Some places ask you to slow down. Bear Claw Lodge never has to.
Hidden beneath acanopy of towering hardwoods, Bear Claw Lodge feels like a secret tucked deep within the North Georgia forest. Sunlight filters through the trees, birds replace notification sounds, and every path seems to lead back to the simple joy of being together. It's private, peaceful, and just wild enough to remind you why you came to the mountains in the first place.
Inspired by its woodland surroundings, Bear Claw Lodge embraces mountain living with understated style. Thoughtful bear inspired touches, warm natural wood, and inviting gathering spaces create an atmosphere that's sophisticated, comfortable, and full of personality without trying too hard.
The best days here don't require an itinerary.
Head outside to watch the stars in the hot tub. Gather around the outdoor fireplace with a charcuterie board and your favorite bottle of wine as the forest settles into the evening. Later, wander over to the fire pit where glowing embers, laughter, and a sky full of stars become the night's entertainment.
Even your dogs get their own vacation.
Bear Claw Lodge welcomes up to two dogs and features a spacious fenced yard where they can safely roam, play, and explore while you relax nearby. It's one of those thoughtful details that makes the cabin feel truly welcoming for every member of the family.
Inside, everyone has room to unwind. Two comfortable queen bedrooms are conveniently located on the main level, while the upstairs retreat features both a king and queen bed, making it an ideal suite for families or couples traveling together. Every bedroom includes its own TV, giving guests a quiet place to recharge after a day spent outdoors.
What makes Bear Claw Lodge memorable isn't found on an amenity list. It's the peaceful mornings when the forest slowly comes alive. The extra hour spent around the outdoor fireplace because nobody wants the evening to end. The sound of your dog happily exploring the yard while coffee brews inside. The laughter that echoes through the trees after one more round of ping pong.
Whether you're escaping with lifelong friends, introducing the kids to mountain life, or simply looking for a place where nature does most of the entertaining, Bear Claw Lodge offers an experience that's refreshingly different. Cozy without feeling crowded, refined without feeling formal, and surrounded by the kind of beauty that never asks for your attention but always earns it.
At Bear Claw Lodge, the mountains don't compete for your attention. They quietly remind you what matters most.
