Beacon Point | Lakeside cabin in Presque Isle with a firepit and water access

Super clean, quiet and relaxing.

Wonderful place to stay. This was our second stay there and we’ll be back.

Great place and peaceful

The house is great and I met the owners one day while they were at their house next door. They were very pleasant and helpful. The only downfall of having Vacasa is that there is nobody local to help out. The cabin got a new keypad because it would not unlock for us with the code given. The handyman lived an hour away and gave us a new keypad because it was giving a lot of guests problems. He was very nice and didnt seem bothered that he got called out. Overall we had a nice stay and the dock was nice to have. It was a quiet vacation that we needed.

Beautiful quiet place to enjoy time with the family. Great waterfront area for small children.

This was the a very frustrating experience for us. We got an email that we could check in early so we headed over only to find out the lock would not work at all. We called your customer service number and was on the phone with her for 15 mins trying to open the door. She assured us that it would open at the 4 pm regular check in. We came back to drop off some things and go to the reservation for dinner. The door would still not open. This was the 2nd time we called the support line. We were on the phone with her for a long time trying different codes and looking for a non existent key box. She said she would contact the local manager and send him over. After waiting for over 20 mins we called for a 3rd time to check on how long we would be waiting. We found out that the 2nd operator did not contact the local manager directly but sent an email. After telling this new operator to call the local management and to give us an estimated time of arrival. We were then told that is not information to be given out. We asked several time to give the local person our number to call us directly. At this point we had to cancel our reservations for dinner. The local manager showed up at 5:20 pm an hour after we should have gotten into our cabin and 4 hours after the early check-in text. Turns out the text had the wrong code. We had to call local manager again because the lock/code was bad. The water is sulfur so it smells like farts. Not much good in this cabin.

The view was the only thing I liked about this cabin. The water smells like rotten eggs, the yard was unkept, the dishwasher blew a fuse, the tv is mounted so high that your neck cramps, the beds were adequate, and there were no salt/pepper/spices in the house. There are some stairs that go down to the lake but there's no beach and no pier. Don't count on ANY help from the Vacasa company itself - we had multiple problems with the door code and no help from the company, just help from local manager. There are so many other options in this area that you can skip this nighmare.

We came here to celebrate our first year marriage anniversary and we enjoyed the stay, the lake view from the cabin and the lakefront was beautiful, as well as the wildlife. Very peaceful! Full kitchen with cooking utensils etc! We did call guest services because we were trying to figure out the lock, before you arrive read the instructions about the lock because we trying to figure it out in the dark! Overall, we were very please!

This cabin was very clean and well maintained. The lake setting gave us a great view of Presque Isle lake during the day and the stars at night. Wildlife in the front yard included eagles fishing and plenty of deer. We'd stay again and bring our kayaks.

This place is very clean and is perfect for a small family or couples getaway. Great view over the lake. Quiet and relaxing. Parking is not very convenient but workable. We arrived after dark and there was no lighting leading us to the rental. I’ll still give it five stars though! Wished we could’ve spent more time there but we had a lot of activities planned. We’d stay again and bring the boat for some fishing. The lake appears to be super clean!

Beach was all sand, shallow for children. Home was so beautiful and cozy. Everything was picture perfect.

This cozy cabin has beautiful views of Presque Isle Lake and all the beauty of the surrounding area. We enjoyed the peaceful feeling of this well built cabin. Conveniently located right in the middle of Vilas county wilderness for us to explore all the natural beauty

It was a beautiful property, right on the water! We had the best time!
