Clean, Rustic and good amenities for the stay

It was often difficult in the kitchen to use the appliances. Some plugged in. Some worked and some did not. Floors felt gritty if you walked around barefoot. Tv screen was smeared and dead bugs stuck on it. Temperature settings were perfect. Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean. Blankets in living room needed to be washed, smelled musty.

What a cozy cabin for a small family trip! Near hiking and a winery. The kitchen was nice as the dining options are limited in that area.

A good choice for an overnight stay when visiting Linville Falls and Grandfather Mountain. The location was awesome with peaceful surroundings. We would definitely revisit. The only recommendation would be changing to LED lighting as the lighting was dim. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

Very convenient location for hiking in Linville Gorge. Spent most of the time out hiking and just used as a place to sleep and it served us well.

Really great place and amazing value! Easy to get to in Linville Falls and close to the caverns and Banner Elk. House is cozy and clean. Even though the listing allows smokong on designated areas, there isnt any smell in the house. I assume the designated area is outside.

Great location in regards to Linville Falls and Gorge. Cozy and comfortable little cabin with full amenities. The owners are very friendly and communicative.

great communication and lovely old fashioned lodge. fully stocked with kitchen and bedroom needs. still has christmas decor and not very clean. Bedding was questionable so we washed. Great location and rockhouse was amazing for breakfast!

We loved the cottage and really appreciated how dog friendly the hosts are. We had a quick post Thanksgiving getaway and loved spending time with our son at App State. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone traveling with their 4 legged family members.

Cabin is very cozy and excellent staging area due local attractions. The host is very friendly and professional.

This was a great cozy cabin in the woods! We used the fire pit at night and the kitchen for a couple meals. We didn't get to see the local bear but the place was great. The road leading to the house is tight so I wouldn't recommend bringing a big trailer but our sprinter made it no problem and a short trailer wouldn't be a problem either.When we were leaving we met the host and she was very nice too. We would gladly come back.

Had a nice time. Bathroom mirror light did not work. Other than that everything was lovely.

It was nice to find a place that allowed our dog to be with us.

The house was pet friendly. It was def. in the woods. I wouldn't have stayed if my husband wasn't with me. Bathroom was small no towel rack over all ok.

The cabin was very quiet and secluded. It felt like glamping in the woods. Everything was great.

Very pleasant stay and worked out great for us as we explored the areas around Linville Falls. Did want to mention that the kitchen light was burned out, but that was just a minor thing.

Check in was easy. Great location - loved how tucked away it was. Cell phone service was spotty but that was fine.

It was exactly as advertised. A very nice cabin in the woods. Very, very clean, which we really appreciate! A nice older cabin that has everything that you need, close enough to food and outdoor activities. We actually went to Linville land harbor and played 9 holes of golf in the evening. A very nice cabin with room outside for our dog to walk around. Everything was just as advertised. A clean and comfortable cabin.

Loved the location. The house had fun games and entertaining aesthetics. Super cute and pet friendly with pet cages, a bed, etc. Very specious with a mom-n-pops environment. I would have done another check around the living room as we found what looked like previous owner's dog feces on the floor and a mild smell of dog urine by the crate, but otherwise, it was very well organized and clean.

We absolutely afored this cabin! Growing up in the Smoky Mountains our entire lives, this cabin gave us a since of nostalgia and comfort. The location was perfect as we had a wedding to go to at Linville Falls Winery (only a 3 minute drive!). 10/10 recommend

The cabin is very nice, tucked away and quiet. We absolutely loved that it is pet friendly. I would suggest that the area rugs be removed, the pet urine smell was quite overwhelming. Especially from the rug under the dining table. Other than that, the stay was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this property.

This was a great place to stay for a weekend hiking the gorge. Close to everything and very quiet.
