An extraordinary home in a truly spectacular location!
Absolutely magical. Will definitely return.
We will definitely be back! Property has incredible character and priceless views. What a memorable spot to get engaged! Upstairs half bath with carpet was the only feature we weren’t too thrilled with but the primary bathroom was very spacious and nice. We visited with our two doodles and it was a great comfortable space for them as well.
Beams End was perfect for our25th anniversary! The view is truly magical! The massive windows take great advantage of the location at the elbow bend of the Navarro right before it reaches the ocean. It’s a double view with sky and weather to watch from two directions. Though there are some funky aspects, Beams End is really comfortable. I would totally reccomend!
If you enjoy rustic places, you'll love this one. Nothing modern here, but everything you need is provided. The view is outstanding. Very charming property. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Spectacular Views, lots of glass windows to enjoy it. It's completely built from what looks like reclaimed wood which gives it the vintage cabin appearance. Carpet in half bath not a great idea for cleanliness but we had a great time and spent a lot of it out on the deck.
A cozy home- perfect for a stay with my girlfriends with a reasonable drive to great places to hike. Would book again!
We arrived to find the cabin with picturesque views of the ocean, river, and trees. The view makes you feel like your in a treehouse in the clouds. All of these views are from any place on the property. We enjoyed having a private vacation with amazing weather.
Amazing views and the most comfy beds ever! The loft style bedroom with multiple beds creates a fun sleepover kind of vibe that you’ll enjoy if you’re close to those you’re traveling with. It’s a quick drive to Mendocino and access to redwood hiking trails, beaches, etc. But, once you’re at the rental, you might not want to go anywhere at all! Bring a cooler with plenty of provisions and your beverage of choice. Pack a book; this is a great place to read the day away. We absolutely loved it!
We spent 3 nights here with our two dogs. We enjoyed taking our dogs to the nearby beach as well as to Navarro Point Preserve and the botanical garden in Mendocino. However, this place was so cosy and well equipped that we would have had a great time if we just stayed in and took in the wonderful view. Anytime I had a question for the manager, I got an immediate response. This was a great getaway and I highly recommend it.
As good as it gets if you like to get away & feel a part of nature.
Wonderful location when visiting Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Great host, good communication, and peaceful spot for a get away.
Great time with the family at this very cozy home. The views are amazing even with the rainy weather we had. This place had everything we needed and we never felt cramped even with 5 people and 2 dogs. I plan on returning with just the wife for a honeymoon vacation.
This place is lovely beyond words. The view is pure heaven and huge windows everywhere bring it all in. A late night hot tub dip reveals millions of stars. We came to visit wine country but did not want to leave the house. It’s the perfect romantic retreat. Wonderful dining just a couple of miles away.
Spectacular views and everything we needed to have a nice relaxing weekend
Beam's End is a beautiful house with an absolutely one-of-a-kind view of the Navarro River as it empties into the Pacific from a high perch above the river. Though our time was a bit on the foggy side (always a risk on the Norcal coast), it was still incredibly beautiful watching it come in and out over the hills. The place is rustic and well appointed, and just 5-15 minutes away from great restaurants in Albion and Mendocino. The view from the hot tub cannot be beat.
It was our second stay at this property, its a beautiful location, very cozy and unique house, will come back in the future
Beam's End is on a truly beautiful location. The pictures don't do it justice. The house itself is quite nice and comfortable. Everything that we needed was pretty much available...we'd have preferred a gas bar-b-que, perhaps a few more chairs on the deck, but overall, not much to criticize. The owners were absolutely stellar in their communications and accommodations to a few things that came up, like a refund for one of our dogs passing before the trip (communication and credit was quick, easy, and no questions asked...which was nice at a hard time). Every time I needed to communicate the response was swift and spot on for what we needed. Simply couldn't have asked for a more responsive and attentive host. The trip was memorable because everything was as stated. A great place to stay.
An amazing beautiful place with history pieces throughout the home. It was quiet and our family had plenty of space to conversate catch up and relax.
Stayed 3 nights-- fog obscured the view for a couple of days, no matter, we were there to get away and to write. It was magical. Day 3 the sun came out and we enjoyed the remarkable vista. Had all we needed inside, and a great meals just 5 minutes down the road at the Ledford House. Mendo is a quick 15 minute drive.
We (my dog and I) had a wonderful stay. It was just what I needed-peaceful and breathtaking setting, rustic and comfortable accommodations and private/tranquil.
We really enjoyed our stay in this fun and somewhat funky little cabin. The views of the Navarro river running into the Pacific were fantastic. The kitchen had everything we needed. The Anderson Valley was a shortish drive. So, one day we drove up and picniced at Navarro Vineyards (a personal favorite of ours) and hiked the the first growth redwood forest in Hendy Wood. We also walked the trails above the Bluffs across Highway One from Navarro Ridge Road. Once again fantastic views. But, we took care to be mindful when the trails ran along near the cliffs. We definitely hope to return next year.
Wonderful stay, thanks for the wine, love everything about it!
