Bear Crossing - New Luxury Mountain Getaway near Luray & Skyline

Beautiful location, house has a great layout to have multiple people and be together or have some privacy. The kitchen is a great set up and lots to do!

Was wonderful. The kitchen had everything you could need. The host was very responsive when we had a question. Will return to this beautiful home.

Loved this cabin! Would definitely book here again! My only suggestion would be to get some string lights and hang around the property, back yard mainly so that being out at night isn’t as scary.

First let me say the house was beautiful!! Communication with the owner was great. The landscaping was lacking. The yard wasnt maintained, if the grass was cut I would have given it a better review. In the picture the firepit showed more seating however there was only one chair and wood blocks that need to be replaced. There is also a light in the bathroom that needs attention. The pool sticks for the pool table need to be replaced the tips are no longer functional and one of the games is broken. I could not enjoy the hot tub because the grass around it was too high These are all minor changes but I would definitely stay again, the atmosphere is quiet and the people are friendly. Overall it was a pleasant stay. And i love how the cabinets have pictures inside to show what goes where. Great touch

The cabin functioned very well for our family gathering; the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. One issue was the road up to the cabin was rough and there was nothing special at the property except woods. Taking our trash to the city dump a few miles away was annoying although that was clearly communicated in the property description.

Very very happy with our stay. Was very clean and plenty of space. Was exactly like it said in description and pictures.

This was a family reunion for our family, ages 5-74. There was plenty to do within the house and nearby. It was extremely warm this past week. Two areas of concern, the upper level was really warm, Also water in master bathroom, although turned up to full heat did not get fully warm.Overall, we made some great memories!

Beautiful, clean home.Communication with host was awesome!When the say in the mountains, it’s literally up the mountain. Don’t take a low ground clearance vehicle.

Great place! Very clean and well organized. It was such a great place to stay and had plenty of room for each person to either be intregrated with others or spend some time alone. So much space that was welcoming and comfy. Note, bring your firewood and be aware of bears. We were there over a holiday weekend and the dump was closed both Sunday and Monday. So, while we didnt feed the bears, they helped themselves to the trash bin.

A mountain home with great features and decor. With young adult kids that need space the multi floor bedroom layout is nice. Hot tub was great.On a clear star lit spring night with a fire it was wonderfully quiet. Luray isn’t far and Ciro’s pizza in Stanley was a very good small town pizza place. A relaxing getaway.

We had such a nice time getting away for the weekend in this beautiful cabin. The kids loved playing pool, foosball, and air hockey. And the adults enjoyed wine by the indoor fireplace!

Great house.

These home was amazing!!! Except, the owner needs to check the hot water tank. The water would never get above lukewarm. That is the only complaint we had. We had to boil water to wash our dishes as there was not enough hot water to run the dishwasher.

We stayed here to celebrate my mom’s birthday. There were 11 of us, ranging in age from 7 to 70. The cabin was the right size so that we weren’t on top of each other. And there was plenty to entertain the kids - video games, a pool table, and an air hockey table. We adults enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. It’s a lovely cabin, looks just like the pictures. Very convenient location for all the day trips we took. Would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to the area.

Wonderful neighborhood

This place was absolutely amazing. Plenty of space for everyone. Even my son who is in a wheelchair was able to move around with ease. Loved sitting upstairs and listening to my adult children in the basement playing pool and laughing. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderfully spacious beautiful home, amazingly even larger than the pics present it as. Having a Hot Tub, Pool Table & Fire pit @ located in the woods make it great for private group entertainment. The kitchen is a great size, with an additional small fridge built in. Bedrooms are on all 3 levels with 1 AC, but it’s manageable with sweatshirts.

Property was perfect! The road up is a bit challenging for touring motorcycles. We had an excellent stay!

Wonderful experience in Shenandoah staying at Bear Crossing. The inside was just as described, very clean, cozy and beautiful. The outside, probably due to the storms the last few days needed some tending. The porch needed to be cleared off of limbs, twigs, etc. so the kids could play on the porch. Hot tub was clean and wonderful. Due to only one thermostat in the house on the main level the upstairs loft bedrooms got uncomfortably warm. Great location for getting away with the kids and grandkids to enjoy the beautiful scenery
