Family getaway. The log home surely met our expectations. The owner has done a great job in providing comfort and created a welcoming environment with decor and newer furnishings. We loved the open-concept living area, and it kept everyone together, regardless of where they were in the house. The game room was a great add-on feature, and star-gazing in the hot tub was amazing. If you plan on using the kitchen or cooking, it is recommended to bring supplies such as paper towels, dish liquid, sponge, coffee filters, and like necessities (TP). Due to the nature of renters, checking cleanliness of pots, pans, plates, silverware, glasses before use is a good idea (several required cleaning before use). These we in no way show stoppers and we look forward to a future return.

This place was great! We had a great time. Be sure to bring essentials with you (hand soap, paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper, etc).

Weekend escape with the family was perfect. The home exceeded our expectations, awesome rental and surrounding area. The house was very clean and cozy. The bedrooms were perfect size and the master bath was an added bonus. Hot tub outside was super relaxing at night under the stars and outdoor fire pit had wooden stairs that lite up as you walked down keeping you safe.There was something to do for everyone in the family and plenty of room for gatherings. We would absolutely rent this home again!

Great location, clean space, and comfy beds

The property is great. The listing should advise that 4WD or AWD vehicles are highly advisable in inclement weather. Recommend owners stock the property with consumables such as paper towels, trash bags, dish washer pellets, laundry detergent and at least 2-ply toilet paper. These inexpensive basics would go a long way to making guests feel a lot more welcome, especially at this price level. The heat turned off our last night there. Since we were leaving that morning it wasn’t a terrible problem. It would have been a real problem if it happened earlier in our stay.

All was great except the jacuzzi stopped heating the day before we left.

Very inviting cabin. The hot tub was ready to go when we got there. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. We played pool and had a fire almost every night down stairs. Beautiful area and not too far to the supermarket for food and any items forgotten from home.

did not use the hot tub, the cabin was very nice and clean and comfortable, my son stayed on the couch we only used one of the bedrooms, the game room was very nice and we enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

Everything about this cabin was fantastic. From the view to the play room. We loved the hot tub and all the games they had to play.

My family and I were very happy with our entire stay at the cabin. We had plenty of room in our rooms, common area, and bathrooms. We came for a family member’s wedding so the entire experience was wonderful.

This is a beautiful home, secluded & quiet, with a very relaxed vibe. We enjoyed being there with Family for our 40th Anniversary. Though it had all amenities listed, some things don't work or aren't well updated. Not as well stocked with basics (soap, toilet paper, cooking oil etc) as we expected...wish we had known to better prepare & provide our own items. No mtn view early Fall, too many trees/leaves block. Saw no bears though!!! Overall would recommend for quiet getaway, but do prep.

This was such a cute property. It was clean and well kept. Plenty of room for our friends and family that were with us to to lounge and play games and enjoy the hot tub. We absolutely roasted marshmallows around the fire. Would absolutely rent this property again.

Easy check-in and check-out. Very clean and cozy. Loved the remote location. Exactly what we wanted for a truly relaxing vacation that we wouldn’t need a vacation from.

Four friends and I enjoyed our time in the cabin. We particularly enjoyed the spacious kitchen (with every tool you could need), the hot tub, and that we each could have a room of our own. Playing fusball and shooting pool were a lot of fun. Oh and the stars there! It was incredible to see the stars at night there. (Most of us live in big cities.)

To celebrate my 60th birthday I invited a few of my girlfriends to a girls cabin getaway. We had a great time, the cabin was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. My family and I were celebrating my Mom’s 60th! However, there are a few things that could be improved upon. The place was not as clean as I would have expected there were dead bugs all over the counters when we arrived, but we chalked that up as staying in a cabin in the “woods” it’s bound to happen. The hot tub was not as maintained as we would have liked, and this was one of the things we were looking forward to MOST. When we arrived the water level was extremely low and water was not reaching the filter, we filled it up to the appropriate level but the chemicals seemed off as well. All the handles to adjust the jets were missing as well as one of the headrests to one of the seats. It was an older hot tub so my guess is the handles cracked over time and were maybe removed and not replaced. The upstairs was very WARM at night and was difficult to sleep. Overall, we made the best of it and my mom still enjoyed her 60th birthday in the mountains!

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the secluded and calming atmosphere provided by the cabin.

We were looking for a place to meet in the middle for the Holidays. The cabin was exactly as listed. Clean, spacious and enough room for everyone to enjoy. Kitchen was larger than expected and fully stocked. We made 2 large meals and had enough plates and pots & pans. The lower level was a tad chilly as we ran out of wood for the stove but got a bundle at a local store. Beds were super comfortable. Bring some toilet paper though. Would definitely rebook.

Overall a good stay for thanksgiving with the family. spacious and clean, definitely a cabin in the woods as the trees must really block any mountain views in the summer. The river is about a 1/2mile down the hill and we noticed that most of the riverfront was posted property. Needs an electric skillet, fixed foosball table.

Love this place! Our special needs son asked us to take him to a mountain cabin for his birthday and this place was perfect. Great location and amenities we absolutely loved it. The just was responsive to our pre trip communications and provided all necessary information.

The house lived up to the billing. It was comfortable and extremely well kept. The kitchen was fully equipped and ready for culinary creativity. The seclusion yet accessibility to regional attractions makes it a great choice. The owner was very accommodating and accessible. Overall a great choice and one worth repeating.

Google tried to send us to a different house, but luckily we arrived with enough light to see the correct house! Make sure you follow the ones given to you when you book! The pictures should probably be updated on the listing, but even still, we were not disappointed. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the master bedroom and bathroom! Hubby and I loved spending our 20th anniversary here and would love to come back with the family!

My family and I enjoyed being on the mountain in this beautifully appointed cabin.

The cabin was awesome with plenty of space and lots of options for fun. We loved playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub and lounging by the fire pit.

Spacious and clean house. Nice basement with pool table and foosball. Great hot tub!

Only issue. Living room fan was working properly. Kitchen shape knives were horrible for cutting. Other wise nice relaxing stay.
