Stayed May 22, 2026We enjoyed our stay at this homey little cabin on a beautiful lake surrounded by nature. On a clear day, you can see Mt Redoubt. Very quiet area but still close to town. We were welcomed back one day by a Mama moose right off the driveway and saw a porcupine on our way out one morning. Tom and Elaina were excellent hosts. Perfect stay for our 35th Anniversary.

Stayed Jul 20, 2025The property was exactly as described on the VRBO website. The view of the lake and mountains was fantastic as we looked out the large window in the kitchen and dining area. The house was ideally located to accommodate our fishing, hiking, and sightseeing. The hosts were very friendly and respectful of our privacy during the stay. We highly recommend this property and will consider it for our lodging needs during future trips to Alaska.
