights on/off with a switch. Took a little getting used to, but it wasn't a big deal!Overall, 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

I had an excellent stay at this cabin during the holidays. It was an ideal blend of classic and modern with the true rustic look of a beautifully restored log cabin with smart home features and comfort.There was one little hiccup on the night of my check-in but the host responded quickly and followed up to make sure everything was resolved. Location felt secluded but was very close to nearby attractions such as coffee shops, restaurants, a cider mill, hiking trails, and a quaint walkable downtown.The gas oven cooked and baked my holiday meal to perfection. The linens were cozy. The piano was a nice touch.I could go on and on with positive things to say but I'll end with that I think the cabin was even better than what was listed. A true gem. We had an amazing stay at the cabin. Very clean and welcoming, easy check in. The only issue was using the television. We had to reset it so it would stop rebooting.

I cannot say enough about this property. It is literally the perfect spot for a vacation getaway. The home itself is flawless. It is immaculate and “well stocked” does not begin to describe the thought and effort the owners have put into the rental. They have everything, and then back ups of everything, and extras of the back ups. The entire home is run by a Smart Home app through voice commands, which turn on and off lights, adjust the air conditioning, lock the doors, turn on the TV, etc. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the linens and amenities are top-line. The owners did not skimp on anything. The property is so well maintained and peaceful beyond measure. The front porch is gorgeous and comfortable and you feel as though you are all alone in the middle of a fairytale about a cabin in the woods. Yet, within a 2 minute drive is a conscience store with all the necessities, and a Dunkin Donuts. 8 minutes away in either direction are giant supermarkets, restaurants, charming downtown areas, State parks, hiking trails, etc. If you are looking for somewhere to recharge in pristine nature, and do so in total comfort, but also be able to run out to buy wine and lobsters, this is your ideal vacation home.

We were very pleased with the cabin. It was very clean and very well stocked with any needed supplies. The check-in process went very smooth and our host checked in via email to see if we had any problems. Having moved out of Torrington 28 years ago and still have friends and relatives in the area, this cabin in Harwinton was perfect.

The cabin is awesome! It’s a great mixture of mountain solitude with great restaurants and things to do with in a 5-15 mins drive.
