Property wasn’t as remote as add made it out to be. House was right next door, viewable from hot tub on porch. Hot tub water smelled bad like a fish aquarium. Mattress was really hard and uncomfortable, pillows were very flat and empty feeling. Did not sleep well at all.

The property was nice and quiet. Very peaceful scenery. Enjoyed the company of rambler the hound as well. Also, enjoyed the very short drive to the state park.

This is an amazing property. There was a car show there which was a bonus. Seclusion at its best!!! You can’t see the cabin from the street which is great. The cabin was perfect with all the amenities. Hot tub, Wi-Fi and BBQ grill was the highlight of my trip. Will definitely do again, oh and the owner is A1. I had a small issue and he took care of it right away.

This is a beautiful sweet spot to stay. Peaceful, it is everything you'd ask for in a get away. We will for sure be rebooking. Loved this place so much.

This property was EXACTLY what we needed to get away for a few days. Completely secluded, tucked away in the mountains. The house had everything needed to get by- a well stocked kitchen. And an overall homey feeling. We both said we definitely wanted to visit this place again, and that we left feeling more relaxed than we had in a LONG time.

This is exactly what we needed. Limited cell and no internet. It was a little hard to find but once we did we enjoy our couple of nights there. We watched lighting bugs and listened to all the sounds of creatures at night.

Our stay was everything we needed it to be. From the cozy fireplace to the luxury hot tub, we were very impressed. The cabin was well kept and clean and we recommended anyone considering to book to go ahead. You will be completely satisfied just like we were. The hosts were kind and friendly as well.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Bass Cabin. It was impeccably clean. The rooms are comfortable. The kitchen is adequately stocked. The hot tub was great. Very clean and a welcome comfort at the end of the day after exploring all the beautiful scenery in Desoto State Park, Little River Canyon, Congo Falls Park, Noccalula Falls Park, as well as James Floyd and Cloudland Canyon State Parks in GA. The neighbor’s dogs did visit us almost every day but we have 5 dogs at home that we were missing so we welcomed the visits.

We had a great time at the bass cabin! It was perfect for us. It's very private and has a beautiful view from the front porch. The off leash laws in the area are apparent as we received 3 visitors (dogs) during our stay, which we didn't mind.

Not at all what I expected. The hot tub was not on and sitting at 74’. Took until the next day to be warm enough to get in. A total of 4 dogs on the porch constantly. The dogs were covered in ticks. I contacted the host just be told “there are no leash laws in that area” so nothing they could do about it. Rat droppings in the silverware drawers, so we went to the local dollar general to get plate, cups and utensils. It’s hard to relax with that many dogs. So we either stayed away out doing things or just stayed in the cabin. The downstairs bed is on the harder side. My daughter stayed upstairs where it was probably 85’ with no outlets to plug anything up. So I went back to the local dollar general and bought a fan and an extension cord so I could run the plug downstairs. All in all, we will not be staying at this location again. Big thank you to the dollar general for supplying everything we needed for this stay.

We were a family of four and this rental was not stocked adequately. 3 coffee mugs, one kitchen towel and 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for four days. No salt, only pepper. Kitchen is not stocked with even minimal essentials, neither is the bathroom. One two inch tube of a shampoo/conditioner combo and two bars of soap that were one inch in diameter. We brought our own, but this unit was way over priced for what was presented upon arrival. Roaches in the kitchen, along with visible rodent droppings in the kitchen drawers. The neighbors dogs were covered in so many ticks that when they finally left the porch, ticks were visibly crawling on the porch mat. One of the rocking chairs has a broken slat that makes it unusable. If you want privacy (or even to have a simple conversation with your spouse in the bedroom) you will be disappointed. Our teens in the loft could hear us whispering in the downstairs bedroom. Nice hot tub.

We stayed 2 nights in this quaint little cabin. We came to see the fall foliage in DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon. We were not disappointed. The Cabin is far enough out to feel privacy, but close enough to get to Ft Payne in a short time. The cabin is perfect for couples, but be prepared to climb a steep ladder to the loft and twin beds if your group is more than 2 people. Be sure to screen shot your check in info including door code, because cell service is spotty. There is good WiFi in the cabin. It’s not a fancy place but is comfortable and convenient. The hot tub is nice. It is not walking distance to the park, but it’s only a few minutes drive away. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in many tiny homes, so we had low expectations of this cabin. IT'S FULL SIZE. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft and having their own space. I was pretty upset that Rambler the hound dog didn't show up when we arrived, but he made up for it the next morning, and before we left. Absolutely amazing getaway, everything we needed. Loved hearing the cows. 100% A+ ALLLLL of the stars. Thank you so much!

Very nice very cozy cabin. Beautiful location. Right beside desoto national park. Desoto falls is a must to see an explore. Rambler the bloodhound was cool too a little stinky but great friend. The bed in the downstairs is a little worn out a doesn’t sleep very well. But climb the stairs a put the two twins together upstairs a king size bed it is a sleep good.
